Speaker: Deacon Youpri ArdiantoroMark 9 in arrangement of Tabernacle refers to the Golden Altar of Incense.
Exodus 30:1,3
30:1 “You shall make an altar to burn incense on; you shall make it of acacia wood.
30:3 And you shall overlay its top, its sides all around, and its horns with pure gold; and you shall make for it a molding of gold all around.
The Golden Altar of Incense is made of acacia wood that is overlaid of gold.
The acacia wood refers to the flesh men. Its color is black, referring to the men that live in sin. Its characters are hard and easily producing sap, referring to hard heart of men and easily falling in sin.
To become the Golden Altar of Incense or the true worshiper, the acacia wood must be overlaid with gold.
The gold refers to the holiness of Holy Spirit or the character of God.
To be able to worship God, we need the things as follows:
- We need the help of Holy Spirit. Without It, we cannot worship God.
Romans 8:26-27
8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
8:27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is,because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will ofGod.
How does Holy Spirit help us to worship God?
Romans 8:13
8:13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
Holy Spirit puts to death the flesh and its lust so we live.
- We worship with Spirit and truth.
John 4:24
4:24 God isSpirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
John 17:17
17:17 Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.
The truth is the Word that sanctifies.
John 15:3
15:3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
Thus, we must hear the Word in anointing of Holy Spirit, the Word that is said by Jesus Himself that is a verse explains another verse in Bible.
The true worshiper will live. It means one will not be controlled by death.
There are two meanings of death, as follows:
- Sin.
Romans 5:12
5:12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned—
- Forever perdition.
Mark 9:1
9:1 And He said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you that there are some standing here who will not taste death till they see the kingdom of God present with power.”
Mark 8:38
8:38 For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.”
One who can greet Jesus’ second coming is the life that is not controlled by death. It is the life that puts to death his flesh and its lust and will by the work of the Word in anointing of Holy Spirit.
John 5:25
5:25 Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live.
By the voice of Son of God, the dead will live. The dead refers to death in sin but he will live if he hears the voice of Son of God.
Our attitude when we hear the Word of Son of God is admitting our condition, regretting, and stopping sinning. Then, we will live.
John 5:28-29
5:28 Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice
5:29 and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.
The lives that physically die but during his lifetime he hears the voice of Son of God; he will rise when Jesus comes a second time to receive the eternal life. But, the dead who lives without believing God or Christian who does not hear the voice of Son of God in his life will not be raised when Jesus comes a second time.
Those who are alive and hear the voice of Son of God in their life will be changed when Jesus comes a second time.
Both of them, ones who are dead and alive will become one on glorious clouds to enter the marriage supper of the Lamb up to New Jerusalem forever.
To die and live physically is the right of God. All we need to do is hearing the voice of Son of God in our life.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
4:16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
4:17 Then we who are alive andremain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
John 14:3
14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, thereyou may be also.
Wherever God is, there we may be also. It refers to the connection of body and head, the connection between the Groom and the Bride.
Matthew 8:19-20
8:19 Then a certain scribe came and said to Him, “Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go.”
8:20 And Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air havenests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay Hishead.”
Romans 12:4-5
12:4 For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function,
12:5 so we, beingmany, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.
Even though we are many, we are one body in Christ. The body of Christ or the Bride of Heaven consists of ones who are alive until Jesus comes a second time and ones who are dead but being raised when Jesus comes a second time. They are not controlled by death.
The signs of the life that is not controlled by death are as follows:
- Loving brother or others like we love ourselves.
1 John 3:11-15
3:11 For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another,
3:12 not as Cain whowas of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother’s righteous.
3:13 Do not marvel, my brethren, if the world hates you.
3:14 We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love hisbrother abides in death.
3:15 Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.
The practice is what we want others to do for us; it is what we do for them.
In two tablets of stone, the matter of loving others is written in the second tablet. .
Exodus 20:12-17
20:12 “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lordyour God is giving you.
20:13 “You shall not murder.
20:14 “You shall not commit adultery.
20:15 “You shall not steal.
20:16 “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
20:17 “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that isyour neighbor’s.”
- The first of others is parents. Loving parents is respecting them whatever the condition is. It is the proof of the life that is not controlled by the death.
- Loving others also means no kill or no hatred. If there is hatred, it means one is controlled by death. If it continues, it will become the hatred without reason.
- Do not commit adultery. There is no other man or woman in marriage. Marriage is one husband is added with one wife, they become one flesh (1+1=1). Between husband and wife there is cross only.
- Do not steal others’, do not corrupt, but pay all the debts.
- Do not lie. Whatever happens we say yes if yes, no if no. Do not lie for helping others whatever the risk may come.
- Do not covet.
- We are right and become the instruments of righteousness.
Romans 6:9-13
6:9 knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him.
6:10 For the deaththat He died, He died to sin once for all; but the lifethat He lives, He lives to God.
6:11 Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
6:12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.
6:13 And do not present your members asinstruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members asinstruments of righteousness to God.
Living in righteousness means living in the Word.
The instrument of righteousness is the life that is employed to minister to God in righteousness.
The instruments of righteousness are useful for two things, namely defending and attacking [2 Corinthians 6:2-10].
Why must we live in righteousness?
Because not living in righteousness, but ministering in wrong way, means not doing the will of God. Even though we are great in ministry, if we are not right, we will be perished by God at His second coming.
We must minister to God in faithfulness and fervency until the end line
- Obeying the Word whatever the risk may come.
John 5:24
5:24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.
John 8:51-53
8:51 Most assuredly, I say to you, if anyone keeps My word he shall never see death.”
8:52 Then the Jews said to Him, “Now we know that You have a demon! Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and You say, ‘If anyone keeps My word he shall never taste death.’
8:53 Are You greater than our father Abraham, who is dead? And the prophets are dead. Who do You make Yourself out to be?”
Abraham must sacrifice Isaac, his only son. But he obeys God whatever the risk may come.
If we can obey the Word whatever the risk may come, it is the proof that we are not controlled by death.
The results we are not controlled by death, as follows:
- We live physically and spiritually. It is signified by growth.
- We experience joy and peace. Live that is controlled by death only experiences fear.
- When Jesus comes a second time, the dead and alive will meet together on glorious clouds and then together with God forever.
God blesses us.
