Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 9:1-12is about the fifth trumpet or the fifth condemnation of the Son of God to men in the earth, namely the torment of the scorpions five months.

Revelation 9:7-12 is about the locusts and scorpions.
The locusts refer to the wicked and unclean spirits which come up from the bottomless pit.

There are two things about the locust as follows:

  1. The shape of the locust is like horses which are prepared for battle.
    Revelation 9:7
9:7 The shape of the locusts was like horses prepared for battle. On their heads were crowns of something like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men.

  2. The tail of the locust is like the tail of scorpion which has sting.
    Revelation 9:10
9:10 They had tails like scorpions, and there were stings in their tails.Their power was to hurt men five months.

    1 Corinthians 15:55-56
15:55 "O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?"
15:56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law
    .

The tail of the locust is the same as the sting of scorpion.
The sting of scorpion refers to the sting of death or sin.

So, the locust refers to the wicked and unclean spirits as the trigger of sins which make the servant and minister of God do the sins up to the peak, namely the sins of eating-drinking such as smoking, getting drunk, drugs abuse, and the sins of marrying-being given in marriage such as adultery with all of its kinds, mixed-marriage, and divorce-remarrying. So, men experience the torment or the sting of the scorpion for five months until they perish forever.

Celebrating the Passover, the power of the resurrection of Jesus is able to defeat the death, so we do not perish but live eternally forever.

Revelation 9:7-8

9:7 The shape of the locusts was like horses prepared for battle. On their heads were crowns of something like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men.
9:8 They had hair like women's hair, and their teeth were like lions' teeth.

The conditions of the locust or sin are as follows:

  1. There is crown of something like gold on the head.
It means that it has smart brain to make a wicked and unclean plan.

  2. The face is like the face of men.
It means that the sin does not look at the face, skin, intelligence, finance, age, spirituality, or health. All men are attacked by sins up to the peak.

  3. The hair is like the women's hair.
It means that there are many kinds of sin. There are three groups of sins, namely the wickedness, uncleanness, and bitterness.
The hair of women is long. It means that the sin has long story which is not easy to be finished even it cannot be finished.
The hair is also smooth. It refers to the hypocrisy or pretense.

  4. The teeth are like lions' teeth.
It means that the sins tear up and scatter the body of Christ.

    Isaiah 59:1-2
59:1 Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear.
59:2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear.

The sins make men separated from God.

The example and consequence of being separated from God and other people is Job.
Job 19:13-19
19:13 "He has removed my brothers far from me, And my acquaintances are completely estranged from me.
19:14 My relatives have failed, And my close friends have forgotten me.
19:15 Those who dwell in my house, and my maidservants, Count me as a stranger; I am an alien in their sight.

19:16 I call my servant, but he gives no answer; I beg him with my mouth.
19:17 My breath is offensive to my wife, And I am repulsive to the children of my own body.
19:18 Even young children despise me; I arise, and they speak against me.
19:19 All my close friends abhor me, And those whom I love have turned against me.

Job 19:7-10
19:7 "If I cry out concerning wrong, I am not heard. If I cry aloud, there is no justice.
19:8 He has fenced up my way, so that I cannot pass; And He has set darkness in my paths.
19:9 He has stripped me of my glory, And taken the crown from my head.
19:10 He breaks me down on every side, And I am gone; My hope He has uprooted like a tree
.

Job 19:20
19:20 My bone clings to my skin and to my flesh, And I have escaped by the skin of my teeth.

The consequence of being separated from God and other people is being in total failure and sufferings as well as being threatened by the death and everlasting perdition forever.

Job 1:1-3
1:1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God and shunned evil.
1:2 And seven sons and three daughters were born to him.
1:3 Also, his possessions were seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen, five hundred female donkeys, and a very large household, so that this man was the greatest of all the people of the East
.

Job was a great man, but he was permitted to experience the chastening from God.

Job 32:1-2
32:1 So these three men ceased answering Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.
32:2 Then the wrath of Elihu, the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the family of Ram, was aroused against Job; his wrath was aroused because he justified himself rather than God.

The weakness of Job was that he used his self-truth.
The self-truth means as follows:

  1. The truth which is outside the Bible.
  2. Covering sins by blaming other people, even God and the true teaching word.

Job experienced the full test or a slap from God so that he experienced the sanctification to the five senses, namely the five senses or the heart up to the inward man, the kidney, or the deepest feeling which is often not realized.

Job 19:25
19:25 For I know that my Redeemer lives, And He shall stand at last on the earth.

Facing the full test, do not be hopeless.
Then, Job could see Jesus who has risen.
Now, we experience the power of resurrection of Jesus to defeat the death or sin which is the heaviest burden of man. So, the power of resurrection of Jesus is able to help us from all of other burdens.

The processes to receive the slap or the sanctification from God are as follows:
Job 42:5-6
42:5 "I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, But now my eye sees You.
42:6 Therefore I abhor myself, And repent in dust and ashes."

Job sat on ashes. It means that he struggled with a broken heart until he could confess that he was only dust and ashes. We also confess that we have many weaknesses, we are powerless, unworthy, and not precious, or we cannot do anything
So, we can see Jesus as the Savior who has risen. We stretch out our hand to God and only hope to His mercy. So, Jesus who has risen will stretch out His hand with the power of resurrection to heal us doubly.

Acts 12:21-23
12:21 So on a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat on his throne and gave an oration to them.
12:22 And the people kept shouting, "The voice of a god and not of a man!"

12:23 Then immediately an angel of the Lord struck him, because he did not give glory to God. And he was eaten by worms and died.

We must be watchful, because Herod did not want to sit on the ashes but on the throne. It refers to the arrogance.
He rejected the voice of God which was entrusted by God to an angel or pastor. He thought that the voice of the flesh was the voice of God, so he was slapped by God's angel and eaten by worms to perish in the hell forever.

Isaiah 66:24
66:24 "And they shall go forth and look Upon the corpses of the men Who have transgressed against Me. For their worm does not die, And their fire is not quenched. They shall be an abhorrence to all flesh.".

Isaiah 14:11
14:11 Your pomp is brought down to Sheol, And the sound of your stringed instruments; The maggot is spread under you, And worms cover you.'

Jacob was willingly slapped by God until he humbled himself and confessed that he was only a worm.
Isaiah 41:14
41:14 "Fear not, you worm Jacob, You men of Israel! I will help you," says the LORD And your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

Jacob had a struggling to face Esau. It refers to the stress in all aspects.
He also had a struggling for the salvation of his family. It refers to the temptations in all aspects, the impossible ones, until to face Antichrist who will rule over the earth for three and a half years and to get a new name to enter the New Jerusalem.

Genesis 28:10,12
28:10 Now Jacob went out from Beersheba and went toward Haran
28:12 Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.

Jacob was in the company of the angel, namely the true shepherding. He experienced the sanctification until he confessed that he was only like a worm or he was unworthy, powerless, unable, and only to be destroyed.

Hosea 12:3-6
12:3 He took his brother by the heel in the womb, And in his strength he struggled with God.
12:4 Yes, he struggled with the Angel and prevailed; He wept, and sought favor from Him. He found Him in Bethel, And there He spoke to us--
12:5 That is, the LORD God of hosts. The LORD is His memorable name.
12:6 So you, by the help of your God, return; Observe mercy and justice, And wait on your God continually.

We struggle with a broken heart to be obedient and faithful. We see God who has risen. We only stretch out our hand to God and He will stretch out His hand with the power of resurrection.
As a result, we get a new name from Jacob or the cheater to Israel of the winner.
Genesis 32:28
32:28 And He said, "Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel;for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed."

We struggled until we are honest. We say yes if yes and no if no. When the spiritual miracle happens, the physical miracle also happens. The fear and stress become peace and all things become easy and light. All families of Jacob were saved. All problems are finished. We are preserved from now until the time when Antichrist rules over the world.
When Jesus comes for the second time, we are changed to be as glorious as Him. We are set free from the world to meet Jesus on the glorious clouds and enter the New Jerusalem.

God blesses you.
