CHILD SUBMISSION SERVICE

1 Peter 2:1-2
2:1 Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking,
2:
2 as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby,

A newborn baby is an illustration that there is a new birth in God. All of us are born physically, but we must experience new birth in God. Without it, we cannot see and enter the Heaven.

There are two signs of being newly born as follows.

  1. Having a sincere heart.
It means laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking.

  2. Always longing for pure and spiritual milk, not the other.
Pure and spiritual milk refers to the shepherding Word.

With these two signs, one who is newly born can be shepherded.

In the Holy Bible, being shepherded is started from man (husband) who sits down on the grass. Later, his wife and children will join with him to sit down on the grass.
Sitting down on the grass means surrendering our life inside the merciful hands of the High Priest. The results are as follows.

  • The merciful hands of God are able to care our life abundantly.
Actually there are only five loaves and two fishes, but inside the hands of the High Priest, 5000 people may eat.
Living in abundance means we can always give thank to God.

  • The merciful hands of God are able to heal the sickness and help us from all problems, even the impossible ones.
    Matthew 14:14
14:14 And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick.

  • The merciful hands of God lead us to the throne of New Jerusalem.
    Revelation 7:17
7:17 for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

GENERAL SERVICE
Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We will continue in the book of Revelation.

It consists of two parts as follows.

  1. Four gospels that consist of:

    • Gospel of Matthew that presents Jesus as King of kings and Heavenly bridegroom.
    • Gospel of Mark that presents Jesus as the Servant.
    • Gospel of Luke that presents Jesus as Man.
    • Gospel of John that presents Jesus as the Son of God.

  2. Epistles, started from Acts to Revelation. They present the church of God or the body of Christ, that equals to the bride of God.

We have learnt gospel of Matthew that presents Jesus as King of kings and Heavenly bridegroom.

Matthew 28:20
28:20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, evento the end of the age.” Amen.

The end of gospel of Matthew presents Jesus as King of kings who is with us always even to the end of the age. Thus, we will be presented as the Heavenly bride who sits together with Him on the throne of Heaven forever.

Now, we learn the book of Revelation that presents the church of God as the Heavenly bride.
The book of Revelation is written by John the apostle. He writes last five books in the Bible, those are gospel of John, the first, second, and third epistle of John, and the book of Revelation.

Moses writes the first five books in the bible, those are Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy. Thus, the Bible is started and ended with number five.

Number five denotes five main wounds of Jesus to redeem our sins. There are two wounds in hands, two in feet, and one in His side.
Number five means the number of redemption. Thus, through the Bible or the Word of God, we know and get redemption from the sacrifice of Christ to justify, sanctify, and perfect us.

Romans 3:23-24
3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
3:
24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,

Hebrews 10:10,14
10:10 By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
10:14 For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.

The Bible (the true Word of God) is enough to perfect us.
Our attitudes to the Bible are as follows.

  1. Do not doubt the Bible or the true Word of God.
If one doubts the Bible, he will be deceived by other teaching.

  2. Do not add or take away any words from the Bible or the true Word of God. Do not change it. It is already enough and surely will perfect us.
Be watchful of the tragedy in the Garden Eden, where Eve adds and takes away words in the Bible.

Genesis 3:1-2
3:1 Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”
3:
2 And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden;

Genesis 2:16
2:16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat;

Eve listens the serpent or strange voice and opens her ears to it. Thus, Eve becomes arrogant. She does not remember that she is only clay. She also forgets God.

Eve takes away the word “freely” means she is deaf spiritually. The word “freely” refers to the anointing of Holy Spirit. Taking away this word means the servant of God preaches the Word without the anointing of Holy Spirit, so he is bound by time, regulations from men, the condition of the congregation, et cetera. The consequence is the congregation will be deaf spiritually, meaning they do not want to hear and obey the true teaching Word. They will be bound more in sins up to the peak of sins, those are sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage.

Genesis 3:3
3:3 but of the fruit of the tree which isin the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’”

Genesis 2:17
2:17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”

Eve adds the word “touch”, means she is mute spiritually. Now, the servant of God preaches the Word of God and adds it with knowledge, joke, poem, illustration that is not according to the Bible, et cetera. It only aims to touch the emotion and logic of the congregation. The consequence is the heart of the congregation never feels the touch of God’s hands. Their lives are not renewed but keep being flesh men.
If the pastor is mute, the congregation will also be mute, meaning they tell lies, they cannot bear witness even they gossip, and they cannot worship God.

If the Bible or the true Word of God is added or taken away, it will lose the redemption power so one will be deaf and mute spiritually or have blemish.

The consequences of being deaf and mute spiritually are as follows.

  1. Eve is naked and cast out from Garden Eden.
It means losing the ambience of Garden Eden and entering the ambience of curse.

  2. Suffering spiritual epilepsy.
    Mark 9:14,25
9:14 And when He came to the disciples, He saw a great multitude around them, and scribes disputing with them.
9:25 When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it: “Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more!”

    Matthew 17:14-15
17:14 And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying,
    17:
15 “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water.

It means moral destruction, falling in sins up to the peak of sins. It also denotes to destruction in marriage and children. Epilepsy also means having no future.

  3. In the last day, when Jesus comes for a second time, a mute and deaf life will not be able to hear the voice of Jesus the Heavenly bridegroom “Surely I am coming quickly” and to answer “Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!”.
    Revelation 22:18-20
    22:18 For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book;
    22:
19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and fromthe things which are written in this book.
22:20 He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.”Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

It means being left on Jesus’ second coming and cannot be lifted up to the glorious clouds, cannot enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God and cannot come back to the Paradise and the New Jerusalem. One who is left will be destroyed together with this world.

Mark 7:32-34
7:32 Then they brought to Him one who was deaf and had an impediment in his speech, and they begged Him to put His hand on him.
7:
33 And He took him aside from the multitude, and put His fingers in his ears, and He spat and touched his tongue.
7:
34 Then, looking up to heaven, He sighed, and said to him, “Ephphatha,” that is, “Be opened.”

God’s way to help the one who is deaf and mute is by putting his fingers (it refers to the anointing of Holy Spirit) in his ears and spitting (it refers to the Word that comes out of His mouth).
Thus, the fingers and the spittle refer to the Word in the anointing of Holy Spirit. It is the Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword.

Thus, God’s way to help us is through the preaching of the Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword. The process is as follows.

  1. The true teaching Word works privately (takes us aside), meaning pointing our sins and condition privately.
    Mark 7:33a
7:33And He took him aside from the multitude, and put His fingers in his ears, …

  2. God puts His fingers in our ears means no matter how hard the true teaching Word that we receive is, it is His mercy to help our life.
  3. The more the true teaching Word is revealed, the more God’s heart is opened to accept us in whatever our condition. It will help us, justify and sanctify us, until perfect us.

    Mark 7:34
7:34 Then, looking up to heaven, He sighed, and said to him, “Ephphatha,” that is, “Be opened.”

    2 Corinthians 6:11-13
6:11 O Corinthians! We have spoken openly to you, our heart is wide open.
    6:
12 You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted by your ownaffections.
    6:
13 Now in return for the same (I speak as to children), you also be open.

Our attitude is we must open our heart widely to receive the true teaching Word no matter how hard and how long it is. We open our heart to hear the Word of God solemnly. We understand, believe, and have faith on it, until we obey the true teaching Word. Thus, we will become the clay inside the merciful hands of God.

If our heart is opened, our eyes will also be opened to see God’s field, to be faithful and fervent in spirit in ministering Him and prioritizing the ministry more than everything.

If we can open our eyes, our mouth will also be opened, and “ephphatha” will happen. We can be right and honest. We can let “yes” be “yes” and “no” be “no”.

If our heart, ears, eyes, and mouth are opened, we will understand the secret of the book of Revelation.
    The results are as follows.

    • Creation power to create the things that have not existed yet, and to make possible the impossible things.
      Proverbs 20:12
20:12 The hearing ear and the seeing eye,
The Lord has made them both.

    • God is able to make everything good.
      Mark 7:37
7:37 And they were astonished beyond measure, saying, “He has done all things well. He makes both the deaf to hear and the mute to speak.”

It means the thing that is bad, failed, broken will be made good in His time. There will be good, beautiful, successful, and joyful future.

God will make us as the pot of glory for Him. We will be used in the revival in the last days, that is the revival of the building of the body of Christ. In the past, clay was formed to make men. But the deaf and mute spirit has destroyed them. Now, if we are willing to humble ourselves and open our heart, ears, eyes, and mouth, we will be formed as the first creation. We will be created and renewed as glorious as Him and be with Him forever.

God blesses us.
