Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Let us enter 2020 with the eternal Word of God so that every step of our life goes to the eternal life.
Revelation 10:810:8 Then the voice which I heard from heaven spoke to me again and said, "Go, take the little book which is openin the hand of the angelwho stands on the sea and on the earth."The angel refers to the pastor. The open little book refers to the revelation of the Word.
Thus, Jesus, the Great Shepherd, entrusts the revelation of the Word to a pastor. The shepherding Word refers to the true teaching Word which is entrusted by God to a pastor that he may preach to the congregation faithfully, continually, regularly, and repetitively to be the following things:
- The command for the congregation to make them know the things which must be done or not, so they will not fall in sins. It also gives the congregation the direction of the spiritual journey towards the New Jerusalem so that they will not go astray.
- The spiritual food for the congregation with two kinds of taste, namely sweet and bitter, to grow or increase the spirituality.
Revelation 10:910:9 So I went to the angel and said to him, "Give me the little book." And he said to me, "Take and eat it; and it will make your stomach bitter, but it will be as sweet as honey in your mouth."Revelation 11:111:1Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the angel stood, saying, "Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there. The shepherding Word is the same as the rod of the shepherd or measuring rod to measure our spirituality (not for judging others) to reach the measurement of God up to the perfection.
Why must our spirituality be measured or increased up to the perfection?
Revelation 11:211:2"But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city underfoot for forty-two months. Our spirituality must be measured or increased up to the perfection because we will face the shakings in all aspects in the next years which will increase until they are beyond our mind up to the peak, namely when the antichrist reigns over the world for three and a half years.
If the spirituality does neither increase nor reach the measure, one will be shaken surely and persecuted by the Antichrist. There will be two possibilities as follows:
- A little part or only few people do not want to worship the Antichrist because of keeping on worshiping Jesus. Consequently, they are trampled by the Antichrist and persecuted with the persecution which is beyond the mind of human until being beheaded, but they will be resurrected when Jesus comes a second time.
- Many people deny Jesus and worship the Antichrist. As a result, they are not trampled by the Antichrist; even they trample the sons of God and become the same as the Antichrist. They will be destroyed when Jesus comes a second time.
We must pay attention to the following three things so that we do not enter the persecution of the Antichrist for three and a half years and perish:
- We must ask for and eat the open little book.
Revelation 10:8-9
10:8Then the voice which I heard from heaven spoke to me again and said, "Go, take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel who stands on the sea and on the earth."
10:9 So I went to the angel and said to him, "Give me the little book." And he said to me, "Take and eat it; and it will make your stomach bitter, but it will be as sweet as honey in your mouth."
Asking is the same as prayingto hope the revelation of the Word of God or the shepherding Word as the spiritual food.
The matter of asking for refers to an urgent need like a dog licking the crumbs, so the bitter thing can be tasted sweet or we can enjoy consuming the shepherding Word. Our life will become sweet little by little.
If we ask, God will give us the revelation of the Word to eat.
Eating is the same as hearingthe shepherding Word seriously with a need until we can obey it. Being able to hear and obey the shepherding Word is the same as being shepherding well and correctly.
The requirements of being shepherded well and correctly are as follows:
- Always dwelling in the sheepfold or the Holy Placeor having the perseverance in doing the three main services to God as follows:
- The Golden Candlestick or perseverance in doing the General Service.
- The Table of Showbread or the perseverance in doing the Bible Study Service with the Holy Communion.
- The Golden Altar of Incense or the perseverance in doing the Prayer Service.
- Hearing and obeying the shepherding Word.
We get the sanctification to our heart (inward man) and mouth (outward man) or our body, soul, and spirit.
1 Corinthians 5:11
5:11But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is (1)sexually immoral, or (2)covetous, or an (3)idolater, or a (4)reviler, or a (5)drunkard, or an (6)extortioner--not even to eat with such a person.
It is the same as the sanctification from the six ingrained sins as follows:
- The sins which bind the body are sexual immorality (marrying-being given in marriage, fornication, wrong marriage), drunkenness (the sins concerning eating-drinking such as smoking, getting drunk, and drugs abuse).
- The sins which bind the soul are covetousness (not being able to give to the work of God and others who are in need), slander (the right thing is said false and vice versa), and lie or deceit.
- The sin which binds the spirit is idolatry or not believing/hoping God, but the things like money, position, man, Satan, and so on.
Thus, the sanctification to the body, soul, and spirit by the shepherding Word which is repeated in the sheepfold must be until there is no idol anymore. We only believe and hope God. We rely only on Him. We only see him.
Deuteronomy 32:10-12
32:10"He found him in a desert land And in the wasteland, a howling wilderness; He encircled him, He instructed him, He kept him as the apple of His eye.
32:11 As an eagle stirs up its nest, Hovers over its young, Spreading out its wings, taking them up, Carrying them on its wings,
32:12 So the LORD alone led him, And there was no foreign god with him.
Like the Israelites who had to pass the wilderness in their journey to Canaan or the promise land, God lets the church on the last days live in the world which is like the wilderness in the journey to the New Jerusalem.
Actually, God has created a good world. Nevertheless, it has been corrupted by Satan, so it becomes the dry wilderness with many beasts.
God lets it happen to make us be shepherded well and correctly in the sheepfold. We can have the perseverance in doing the three main services to God as well as hear and obey the shepherding Word, so our body, soul, and spirit are sanctified until there is no idol anymore. We only rely on, believe, hope, and see God. As a result, God also looks at us and pays attention to us like the apple of His eyes, so He bears us on the wings of a great eagle which are like the embrace of His merciful hands.
Where can we get the wings of a great eagle from? We get them through the test, shaking, or storm in the sea of the world like a young eagle which learns to fly through being shaken in the nest until it falls to grow the wings.
God will bear us on the wings of a great eagle to bring us passing through the storm of the sea of the world or the temptations as follows:
- The sins up to the peak, namely the sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage which come suddenly. By the two wings of a great eagle, we can keep on living in righteousness and holiness.
- The destruction of marriage and children. It begins from quarrel, violence, sexual affairs, divorce, and so on.
We must face it with faithfulness as well as confessing and forgiving one another. As a result, there is quietness in the household. The blessings of God will come. On the contrary, the flood will come if there is quarrel.
- The false teachings and gossips. We must face them with holding fast the true teaching Word or being on God's side.
- The impossible problems which are outside human's mind. God is able to finish all impossible problems right in His time. He is able to make destroyed things good.
Revelation 10:11
10:11And he said to me, "You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings."
After asking for and eating the shepherding Word, we must testify to others because there are many people who have not known the shepherding or the true teaching Word.
- We must fulfill the measurement of the temple of God.
Revelation 11:1
11:1Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the angel stood, saying, "Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there.
1 Corinthians 3:16
3:16Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
The temple of God refers to our life, whom God has bought or redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20
6:19Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
6:20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.
The temple of God also refers to the house of prayer [Matthew 21:13a] or the place for serving and ministering to God. Thus, we are redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus for serving and ministering to God. Our life is not our own, but God's. God deserves to receive our service and ministry to Him and we have to serve and minister to Him.
Ignoring or not committing the service and ministry to God is the same as owing the blood which cannot be paid by anything. It means the condemnation and perdition because of making God jealous.
Exodus 20:4-5
20:4" You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth;
20:5 you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me,
Song of Solomon 8:6
8:6THE SHULAMITE TO HER BELOVED Set me as a seal upon your heart, As a seal upon your arm; For love is as strong as death, Jealousy as cruel as the grave; Its flames are flames of fire, A most vehement flame.
The jealousy of God is the same as the the fire of the hell. Thus, ignoring or not committing the service and ministry to God is the same as putting oneself into the fire of the hell.
The service and ministry to God are the seal or our promise to Him. It is the same as signing a contract with Him. It begins from the marriage, shepherding, and so on. Ignore or breaking the promise is the same as signing the contract with the death.
1 Timothy 6:6
6:6Now godliness with contentment is great gain.
The service and ministry to God must be with contentment or joy and there will be a great gain. It means that if our service and ministry to God can satisfy or please Him, He will satisfy or please us.
Luke 17:7-8
17:7"And which of you, having a servant plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he has come in from the field, 'Come at once and sit down to eat'?
17:8 "But will he not rather say to him, 'Prepare something for my supper, and gird yourself and serve me till I have eaten and drunk, and afterward you will eat and drink'?
The signs of the service and ministry to God which can satisfy Him are as follows:
- Girding or wearing belt. It refers to faithfully and correctly serving and ministering to God.
Isaiah 11:5
11:5Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins, And faithfulness the belt of His waist.
- Not insisting any right, but only doing the duty.
It is the same as giving food and drink to God as well as satisfying and pleasing the heart of God and other people. As a result, God will also gird Himself or faithfully and correctly serve to us for giving us the great gain, namely the two wings of a great eagle or His great merciful hands for covering us.
Psalm 17:7-8
17:7Show Your marvelous lovingkindness by Your right hand, O You who save those who trust in You From those who rise up against them.
17:8 Keep me as the apple of Your eye; Hide me under the shadow of Your wings,
The embrace of the merciful hands of God is able to miraculously preserve us who are small and powerless in the midst of the difficulties and dryness in the wilderness of the world. He is able to create something which does not exist yet.
For example, Joseph was put in a dungeon, but he was preserved and able to get the high position.
The embrace of God's hands also makes us warm and joyful.
- We must fulfill the measure of the Golden Altar of Incense or the worship prayer.
Revelation 11:1
11:1Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the angel stood, saying, "Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there.
The worship prayer refers to the peak of the service and ministry to God, namely being the house of prayer. We must worship God much more.
Not worshiping God, one will be the den of thieves or the place of the evil and unclean spirits.
The measurements of the worship prayer are as follows:
- Jesus said "Abba, Father" in Gethsemane Garden. It means honesty. Say 'yes' if 'yes' and 'no' if 'no'; 'true' if 'true' and 'false' if 'false'. Do neither hide something nor deceit.
- Silence or peace.
Revelation 8:1-3
8:1When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.
8:2 And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets.
8:3 Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.
We do not feel anything that the flesh feels like the worry, fear, hatred, bitterness, and so on, but only the love of God.
If we can worship God with honesty and silence, we will be near God.
Psalm 62:2-3
62:2Truly my soul silently waits for God; From Him comes my salvation.
62:3 He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved.
It is the same as being far away from the antichrist with his wings of abominations (evil, abominable, and despicable deeds as well as deceit, and so on). The wings of silence in the worship prayer are useful for fighting against the ones of abomination of the Antichrist.
Daniel 9:27
9:27Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate."
Being near God is the same as dwelling on the rock or the place of the eagles.
Job 39:27-30
39:27Does the eagle mount up at your command, And make its nest on high?
39:28 On the rocks it dwells and resides, On the crag of the rock and the stronghold.
39:29 From there it spies out the prey; Its eyes observe from afar.
39:30 Its young ones suck up blood; And where the slain are, there it is."
If we worship God, the two wings of a great eagle will make us fly high to the high mountain. Eagles fly high to the high mountains and make nest for breeding. It refers to a need. Let the worship prayer become our need or passion in the next year. 2020 is the year of worship and we get the increase of our spirituality up to the mountain of God. The results are as follows:
- The renewal like the youth.
Psalm 103:5
103:5Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
1 Peter 5:5-6
5:5Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for "God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble."
5:6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,.
It refers to humbleness and obedience.
The humbleness means the ability to confess sins.
The obedience means obeying the physical parents, the pastor as the spiritual parents, and God. As a result, the powerful hand of God will exalt us. All things become successful and beautiful in its time, beyond our mind.
- We see or appreciate the sacrifice of Christ.
Job 39:29-30
39:29From there it spies out the prey; Its eyes observe from afar.
39:30 Its young ones suck up blood; And where the slain are, there it is."
The food of the eagle is carcass. It refers to the sacrifice of Christ.
Isaiah 40:29-31
40:29He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.
40:30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall,
40:31 But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
We need the sacrifice of Christ to give us strength when our wings are weak. The sacrifice of Christ gives strength to ones who are in weariness, heavy burden, and toil. All things have been born by Jesus on the cross. Submit all of your weakness, powerlessness, and impossibility so that all things will be easy and light.
Ones who have fallen in sins can rise in the righteous and holy life anymore. Ones who have stumbled in the ministry to God can return to the faithfulness and fervency in spirit.
Ones who are disappointed and hopeless or have had an intent to leave God can be strong and of good courage anymore.
Revelation 12:14
12:14But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.
It continues until the wings of a great eagle make us fly to the wilderness, far away from the presence of the Antichrist. The wings of a great eagle will also lift us up to the glorious clouds. It means that we are sanctified and changed until we are as perfect as Jesus is and with Him, entering the New Jerusalem forever.
God blesses you.
