Peace and grace in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Matthew 28:16-20 is about the commandment to preach the Gospel or to spread the light or shekinah glory. It means we are employed by God in a great revival according to the great commission as follows.
- [ay 18-19] The revival of Holy Spirit at the early rain.
Matthew 28:19
28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
It is the revival in gospel word or the gospel of salvation. It is also called Good Tidings to bring the sinners to get the salvation through the water baptism.
- The revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain.
Matthew 28:20
28:20 "teachingthem to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.
It is the revival in the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ or the teaching Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword. It is called Bride Tidings to bring the people who have been saved to enter the building of Christ’s perfect body, be sanctified, and perfected to become the Bride of God who is ready to welcome Jesus’ second coming as Heavenly Bridegroom on glorious clouds, and then to enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God.
The relationship between Jesus (Heavenly Bridegroom) with the congregation (Heavenly Bride) is same as the relationship between Head and the body, namely the neck or worship prayer. Thus, our worship prayer must be in the atmosphere of the marriage supper of the Lamb.
Exodus 30:1,330:1. "You shall make an altar to burn incense on; you shall make it of acacia wood.
30:3 "And you shall overlay its top, its sides all around, and its horns with pure gold; and you shall make for it a molding of gold all around. The worship prayer refers to the Golden Altar of Incense in Tabernacle. It is made of acacia wood that is overlain with pure gold.
The wood refers to carnal men who are so fragile and destroyed by the influence of the world. It has black color, referring to the sins. It is also hard, referring to the hardness of heart.
Thus, the acacia wood refers to the carnal men who are sinful and hard-hearted.
It must be overlain with gold in order to be made as the Golden Altar of Incense. It means
the carnal men need Holy Spirit as a must in order to be able to worship God.
Romans 8:26-278:26. Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
8:27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. The meaning of the worship prayer is as follows.
- Humbling our life as low as we can until we kneel before Jesus, the Great Shepherd.
Psalm 95:6-7
95:6 Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneelbefore the LORD our Maker.
95:7 For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture, And the sheep of His hand. Today, if you will hear His voice:
It means we are well-shepherded to the one true teaching Word. The result is as follows.
- The merciful hand of the Great Shepherd leads us to enter the shepherding pen or the Holy Place.
Psalm 23:1-3
23:1. a) <<A Psalm of David.>> The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
23:2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.
23:3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.
There are three kinds of equipment inside the Holy Place that refer to the perseverance in doing three main services to God as follows.
- Golden Candlestick or perseverance in doing General Service.
- Table of Showbread or perseverance in doing Bible Study Service with Holy Communion.
- Golden Altar of Incense or perseverance in doing Prayer Service.
We experience the preservation of God in the sheepfold, until we can confess and feel “I shall not want.” Meaning the merciful hand of the Great Shepherd preserves us until we have abundance in our life or we always give thanks to God. The merciful hand of God is able to create something that does not exist yet, so we always have what we need.
- The merciful hand of Great Shepherd leads us to beautiful future life which is successful and joyful.
Revelation 7:17
7:17 "for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."
It continues until we are led to enter the last sheepfold, namely New Jerusalem.
- Seeing Jesus as the Great Shepherd and talking to Him.
John 9:37-38
9:37 And Jesus said to him, "You have both seenHim and it is He who is talkingwith you."
9:38 Then he said, "Lord, I believe!" And he worshiped Him.
The result is as follows.
- We are strong and of good courage as well as not moved.
Psalm 16:8
16:8. I have set the LORD always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.
It means as follows.
- We keep on holding fast to the true teaching Word and obeying it, so we are not tossed to and fro by other teachings.
- We do not doubt or become disappointed and desperate facing all problems but we keep on believing and hoping in Jesus.
- We do not want to sin whatever risk we have to face.
John 16:33
16:33 "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."
If we are strong and of good courage, we will experience the power of victory over the world with its influences, wave and windstorm, so all things are made calm, still, and peaceful. All problems are solved in time of need. We can be faithful and fervent in spirit doing our service and ministry to God.
- We experience the renewal of life and spiritual miracle that the blind can see.
John 9:39-41
9:39. And Jesus said, "For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind."
9:40 Then some of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these words, and said to Him, "Are we blind also?"
9:41 Jesus said to them, "If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, ‘We see.’ Therefore your sin remains.
We are changed from carnal men to spiritual ones as Jesus is.
The beginning of the renewal is feeling that we are blind. Meaning we do not see the fault of others but ours. Realizing the sin, we must confess to God and other people. Being forgiven, we should not repeat it.
We also must feel that we are little, meaning we do not rely on anything in the world but Jesus, the Great Shepherd. We kneel before Him to fully surrender to Him, believe, and entrust our life to Him. We only cry His name and there is physical miracle for us. The blind can see and the merciful hand of God is able to make possible all impossible things.
Every step in our life is full of miracle in the guidance of the Great Shepherd through the true worship. It continues until we are changed to become as glorious as Jesus is when He comes a second time and we are exalted on glorious clouds. We see Him face to face.
Revelation 19:6-7,9
19:6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, "Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!
19:7 "Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready."
19:9 Then he said to me, "Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’"And he said to me, "These are the true sayings of God."
We worship God saying 'alleluia', until we enter New Jerusalem.
Revelation 22:3-4
22:3 And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him.
22:4 They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads.
God blesses you.
