Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 21:1521:15. And he who talked with me had a gold reed to measure the city, its gates, and its wall. The gold reed measures the things as follows:
- The city of the New Jerusalem.
- The wall of the New Jerusalem.
- The gates of the New Jerusalem.
The measurements of the gates of the New Jerusalem are as follows:
- The twelve gates whichare the twelve pearls.
Revelation 21:21
21:21. The twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.
It refers to the opportunity for the Gentiles to enter the New Jerusalem.
- The street of the city is pure gold.
It means that the shepherding Word is able to increase our faith up to perfection.
- The street of the city is like transparent glass.
It means that the shepherding Word is able to purify and change our heart to become sincere like transparent glass. Nothing is hidden.
ad. 3.
The street of the city is like transparent glass.
The example is Moses.
Moses was in Egypt for forty years. He learned for his cleverness, but he was unable to serve two men--the image of the marriage--; even he killed one of them. It means that ministering God by using cleverness only will make us become the murderer that means envy, hatred,
et cetera.
Moses was in Midian for forty years. He learned how to become tender and sincere, so he could be sent by God to minister the Israelites.
Exodus 3:1-53:1. Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. And he led the flock to the back of the desert, and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.
3:2. And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed.
3:3. Then Moses said, "I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn."
3:4. So when the LORD saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, "Moses, Moses!" And he said, "Here I am."
3:5. Then He said, "Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground."In the shepherding, Moses experienced the working of the flaming fire or the shepherding Word to purify and change the fleshy man physically and spiritually up to becoming as a newborn baby.
The fleshly man is like bush that likes to hurt others and God.
The purification starts from the heart as follows:
- The hard heart that contains evil, uncleanness, and bitternessuntilone cannot obey God. It means having no love.
Mark 7:21-22
7:21. "For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries(1), fornications(2), murders(3),
7:22. thefts (4), covetousness (5), wickedness (6), deceit (7), lewdness(8), an evil eye(9), blasphemy (10), pride (11), foolishness (12).
It is purified and changed to become tender and full of love, so he can love or obey God as well as love others by doing the good thing, even love the enemy by returning good for evil.
- The weak heart, namely beingwithout the Word.
1 Corinthians 8:7-9
8:7. However, there is not in everyone that knowledge; for some, with consciousness of the idol, until now eat it as a thing offered to an idol; and their conscience, being weak, is defiled.
8:8. But food does not commend us to God; for neither if we eat are we the better, nor if we do not eat are we the worse.
8:9. But beware lest somehow this liberty of yours become a stumbling block to those who are weak.
It means that one easily stumbles and gets disappointed, desperate, and proud. Moses was desperate because of the Israelites.
Exodus 6:8-11
6:8. So Moses spoke thus to the children of Israel; but they did not heed Moses, because of anguish of spirit and cruel bondage.
6:9. And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
6:10. "Go in, tell Pharaoh king of Egypt to let the children of Israel go out of his land."
6:11. And Moses spoke before the LORD, saying, "The children of Israel have not heeded me. How then shall Pharaoh heed me, for I am of uncircumcised lips?"
It is purified and changed to become strong and of good courage. It means being full of the Word. We just trust and hope God.
- Hypocrisy, namely beingwithout Holy Spirit.
Exodus 2:12
2:12. So he looked this way and that way, and when he saw no one, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand.
It depends on man, riches, and cleverness in the world.
It is changed to become sincere like transparent glass or full of Holy Spirit. It is the same as becoming as a newborn baby.
The facts are as follows:
- Becoming honest no matter risk may come, especially we are honest about the teaching Word.
- Having peace.
- Just looking at God regardless of anything that happens.
Psalm 11:7
11:7. For the LORD is righteous, He loves righteousness; His countenance beholds the upright.
It is the same as practicing to walk on transparent glass. We are like a baby who cries to God. It means worshiping God. We surrender our physical and spiritual infirmity and weakness to God. We just need God's mercy.
Exodus 2:6
2:6. And when she had opened it, she saw the child, and behold, the baby wept. So she had compassion on him, and said, "This is one of the Hebrews' children."
The baby Moses was at the hand of the daughter of Pharaoh. He should have died, but he lived because of God's mercy that is beyond the mind. The impossible thing becomes possible.
As a result, God's merciful hand is able to protect and take care of us in the midst of the difficulties of the world. He gives us beautiful and successful future. He finishes all of impossible problems as well as uses us in the building of the body of Christ. He lifts us up from the falling. Moses ever slipped in walking on transparent glass. He became disobedient to God. God had said 'Speak to the rock!', but Moses struck it. The miracle happened, but the direction was not to Canaan anymore but to the tomb. But, on the mount of prayer, Moses could stand in Canaan. The lifting up happens in the prayer. God's merciful hand is able to lift us up from our infirmity, falling, failure, et ceterauntil we can walk on transparent glass in the New Jerusalem.
God blesses us.
