Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 21:12 21:12 Also she had a great and high wallwith twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:The wall of the New Jerusalem is great and high. It refers to the majesty, greatness, and authority of the heavenly bride.
1 Peter 2:9,5 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 2:5 you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. The heavenly bride consists of the living stones, namely the priests and kings who are holy, so they can testify and glorify God's name.
Be careful of the fallen wall!
Proverbs 24:30-3124:30 I went by the field of the lazy man, And by the vineyard of the man devoid of understanding;
24:31 And there it was, all overgrown with thorns; Its surface was covered with nettles; Its stone wall was broken down.Being lazy is the same as unfaithfulness.
Being devoid of understanding is the same as not being wise or obedient.
Thus, the wall that is broken down refers to the lazy and evil servants of God. Why do the priests and kings become lazy and evil?
It happens because of the spiritual cold or having no love.
Proverbs 20:4 20:4 The lazy man will not plow because of winter; He will beg during harvest and have nothing.1 John 3:11-123:11 For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another,
3:12 not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother's righteous. One serves and ministers to God without love, so he becomes lazy and evil.
The consequences are as follows:
- Being unprofitable or making God's heart grieved until he is ashamed and destroyed.
- Being overgrown with thorns or living in the atmosphere of curses, namely heavy burden, weariness, toil, and tears.
- Not being able to become the wall of the New Jerusalem or the heavenly bride. It means being left behind when Jesus comes a second time and perishing .
Therefore, we must receive the love of God, so we can serve and minister to God with love until someday we become the wall of the New Jerusalem, namely we glorify God until being glorified with Him and becoming His bride.
Where can we get the love of God?
- By making peace. The Word showing our sins encourages us to realize, regret, and confess sins to God and others with a broken heart or regret. Being forgiven, do not repeat the sin, but repent! We can forgive and forget the sins of others.
Thus, making peace means having the broken heart or crying for finishing sin.
Proverbs28:13
28:13 He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.
As a result, we receive the love of God, so we can serve and minister to God with love, namely we love God more than anything and we love other people as we love ourselves; even we can love our enemy. We become the faithful and good servants of God. We glorify God until being glorified with Him.
- Worshiping God with a broken heat and bowing down at His feet.
John 11:32-36
11:32 Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, "Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died."
11:33 Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her weeping, He groaned in the spirit and was troubled.
11:34 And He said, "Where have you laid him?" They said to Him, "Lord, come and see."
11:35 Jesus wept.
11:36 Then the Jews said, "See how He loved him!"
We confess that we are only like the sheep for the slaughter, namely the distance between us and the death is only a step. We only rely fully on His mercy. We fully surrender to God and lift up our hands to Him.
As a result, God will stretch out His merciful hands as follows:
- God gives us extra power for facing the impossible problems.
Romans8:35-36
8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
8:36 As it is written: "For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter."
We can be strong and of good courage, namely we do not get disappointed and hopeless as well as leave God or we are not separated
from Him. We keep on giving thanks, believing, and hoping God.
- God changes us from the fleshly mnen to the spiritual ones like Jesus is.
John 11:39-40
11:39 Jesus said, "Take away the stone." Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, "Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days."
11:40 Jesus said to her, "Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?"
Being hard-hearted is the same as being doubtful or not believing the Lord Himself or the true teaching Word. We are changed to be meek, namely being honest, believing God, and being obedient.
- The merciful hands of God make us more than conquerors.
Romans8:37
8:37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
Lazarus who had died for four days could be resurrected. The rotten in sins can be made fragrant, namely living in righteousness and holiness to be used as the witness of God. The failure is changed into success and beauty in due time. The destroyed things can be made good. There is beautiful successful future life until being perfect and appearing as the great high walls of the New Jerusalem.
God blesses you.
