Revelation 5:5-10
5:5 But one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals."
5:6 And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
5:7 Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.
5:8 Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
5:9 And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
5:10 And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth."
John the apostle wept much means that he struggled and yearned to get the opening of the secret of the Word or the revelation from God. We also must cry out and struggle to get the opening of the secret of the Word or the true teaching Word. When there is the opening of the secret of the Word, there is the opening of the way or door in the world up to the door of the heavenly kingdom.
Who can open the scroll or the secret of the Word?
We learn the first point.
The revealing of the Word from Jesus as the Lion of the tribe of Judah means as follows:
Jesus is the Root of David that has prevailed. It means that the opening of the Word is connected with victory. Jesus wants the Gentiles to become the priest and king that always win.
Psalm 20:6,9
20:6 Now I know that the LORD saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven With the saving strength of His right hand.
20:9 Save, LORD! May the King answer us when we call.
The priest and king that have prevailed refer to the one who is anointed by God.
Isaiah 11:1-3
11:1 There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.
11:2 The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.
11:3 His delight is in the fear of the LORD, And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, Nor decide by the hearing of His ears;
The priest and king who are anointed by God refer to the servant of God who fear the Lord.
Thus, the Root of David that has prevailed refers to the priest and king who are anointed by God. So they always win and fear God.
The facts found in fearing God are as follows:
Thus, the Root of David that has prevailed means the priest and king that are anointed by Holy Spirit, so they always win and fear God. They are the priests and kings that are ministering God with faithfulness, righteousness, and obedience. As a result, we are trusted with the key of David.
Revelation 3:7-8
3:7 "And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, 'These things says He who is holy, He who is true, "He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens":
3:8 "I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.
The church in Philadelphia has a little strength but they are as follows:
Then, the church of Philadelphia will be granted the key of David, namely the mercy and goodness of God which are great than anything in the world.
The results are as follows:

- The revealing of the Word of God encourages the Gentiles to experience the purification so they are equipped with the ministry and the gift from Holy Spirit.
- The revealing of the Word of God encourages the Gentiles to be ridden by God and employed in the revival of Holy Spirit at the last rain so they become the throne of God.

- We hate sin and lie or we live in righteousness.
Proverbs 8:13
8:13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate.
Living in righteousness is the same as winning over the sins. - We minister to God in faithfulness and sincerity.
Joshua 24:14
24:14 " Now therefore, fear the LORD, serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt. Serve the LORD!
Sincerity means having no purpose to get physical advantage or being willing to sacrifice.
James 4:4
4:4 Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
If we are faithful and sincere, we will win over the world and its influence. - We obey the command of God whatever the risk may come.
Ecclesiastes 12:13
12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man's all.
Romans 8:7
8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.
If we obey the command of God, we will win over the flesh and its lust and will.
Thus, the Root of David that has prevailed means the priest and king that are anointed by Holy Spirit, so they always win and fear God. They are the priests and kings that are ministering God with faithfulness, righteousness, and obedience. As a result, we are trusted with the key of David.

Then, the church of Philadelphia will be granted the key of David, namely the mercy and goodness of God which are great than anything in the world.
The results are as follows:
- The key of David gives the door of victory for us.
Revelation 3:9
3:9 "Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie--indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.
It means that there is way out from all impossible problems. - The door of protection and caring of God.
Revelation 3:10
3:10 "Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.
God is able to care and protect us in the midst of difficulties and impossibilities when the Antichrist reigns on earth. - The door of the kingdom of heaven is opened for us.
Revelation 3:12
3:12 "He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. And I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.
The meanings are as follows:- The door of lifting up. We are lifted up from the valley of fall, failure, and tears. David fell in sin with Bathsheba but he could be helped by God.
- The door of renewal. It is the life renewal from carnal man to spiritual one like Jesus. It starts from becoming the pillar that is being strong and of good courage. We keep on following and ministering to God and waiting for Jesus' second coming. We also keep on living in righteousness and holiness.
Galatians 2:9
2:9 and when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that had been given to me, they gave me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship, that we should go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised.
The life that is faithful, right, obedient, strong, and of good courage will be employed in the revival of the building of the perfect of body of Christ until we become the Bride of Heaven that is ready to greet His second coming on the glorious clouds.
