(To Coincide with Fasting Prayer Service Session III)Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 5:5-105:5 But one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals."
5:6 And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
5:7 Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.
5:8 Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
5:9 And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; For You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
5:10 And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth."John the apostle wept much at Patmos Island because he struggled and yearned to get the opening of the secret of the Word as well as the doors in the world and the door of the heavenly kingdom.
Who is worthy to open the secret of the Word of God?
- [Verse 5] Jesus as the lion of the tribe of Judah or the Root of David that has prevailed.
- [Verse 6] Jesus as the Lamb of God that had been slain.
We learn the second point.
The revealing of the Word of God is connected with Jesus as the Lamb of God that had been slain. It means the revealing of the Word of God encourages us to experience the redemption or deliverance from the sins by the blood of Jesus.
John 1:291:29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!Jesus as the Lamb of God that had been slain means Jesus who has died on the cross to erase the sin and save the sinners in the world.
Acts 2:36-402:36 "Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredlythat God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ."
2:37 Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Men and brethren, what shall we do?"
2:38 Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptizedin the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
2:39 For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call."
2:40 And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, "Be saved from this perverse generation."The process of salvationis as follows:
- Knowing assuredly means having faith or believing in Jesus as the only Savior through hearing the opening of the secret of the Word of God.
- Realizing and regretting the sins, so we can confess the sin to God and others. After being forgiven, do not sin anymore. We repent and die to sin.
- Entering the Water Baptism.
- Entering the Holy Spirit Baptism.
We are born from water and Spirit, so we have a new life or heavenly one. It means the life that is anointed by Holy Spirit.
The facts found in a new manare as follows:
- Walking in the Holy Spirit.
Galatians 5:15-17
5:15 But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another!
5:16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.
It means that we do not follow the will or lust of flesh so we can obey the will of God. We become obedient in all ways of life. Do not walk out from the will of God for we will fall and get the ruin.
- Being led by the Holy Spirit.
Galatians 5:18-21
5:18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
5:19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
5:20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
5:21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
The Holy Spirit puts to death the deed of flesh or sin, so we can live in righteousness and pureness or we are holy up to our heart). Let us limit our life with the righteousness and pureness.
- Living in the Holy Spirit.
Galatians 5:24-25
5:24 And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
It means crucifying the flesh and its lust until it does not sound anymore. The Veil is torn and we live in the ambience of the throne of Heaven.
Galatians 5:26
5:26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
The proof is that we do not have the character of flesh that is becoming conceited, provoking one another, and envying one another. Let us have the character of the Holy Spirit that is respecting, helping, and loving one another. We will have the fruits of the Holy Spirit.
Galatians 5:22-23
5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
5:23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
Bearing fruit means changing in life. We experience the change of life or the renewal from carnal man to the spiritual one like Jesus or the wood which is overlaid with gold.
For example, the rod of Aaron was made of wood that refers to the life that is powerless, unworthy, and dead or there is no hope. If we are willing to be redeemed by the blood of Jesus and released from sins, so we are anointed by the Holy Spirit, the rod will sprout, produce blossoms, and yield fruits.
How great a man in the world is, without the Holy Spirit he will get the ruin. For example, King Saul was a great king, but he disobeyed God, so he lost the anointing of the Holy Spirit and everything that he had.
- Budding means being alive. It means that the Holy Spirit is able to care our life physically and spiritually. There is hope and we can be hoped.
- Producing blossoms means that we are equipped with the ministry and the gifts of the Holy Spiritor the beautiful tunic, so we are employed in the revival of the building of the perfect body of Christ. God makes our life beautiful and joyful.
When we are unfaithful in ministry, our life is like withering flower. If we leave the ministry, we will be like the withering flower before blooming. We lose our beauty and joy until we perish like Judas Iscariot.
- Yielding fruits means that we have the character or the image of God Trinity.
'Love, joy, peace' are the image of Father God.
'Longsuffering, kindness, goodness' are the image of Son of God.
'Faithfulness, gentleness, self-control' are the image of God the Holy Spirit.
Genesis 1:26
1:26 Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."
The creating of our character happens when there is pressure or temptation in all ways (ministry, economy, et cetera). Let us keep silent, correct ourselves through the sharpness of the sword of the Word, and surrender fully to God.
The results are as follows:
- We have the beaming face and peace in heart, and everything becomes easy and light.
- We win over the Trinity of Satan or the source of problems. The Holy Spirit is able to finish all impossible problems and make everything successful and beautiful in time.
- The Holy Spirit is able to change us until we are perfect and worthy to greet the second coming of Jesus on the glorious clouds. We are together with God forever.
God blesses us.
