Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 5:5-10
5:5But one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals."
5:6 And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
5:7 Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.
5:8 Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
5:9 And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your bloodOut of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
5:10 And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth."John the apostle wept much in Patmos Island because the scroll was sealed. It means that there was no revelation of God's Word.
We must also weep or fight for getting the revelation of God's Word or the true teaching Word because if there is the revelation of the Word, there will be the opening of the ways or doors in the world; even the door of the heavenly kingdom will be opened.
Who is worthy to reveal the Word of God?
- [verse 5] Jesus as the Lion of the tribe of Judah or the Root of David who has prevailed.
- [verse 9] Jesus as the Lamb who has been slain.
ad. 2.
Jesus as the lamb who has been slain.
John 1:291:29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!
John the Baptist saw Jesus as the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.
Thus, the revelation of God's Word which is related to Jesus, the Lamb who has been slain means that
the revelation of the Word encourages us to get the redemption by the blood of Jesus or the deliverance from sins.
Isaiah 59:1-2
59:1 Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear.
59:2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear.
Why does Jesus have to appear as the Redeemer setting us free from sin? It is because sin is the separator between us and the Lord.
The Lord is the Head. We are the body. If there is sin, the Head is being separated from the body. It refers to the spiritual death.
How is the way Jesus redeems the sins of men?
John 19:32-34
19:32 Then the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first and of the other who was crucified with Him.
19:33 But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs.
19:34 But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out.
He is the only sinless man. He has died on the cross with the four main wounds to redeem the sins of the house of Israel. The fifth wound is the deepest and the biggest one out of which the blood and water came for redeeming the sins of the Gentiles.
Thus, the sign of the redemption for the Gentiles is the blood and water.
- The blood means repentanceor stopping sinning to return to God.
- The water means the water and Holy Spirit baptism.
Matthew 3:13-16
3:13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him.
3:14 And John tried to prevent Him, saying, "I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?"
3:15 But Jesus answered and said to him, "Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness." Then he allowed Him.
3:16 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.
Romans 6:4
6:4 Therefore we were buriedwith Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raisedfrom the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
The true water and Holy Spirit baptism means doing the will of God. The true water baptism happens when one who has died to sin is buried in water with Jesus to be raised together with Him and get the new life, namely the heavenly one. If we enter the true water baptism, we will do the will of God and be set free from sin. As a result, the Head and the body are united. Nothing may separate them.
There are three kinds of God's will which are related to the connection between the Head and the body as follows.
- Being as righteous as Jesus.
1 John 3:7
3:7 Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous.
It refers to entering the Court of Tabernacleor heavenly kingdom.
1 John 3:9
3:9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.
The proofs of being as righteous as Jesus are as follows.
- Not sinning again. We live in righteousness.
- Not being deceived. We firmly hold the true teaching Word.
- We cannot sin.
Psalm 5:12
5:12 For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.
As a result, the righteous will be surrounded as with a shield by the blessings and favor of God. We are blessed physically and spiritually. We fervently serve and minister to God. We can prioritize the spiritual things more than anything.
- Being as holy as Jesus.
1 Peter 1:15-16
1:15 but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,
1:16 because it is written, "Be holy, for I am holy."
It refers to the Holy Place of Tabernacle. We can live holily in the Holy Place or the shepherding.
There are three kinds of equipment in the Holy Place that refer to the perseverance in doing three main services to God as follows.
- Golden Candlestick or perseverance in doing General Serviceto have the fellowship with Holy Spirit God in the gifts.
- Table of Showbread or perseverance in doing Bible Study Service with Holy Communionto get the fellowship with the Son of God in the Word and the sacrifice of Christ.
- Golden Altar of Incense or perseverance in doing Worship Prayer Serviceto get the fellowship with Father God in the love.
Our body, soul, and spirit attach to the Trinity of God in the shepherding pen like a branch that abides in the true Vine. We are surrounded as with a shield and covered by the Trinity of God, so Satan cannot touch us. We have peace in our life and we do not transgress the holiness.
John 15:3
15:3 "You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
We are sanctified by the Word which is spoken by Jesus Himself, namely a verse explains other verses in the Bible. It refers to the true teaching Word which is sharper than any two-edged sword.
John 13:10-11
13:10 Jesus said to him, "He who is bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely clean; and you are clean, but not all of you."
13:11 For He knew who would betray Him; therefore He said, "You are not all clean."
We must be sanctified from the sins of Judas Iscariot, namely the dirty heart and feet.
Romans 10:15
10:15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!"
Judas Iscariot was an apostle who was trusted to bring the Good News and Bride Tidings. Unfortunately, his heart was filled with evil and unclean desires, so his feet were dirty.
Proverbs 4:27
4:27 Do not turn to the right or the left; Remove your foot from evil.
The dirty feet refer to the evil ones, namely hearing the other teachings and gossips. The feet of Judas Iscariot stepped to the scribes who rejected the teaching of Jesus. Consequently, he was doubtful and left the true teaching and ministry. He did not attach to the true teaching Word anymore, but to money, until he became stingy and greedy. Stinginess means that one cannot give and greediness means that one robs the possession of God and others.
Proverbs 5:3-9
5:3 For the lips of an immoral woman drip honey, And her mouth is smoother than oil;
5:4 But in the end she is bitter as wormwood, Sharp as a two-edged sword.
5:5 Her feet go down to death, Her steps lay hold of hell.
5:6 Lest you ponder her path of life--Her ways are unstable; You do not know them.
5:7 Therefore hear me now, my children, And do not depart from the words of my mouth.
5:8 Remove your way far from her, And do not go near the door of her house,
5:9 Lest you give your honor to others, And your years to the cruel one;
The dirty feet are the same as the unclean ones, namely the sins concerning eating-drinking such as smoking, getting drunk, and drugs abuse, as well as the ones concerning marrying-being given in marriage.
Romans 3:15-17
3:15 "Their feet are swift to shed blood;
3:16 Destruction and misery are in their ways;
3:17 And the way of peace they have not known."
The dirty feet also refer to envy, hatred, revenge, and self-truth, namely covering sin by blaming others and God.
Ephesians 4:11-12
4:11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
If the Gentiles are sanctified from the dirty heart and feet, they will be equipped with the ministry and gifts of Holy Spirit to be used in the revival for the edifying of the perfect body of Christ. It continues until the house of Israel and the Gentiles become one perfect body of Christ to be ready for welcoming the second coming of Jesus on the glorious clouds. We are sanctified continually until we are as holy as Jesus.
The steps of holiness are the same as the miraculous ones.
Mark 11:3
11:3 "And if anyone says to you, 'Why are you doing this?' say, 'The Lord has need of it,' and immediately he will send it here."
All of our sacrifices will not be in vain. God will never forget them. He will return one hundred fold and add with beautiful and eternal life.
- Being as perfect as Jesus.
Matthew 5:43-44, 48
5:43 "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.'
5:44 "But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,
5:48 "Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
In the beginning, God created men to be as perfect and glorious as He is and put them in garden Eden. Nevertheless, they sinned, so they were naked and ashamed as well as driven out of paradise to enter the world, but they kept on sinning in the world. They were naked and not ashamed.
Matthew 16:21-23
16:21 From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day.
16:22 Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, "Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!"
16:23 But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men."
The only one way is through the way of the cross as follows.
- The sprinkling of blood or suffering in the flesh because of Jesus.
God lets us experience the suffering in the flesh with Jesus so that we can fall at His feet.
Revelation 1:17
1:17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, "Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last.
We can look at the face of Jesus that shines like the sun, so we can get the renewal from the fleshly man to the spiritual one like Jesus. We can love God more than all things. We can love other people like we love ourselves; even we can love our enemy.
- Holy Communion.
John 13:23
13:23 Now there was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of His disciples, whom Jesus loved.
Consuming the Holy Communion, we can lean on Jesus' bosom, cry out, and fully surrender to Him. We raise our two hands to God and He will stretch out His two merciful hands to embrace all of us.
Isaiah 52:13-14
52:13 Behold, My Servant shall deal prudently; He shall be exalted and extolled and be very high.
52:14 Just as many were astonished at you, So His visage was marred more than any man, And His form more than the sons of men;
Bad things become good. The failure is changed into success and beauty. We are changed to be perfect and worthy to welcome Jesus' second coming on the glorious clouds.
God blesses you.
