Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation chapter eight is about two tablets of stone.
The general meaning of the two tablets of stone is the love of God.
The meanings of the two tablets of stone are as follows:
- In terms of the experience.
Exodus 32:19
32:19 So it was, as soon as he came near the camp, that he saw the calf and the dancing. So Moses' anger became hot, and he cast the tablets out of his hands and broke themat the foot of the mountain.
Moses brought down the first two tablets of stone and broke them. It refers to the death experience.
Exodus 34:29
34:29 Now it was so, when Moses came down from Mount Sinai (and the two tablets of the Testimony were in Moses' hand when he came down from the mountain),that Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone while he talked with Him.
Moses brought down the new two tablets of stone and his face shone. It refers to the experience of resurrection.
So, the two tablets of stone refer to the death and resurrection experience or cross.
The foundation of our following or service and ministry to God is the cross or the sacrifice of Christ.
If the foundation of our following or service and ministry to God is the cross, it will be firm and tested, so we cannot be defeated and made stumble by anything. We can follow, serve and minister to God until the end line, namely we pass away or Jesus comes for the second time.
The daily facts found in the experience of the cross with Jesus are as follows:
- Suffering in flesh to stop sinning and return to God, repent, or die to sin.
1 Peter 2:21-25
2:21 For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps:
2:22 "Who committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in His mouth";
2:23 who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously;
2:24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness--by whose stripes you were healed.
2:25 For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.
It means that we do neither do sin, lie, nor repay evil for evil anymore, but repay good for evil.
- Suffering in flesh to live in righteousness in all aspects of our life.
After we have repented and lived in righteousness, we experience the power of the stripes of Jesus to heal the physical diseases such as the sickness of the body, economy, and marriage.
- [1 Peter 2:25] Being shepherded well and correctly refers to perseverance in doing three main services to God
In Tabernacle, the shepherding pen refers to the Holy Place. There are three instruments in it which refer to the perseverance in doing the three main services as follows:
- The Golden Candlestick refers to the perseverance in doing General Service to get the fellowship with Holy Spirit God in the anointing and gifts of Holy Spirit. If we live in the anointing of Holy Spirit, our lamp keeps on burning, so we live in the light, not in the darkness. We do not stumble and fall but keep on serving and ministering God.
- The Table of Showbread refers to the perseverance in doing Bible Study Service and Holy Communion to get the fellowship with the Son of God in the true teaching word and sacrifice of Christ. We become strong and do not fall or stumble in sins, but grow to the spiritual maturity.
- The Golden Altar of Incense refers to the perseverance in doing Prayer Service to get the fellowship with Father God in His love. We breathe in His love until the eternal life.
In the shepherding pen, our body, soul, and spirit attach to the trinity of God, so we cannot be touched by the trinity of Satan. Our position is like a branch which attaches to the true vine, so we are always sanctified, especially from the sins of Judas Iscariot, namely lie, the will of money, stinginess, and greediness. We are sanctified continuously, so we become the servant and the minister of God who are faithful and righteous. If the branch attach to the true vine, sooner or later it will bear sweet fruit and our life is beautiful. We can confess "My Father is the vinedresser" and "I shall not want." It means that God preserves us abundantly physically and spiritually until we can give thanks. We are preserved physically from now until the time when Antichrist rules over the world for three and a half years. Our spiritual life is also preserved so we can live in righteousness and holiness until we become perfect.
Psalms 23:1
23:1 <<A Psalm of David.>>The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
- In terms of the news.
The two tablets of stone consist of the ten laws of God, true teaching word, or the Bride Tidings.
We must receive the two tablets of stone. It means hearing and obeying to the true teaching word until the flesh does not speak anymore like what Jesus did until He died on the cross.
Matthew 7:24
7:24 "Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise manwho built his house on the rock.
The Bride Tidings which is heard and practiced will determine the direction of our following God, namely we are used in the edifying of the spiritual house or the perfect body of Christ. It begins from the marriage, shepherding, inter-shepherding until Israelites and the Gentiles become one perfect body of Christ. We make Jesus as the head, so we have the heavenly wisdom [Matthew 7:24].
Proverbs 24:14
24:14 So shall the knowledge of wisdombe to your soul; If you have found it, there is a prospectAnd your hope will not be cut off.
The heavenly wisdom is able to give the prospect and hope of the eternal life forever.
- In terms of the content.
The first tablet consists of four laws which tell us to love God more than anything.
The second tablet consists of six laws which tell us to love other people like we love ourselves.
So, the two tablets of stone consist of the love of God.
The love is the driver of our following God. The love of God is eternal forever. If the driver of our following or the service and ministry to God is His love, it will increase to the peak until the eternal life on the throne of heaven forever.
Revelation 8:1-3
8:1 When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.
8:2 And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets.
8:3 Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.
If the foundation is strong and the direction is right, our position will be the same as John, namely leaning on the bosom of Jesus. We are in the embracing hands of God, so we can submit all of our weaknesses physically and spiritually.
The results are as follows:
- The loving hand of God gives us extra power so that we are not separated from Him although we experience seven things which are made by Satan. So, we become the candlestick with seven burning lamps and keep on testifying although we are only like the sheep for the slaughter which cannot do anything.
Romans 8:35-36
8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
8:36 As it is written: "For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter."
- The loving hand of God makes us more than conquerors. It means that we are the sheep for the slaughter which are weak and cannot do anything, but being victorious over the enemies that are stronger because the loving hand of God fights for us.
8:37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us..
For the example, David was victorious over Goliath and Moses was victorious over the golden calf or the idol.
Exodus 32:9
32:9 And the LORD said to Moses, "I have seen this people, and indeed it is a stiff-necked people!
Being stiff-necked refers to being hard-hearted, namely keeping the self-truth or lie.
The self-truth refers to the truth outside the Bible or covering the sins by blaming other people, God, and the true teaching word.
Exodus 32:18
32:18 But he said: "It is not the noise of the shout of victory, Nor the noise of the cry of defeat,But the sound of singing I hear."
Being lukewarm and in the crowd atmosphere like a market, but without sanctification makes one not fervent in spirit anymore to the spiritual thing or the ministry. Such ministry only magnifies the physical things. Consequently, one is vomited out like the church of the Laodiceans namely living in uncleanness as well as being disgusted and useless.
The leprosy refers to the desire of money like Gehazi's.
2 Kings 5:7
5:7 And it happened, when the king of Israel read the letter, that he tore his clothes and said, "Am I God, to kill and make alive, that this man sends a man to me to heal him of his leprosy? Therefore please consider, and see how he seeks a quarrel with me."
The leprosy also refers to the impossible problem. Nevertheless, there is no impossible thing for God.
- The skin of Moses' face shone.
Exodus 34:29
34:29 Now it was so, when Moses came down from Mount Sinai (and the two tablets of the Testimony were in Moses' hand when he came down from the mountain), that Moses did not know that the skin of his face shonewhile he talked with Him.
The loving hand of God is able to change us from the carnal life to the spiritual one. We have the peaceful heart, we are not disappointed or envious, and all things are easy and light. It is the same as having the cheerful face and being strong and courageous. We keep on surrendering and crying out to God, keep faithful and fervent in spirit in serving and ministering to God, and keep strong to wait the second coming of Jesus.
Psalms 27:14
27:14 Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!
God will perform miracle to renew us continually. The physical miracle will also happen. The impossible things become possible until we are as perfect as Him. Our face is cheerful like the sunshine to welcome the second coming of Jesus on the glorious clouds.
God blesses you.
