Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 3:21-223:21 "To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
3:22 "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."'" The main and last aim of our following and ministering to Jesus is not the physical thing, but sitting with Him on the heavenly throne forever.
The bride sits with the Bridegroom on the heavenly throne.
We must be the heavenly bride or the perfect body of Christ so that we may sit with Jesus on the heavenly throne. We must enter the ministry of the building of Christ's body.
John 2:19-21
2:19 Jesus answered and said to them, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up."
2:20 Then the Jews said, "It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?"
2:21 But He was speaking of the temple of His body.
There are two kinds of building as follows.
- The building of the physical temple which is based on the Law, only for the original Israelites.
- The building of the spiritual temple or the body of Christ. The base is the death of Jesus on the cross.
Thus, there is a transition from the building of the physical temple to the spiritual one after the death of Jesus on the cross.
Commemorating Good Friday is the same as commemorating the death of Jesus on the cross, so we must enter the building of the spiritual temple or the perfect body of Christ. It is called as the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain.
The fact found in entering the building of the body of Christ is joining the true fellowship. It begins from the marriage, shepherding, inter-shepherding, up to the one perfect body of Christ.
The ministry for building the perfect body of Christ is described as the last journey of Jesus to Jerusalem in Matthew 21. He rode a donkey which refers to the Gentiles.
Judges15:1615:16 Then Samson said: "With the jawbone of a donkey, Heaps upon heaps, With the jawbone of a donkey I have slain a thousand men!"
Jesus rode a donkey to enter Jerusalem. He is using the Gentiles now in the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain to enter New Jerusalem.
The steps of a donkey being used by Jesus to enter New Jerusalem are as follows.
- The step of redemption.
Exodus 13:13
13:13 "But every firstborn of a donkey you shall redeem with a lamb; and if you will not redeem it, then you shall break its neck. And all the firstborn of man among your sons you shall redeem.
Every firstborn of a donkey must be redeemed with the blood of a lamb, or else its neck must be broken.
It means that the Gentiles must be redeemed by the blood of the Lamb of God or Jesus now, or else the neck is broken or there is no relationship with Jesus and salvation. The Gentiles who are not redeemed only live in sins and the curses.
1 Peter 1:18-19
1:18 knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers,
1:19 but with the precious bloodof Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
The Gentiles must be redeemed by the blood of Jesus as follows.
- The precious blood.
Revelation 1:5
1:5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood,
The facts are as follows.
- The precious blood of Jesus sets us free from the sinsbinding our body, soul, and spirit. The sins also make us not precious or cheap.
1 Corinthians 5:7-8, 11
5:7 Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.
5:8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
5:11 But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner--not even to eat with such a person.
The sins binding the body are sexually immoralor sexuality sin with all of its kinds, wrong marriage and so on and drunkard, including smoking and drugs abuse.
The sins binding the soul are covetous, reviler, and extortioner.
The sin binding the spirit is idolater. The idol is something we love more than God.
If we are redeemed from the sins binding our body, soul, and spirit, we will be able to live in sincerity and truth. Living in sincerity means that we hold fast the true teaching Word.
- The precious blood of Jesus lifts us up as the priests and kings or the instruments of righteousness. We become the servants of God who minister to Him faithfully and correctly.
Revelation 1:6
1:6 and has made us kings and prieststo His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
The preciousness before the Lord does not rely on the physical things, but the matter of being redeemed by God or living in righteousness and ministering to Him faithfully and correctly.
We can live in righteousness, serve, and minister to God faithfully and correctly only because of His trust and mercy which cost the precious blood of Jesus.
Be careful! We must appreciate the righteousness, service and ministry to God. Keeping the wrong things is the same as trampling the blood of Jesus. Such life is so cheap. He has no relationship with God, so he is dry spiritually. The neck is broken. One who is dry spiritually will look for the worldly satisfaction in the world and fall in sins up to the peak. It will be more terrible if the spiritual dryness happens to a servant of God because he will cover it and bring the amenities of the world in the church.
- The blood of the Lamb.
1 Peter 1:19
1:19but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lambwithout blemish and without spot.
It refers to the true and good shepherding. Thus, the Gentiles must be shepherded well and correctly after being redeemed, living in righteousness, and becoming the instruments of righteousness. The requirements are as follows.
- The colt and the donkey must be tied to the true Vine.
Matthew 21:2
21:2 saying to them, "Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Loose them and bring them to Me.
Genesis 49:11
49:11 Binding his donkey to the vine, And his donkey's colt to the choice vine, He washed his garments in wine, And his clothes in the blood of grapes.
The true Vine is Jesus Himself or the true teaching Word.
Do not hear two kinds of teaching, or else you fall to the false one like Eutychus.
Both the colt and the donkey must be tied to the true Vine. The colt must not be tied to the donkey and vice versa.
- Dwelling in the shepherding pen always. There are three kinds of equipment in the Holy Place which refer to the perseverance in doing three main services to God as follows.
- Golden Candlestick or perseverance in doing General Serviceto have the fellowship with Holy Spirit God in the gifts.
- Table of Showbread or perseverance in doing Bible Study Service with Holy Communionto get the fellowship with the Son of God in the Word and the sacrifice of Christ.
- Golden Altar of Incense or perseverance in doing Worship Prayer Serviceto get the fellowship with Father God in the love.
Our body, soul, and spirit attach to the trinity of God or the true teaching Word in the shepherding pen, so we do not become the wild and unclean donkey.
Esau is the example of the wild donkey. He often left the shepherding pen to hunt the meat. One who leaves the shepherding will hunt the flesh with all of its wills and lusts for sure. Esau had the potential as the firstborn son with his red skin or the repentance and the hairy skin or the anointing of Holy Spirit, but he lost the firstborn right. On the contrary, Jacob had no potential, but he could get all things because he persevered in the shepherding.
- The step of sanctification.
The Gentiles who dwell in the shepherding pen will always get the sanctification intensively from the paganism as follows.
- Wild donkey, namely not being shepherded or not obeying the voice of the shepherd as well as walking about until being deceived by the false teachings.
Job 39:5, 7-8
39:5 "Who set the wild donkeyfree? Who loosed the bonds of the onager,
39:7 He scorns the tumult of the city; He does not heed the shouts of the driver.
39:8 The range of the mountains is his pasture, And he searches after every green thing.
- The unclean donkey or the swine, namely the woman of Babylon.
Proverbs 7:10-11
7:10 And there a woman met him, With the attire of a harlot, and a crafty heart.
7:11 She was loud and rebellious, Her feet would not stay at home.
The signs are as follows.
- With the attire of a harlot, namely the garments which are not right because of showing the flesh.
- a crafty heartor there is no sincerity.
- loudor being talkative, commenting too much, and being disobedient.
- rebelliousor being stubborn and rejecting the true teaching Word.
- Her feet would not stay at homeor there is no peace, but weariness and heavy burden.
- The dog returning to the licking to the vomit, namely lie, gossip, slander, and words that weaken the faith of others.
- Worry about daily life and the future. It happens because one feels that he lives by the world or there is no Jesus as the Head. Consequently, he cannot be faithful and true, but stingy or he cannot give and greedy or he robs the possession of God and others.
Matthew 6:31-33
6:31 "Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
6:32 "For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
6:33 "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
- The step of surrendering.
Matthew 21:7-8
21:7 They brought the donkey and the colt, laid their clothes on them, and set Him on them.
21:8 And a very great multitude spread their clothes on the road; others cut down branches from the trees and spread them on the road.
It means that we can give to the work of God, especially for the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain until we can give our whole life to be used by God. It happens because we feel that our life relies fully on Jesus as the Head. Jesus as the Head has been dead on the Hill of Skull to guarantee our life. If we feel that our life relies on ourselves, we will be the wild and unclean donkey.
Thus, the revival of Holy Spirit is the same as the one in giving or faith. We only believe and hope in the Lord.
- The step of worship.
Matthew 21:9
21:9 Then the multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out, saying: "Hosannato the Son of David! 'Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!' Hosannain the highest!"
"Hosanna" is the form of supplication prayer. It is the revival of welcoming Jesus' first coming.
It has been increased in the book of Revelation that we will welcome Jesus' second coming as the King of all kings and the heavenly Bridegroom by saying "Alleluia".
Revelation 19:1-4, 6-7
19:1 After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, "Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God!
19:2 "For true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; and He has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her."
19:3 Again they said, "Alleluia! Her smoke rises up forever and ever!"
19:4 And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sat on the throne, saying, "Amen! Alleluia!"
19:6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, "Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!
19:7 "Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready."
Why do we have to worship Jesus?
- To make us endure in facing the sprinkling of blood.
- To experience the life renewal from the fleshly men to the spiritual ones like Jesus until we can sit with him on the New Jerusalem.
Matthew 21:5
21:5 "Tell the daughter of Zion, 'Behold, your King is coming to you, Lowly, and sitting on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey.'"
We can be gentle, humble, and patient.
Gentleness means that we are able to receive the hard and sharp teaching Word as well as forgive and forget the sins of other people.
Humbleness means that we are able to confess our sins.
Patience means that we are patient in suffering without looking for our own way which is not in line with the Word.
If we are gentle, humble, and patient, we will get the rest and peace in Holy Spirit.
The functions of the peace of Holy Spirit are as follows.
- To face the weariness, heavy burden, disappointment, and hopelessness.
Matthew 11:28
11:28"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Holy Spirit is able to make all things easy and light, so we can love our ministry.
- To face the storm and waves in the sea of the world, namely the problems in economy, marriage, study, and so on.
Mark 4:38-39
4:38 But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, "Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?"
4:39 Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace, be still!" And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.
We must be silent and quiet facing the storm and waves.
Being silent means that we correct our life. We must repent if we find a sin. After being forgiven, we must not repeat the sin. We must keep silent and not plead ourselves when we are right. Pleading our life too much, God will not plead us.
Being quiet means that we control ourselves so that we can pray.
All problems will be solved in His time. All things are successful and beautiful in His time.
- To face the second coming of Jesus which is signified by the revival in the true teaching Word or the lightning with the dark valley.
Luke 17:20, 24, 34
17:20 Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, "The kingdom of God does not come with observation;
17:24 "For as the lightning that flashes out of one part under heaven shines to the other part under heaven, so also the Son of Man will be in His day.
17:34 "I tell you, in that night there will be two men in one bed: the one will be taken and the other will be left.
The dark valley refers to the sons of God who return to the days of Lot or the destruction in marriage and children. It happens until two people on one bed, namely a husband and the wife, are separated forever.
Let us struggle to keep on experiencing the sanctification until we are worthy to welcome Jesus' second coming on the glorious clouds. We sit with Him on the heavenly throne forever.
Luke 17:37
17:37 And they answered and said to Him, "Where, Lord?" So He said to them, "Wherever the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together."
The source of serenity, peace, and help is the Holy Communion. Facing the dark valley, let us receive the Holy Communion which is the source of our power to keep on struggling until the second coming of Jesus.
God blesses you.
