Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We are still discussing
Revelation 3.
According to Tabernacle Teaching, Revelation 2-3 refers to
the seven sprinklings of blood before the Ark of the Covenant.
It means
the seven epistlesfor the seven churches of the Gentiles or
the last sanctificationdone by Jesus for
the seven churches of the Gentilesor the congregation in the last days to make them perfect or without blemish like Jesus. They become the perfect Bride of heaven who is ready to welcome Jesus' second coming on the glorious clouds to meet Him, the Heavenly Bridegroom, forever.
God honestly confess the goodness of the churches in the last days. Nevertheless, one reproach will cause all things useless, even imperfect and they cannot welcome Jesus' second coming. They are left and perish. Therefore, we must have the last sanctification until we are without blemish.
There are
seven churches of the Gentilesthat experience the sprinkling of blood as follows.
- The church of EPHESUS(Revelation 2: 1-7) (it has been explained in General Service in Surabaya, July 27, 2014up to General Service in Surabaya, September 7, 2014). The church in Ephesus must return to the first loveto return to Paradise.
- The church of SMYRNA(Revelation 2: 8-11) that had to suffer. God said to them not to be afraid in the suffering, but faithful until death(it has been explained in General Service in Surabaya, September 14, 2014up to General Service in Surabaya, November 9, 2014).
- The church of PERGAMOS(Revelation 2: 12-17) that must leave the false teachings(it has been explained in Bible Study Service in Surabaya, November 17, 2014).
- The church of THYATIRA(Revelation 2:18-19) thatmust have the sanctification to the heart and deepest mind(it has been explained in General Service in Surabaya, January 4, 2015up to General Service in Surabaya, January 18, 2015).
- The church in SARDIS(Revelation 3: 1-6) that experiences spiritual revival and their spirituality is strong= being watchful(it has been explained in Prayer Service in Surabaya, January 21, 2015).
- The church in PHILADELPHIA(Revelation 3: 7-13) (it has been explained in General Service in Surabaya, March 8, 2015).
We are learning
Revelation 3: 7-13or the sixth church, namely
THE CHURCH IN PHILADELPHIA.
Revelation 3: 7
3:7 "And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, 'These things says He who is holy, He who is true, "He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens"
3: 8 "I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.
There are
three kinds of the Lord's appearanceto the church in Philadelphia (it has been explained in General Service in Surabaya, March 8, 2015) as follows.
- 'He who is true' = The Court of Tabernacle.
Jesus appears as the True to justify us.
- 'He who is holy' = The Holy Place.
Jesus appears as the Holy to sanctify us.
- 'He who has the key of David' = The Most Holy Place.
We still discuss the third, namely
JESUS APPEARS AS HE WHO HAS THE KEY OF DAVID.
David received or held the key of David, namely the one of the kingdom of Judah/Israel because he
was shepherded well and correctlyas well as
obedient and faithful.
Now, the key of David is in Jesus' hand. We commemorate the Good Friday or Jesus' death on the cross.
It is written in Philippians 2: 8 that Jesus is
obedient and faithfulto the point of death on the cross so He can also hold the key of David to open the doors. Formerly, He opened the doors for the church in Philadelphia because they were also obedient and faithful.
Revelation 3: 83: 8 "I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.'
have kept My word'=
obedience.
'
have not denied My name' =
faithfulness.
Now, the meaning of Jesus' death is to open the doors for us who are obedient and faithful. No one, even Satan, can shut it.
Matthew 27: 50-52
27: 50 And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit.
27:51 Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in twofrom top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split,
27:52 and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised;
'
yielded up His spirit' = Jesus dies on the cross.
There are two doors that are opened through the death of Jesus or the key of David as follows.
- The doors of graves.
Matthew 27: 52
27: 52 and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised;
The graves were opened means spiritually as follows.
Ephesians 4: 8-12
4: 8 Therefore He says: "When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, And gave gifts to men."
4:9 (Now this, "He ascended" --what does it mean but that He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth?
4:10 He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.)
4:11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
- 'He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth' = Jesus dies on the cross to deliver us from the captivity of sin or death.
Revelation 21: 8
21: 8 "But the cowardly(1), unbelieving(2), abominable(3), murderers(4), sexually immoral(5), sorcerers(6), idolaters(7), and all liars(8)shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."
We must be delivered from the eight sins bringing us to the fire of hell or eternal perdition as follows.
- Cowardly or the fear of something that causes one does not fear God or the true teaching Word.
- Unbelieving or doubt.
- Abominable.
- Murderes = hatred, even without any cause.
- Sexually immoral = sexuality sin.
- Sorcerers = shaman.
- Idolaters.
- Liars.
If there is the lie, the other seven sins will remain.
If we are set free from the eight sins, we will be set free from all other sins for sure.
- Jesus gives the ministries for usor lifts us up as the priests and kings in the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain, namely the ministry for building the perfect body of Christ or the bride of God.
Ephesians 4: 11-12
4: 11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
Do not become the captive of sin or death, but the spirit. We must be the servants of God.
The ministry is the same as Joseph's tunic of many colors.
Thus, ministering to God does not torment us, but gives us the beatiful tunic or beautifies our life.
We must be the priests and kings as the proof that we have been set free from sin or death, so that we are not captived by the death, our life is beautiful or not naked, we live in righteousness and holiness, and we do not enter the building of Babylon or the bride of Satan that will be destroyed.
Not entering the building of Christ's body, one will enter the one of Babylon for sure.
For you who have not ministered to God yet, please pray that by commemorating the Lord's death now He will open the way for you to minister to God.
For you who have already ministered to Him or worn the tunic of many colors, please be careful. Keep it by living in righteousness and holiness as well as faithfulness and fervency in spirit in doing the service and ministry to God until the end, namely until the physical death or Jesus comes a second time.
Do not take off the tunic of many colors, or else the destiny is the same as Judas who was ashamed and whose entrails gushed out. There was no beautiful life, but everlasting perdition.
- The Veil.
Matthew 27: 51
27: 51 Then, behold, the veil of the temple was tornin two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split,
The Veil is torn means that the Ark of the Covenant can be seen.
The Ark of the Covenant consists of these two parts.
- The mercy seatthat is made of pure goldwith the two cherubim upon it. (Exodus 25: 10).
The gold refers to godly substance. The more the gold is burnt, the purer it is.
The mercy seat consists of these parts.
- The first cherub = Father God.
- The mercy seat with the seven sprinklings of blood= the Son of God or Jesus.
- The second cherub= Holy Spirit God.
Thus, the mercy seat is God the Trinity in the Lord Jesus Christ as the King of all kings and Heavenly Bridegroom, Husband, or Head. We are the body, wife, or the bride of heaven.
- The ark that is made of acacia wood overlaid with gold inside and out, so the wood cannot be seen anymore.
Exodus 25: 10-11
25: 10 " And they shall make an ark of acacia wood; two and a half cubits shall be its length, a cubit and a half its width, and a cubit and a half its height.
25:11 "And you shall overlay it with pure gold, inside and out you shall overlay it, and shall make on it a molding of gold all around."
The wood refers to human. Being overlaid with gold means the church has been perfectlike Jesus to be the bride of heaven.
Around it there must be a molding of crown, so that the mercy seat cannot be separated from the ark, even it cannot move.
The mercy seat refers to the heavenly Bridegroom and the ark refers to the bride.
We musthave the spiritual molding of gold, so that our relationship as the bride with Christ or the bridegroom is very close, even cannot be separated.
There are three kinds of spiritual molding of gold God wants to give us through the death of Jesus as follows.
- HONESTY
Proverbs 3: 32
3: 32 For the perverse person is an abomination to the LORD, But His secret counsel is with the upright.
'His secret counsel'= it cannot be moved.
The honesty begins from these things.
- The honesty about the teachings or godly matters.
We confess the true teaching Word honestly and hold it fast.
We say honestly that a false teaching is false and reject it.
Titus 2: 7
2: 7 in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility,
Titus 2: 6-7
2: 6 Likewise exhort the young men to be sober-minded,
2:7 in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility,
As a result, we can be sober-minded in all things, so that we will not fall in false matters and we can become a pattern of good and right works. We do not pretend to do good things.
- The honesty in finance.
Hebrews 13: 4-5
13: 4 Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.
13:5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."
Verse 5 = honesty about finance means there is no stinginess and greediness.
Stinginess means one cannot give.
Greediness means seizing the right of God, namely tithes and offerings, and of others (by doing corruption, not paying the debt, and so on).
- 'Marriage is honorable among all'= honesty about marriage through keeping the righteousness, holiness, and onenessin the marriage, beginning from the relationship and engagement.
The husband, wife, and children must be righteous and holy, so that they can be one. Do not keep the violence, quarrel, and sexual affairs in the marriage.
There is no joy more than the joyful marriage and there is no sorrow more than the sorrowful marriage. The sorrowful marriage happens when there is no righteousness, holiness, and oneness in it.
The three things determine whether we are separated from God or not.
Hebrews 13: 5
13: 5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."
'I will never leave you nor forsake you'= a close relationship like the mercy seat that cannot move from the ark.
As a result, Jesus, the Heavenly Bridegroom, is covering us. He understands, cares, and struggles for us until he says"It is finished!"
The results of being honest are as follows.
- We become the house of prayeror our prayer is always answered by God who works and helps us.
Proverbs 15: 8
15: 8 The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD, But the prayer of the uprightis His delight.
- The Lord becomes our Helperto solve all problems, even the impossible one.
Hebrews 13: 6
13: 6 So we may boldly say: "The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?"
- THE FEAR OF THE LORD
Psalm 25: 14
25: 14 The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant.
'The secret of the LORD' = The mercy seat becomes one with the ark.
Proverbs 8: 13
8: 13 The fear of the LORDis to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouthI hate.
'the perverse mouth' = lie.
The fear of the Lord means that we do not sin; even we hate it and the lie. We live in righteousness and holiness.
It is written in Isaiah 11that we breathe with the fear of the Lord because there is evil unclean spirit causing lie and sin wherever there is the air.
Psalm 33: 18
33: 18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy,
If we live in holiness, the eye of the Lord will be on us like the two cherubim on the mercy seat that look at the ark. As a result, Jesus, the Heavenly Bridegroom, is covering us. He understands, cares, and struggles for us.
The results of having the fear of the Lord are as follows.
Psalm 34: 9
34: 9 Oh, fear the LORD, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him.
Psalm 33: 19
33: 19 To deliver their soul from death, And to keep them alive in famine.
- 'To deliver their soul from death'= we are saved from the death.
- 'to keep them alive in famine' = the Lord is able to preserve us until we shall not want like the saying of King David 'the Lord is my Shepherd. I shall not want'.
We shall not want means as follows.
- Physically, we are preserved abundantly. It means that we can always give thanks to God.
- Psalm 25: 14
25:14. The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant.
Spiritually, the Word is revealed more, so we are sanctified more until we are as perfect as the Lord, without any blemish.
- THE LOVE OF CHRIST OR HEAVENLY BRIDEGROOM
Romans 8: 31-36
8: 31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
8:32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
8:33 Who shall bring a charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies.
8:34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
8:35 Who shall separateus from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
8:36 As it is written: "For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter."
Why do we need the love of Christ? (verse 36) Because how great we are, we are only like the sheep for slaughterthat is powerless in facing the death.
King David also confesses that the distance between him and the death is only a step or a heartbeat.
Only the love of Christ that is as strong as the death is able to defeat the death.
From where can we get the love of Christ? From the cross of Christ.
Jesus has died on the cross to pour out His love to us. If Jesus had not died, He would not have been able to pour out His love.
How can we receive the love of Christ?
Through the crucifixion or tearing to the fleshby doing the Bible Study Service with Holy Communion and Prayer Service. The Prayer Service refers to the Golden Altar of Incense, the nearest tool with the Veil.
The flesh of Jesus is crucified and His love is poured out to us. If we crucify our flesh, we will receive His love.
The Veil is torn means that we are obedient until our flesh does not speak anymoreor we can love God more than anything.
It means that we are on God's side and He is on our side. The mercy seat becomes one with the ark.
Romans 8: 31, 35
8: 31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
As a result, our position is the same as John who leaned on Jesus' bosom (John 13) or there is no separation anymore.
Jesus, the Heavenly Bridegroom, is covering us. He understands, cares, and struggles for us.
The results are as follows.
- Jesus is able to give us all things by His sacrifice.
Romans 8: 32
8: 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
1 Corinthians 2: 7-9
2: 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory,
2:8 which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
2:9 But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him."
The Lord is able to provide the beautiful and successful future life for us. There is nothing impossible for Him.
David is only the shepherd of two or three sheep, not an expert soldier as his brothers, but he can be a king.
Moses, a son of a slave, is pursued by the death from his childhood and thrown away to the river, but he can be the son of king.
- Jesus, the High Priest, becomes our Pleader.
Romans 8: 33-34
8: 33 Who shall bring a charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies.
8:34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
It means as follows.
- He pleads us when we confess our sin and do not repeat it. We are not accused and condemned.
- He pleads us when we are silent while other people are accusing us in our righteous condition. God will show the truth. We are peaceful and the slandered will be condemned by God. We must not plead ourselves.
- The Lord gives us extra powerthat we can keep faithful and fervent in spirit in serving and ministering to Him. We keep on worshiping Him in all circumstances.
Romans 8: 35
8: 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
- We are more than conquerors.
Romans 8: 37
8: 37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
It meansthat we defeat the enemy that is stronger than us because God makes war instead of us. He solves all problems, even the impossible one.
Revelation 3: 21
3: 21 "To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
We get the last victory, namely
we sit with God on His throne.
God blesses us.
