Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 20:11-15 is about the last judgment or the Great White Throne Judgment.
Revelation 20:11 20:11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. Now, the heaven and earth are passing away [1 John 2:17] until someday they vanish away and Jesus as the Righteous Judge sits at the white throne for doing the two following things:
- The sin of not believing Jesus, who has died on the cross for redeeming and saving the sinful. The consequence is being judged and destroyed forever.
John 3:17-18
3:17 "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
3:18 "He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
- All sins which have not been confessed. Such sins lead to death.
1 John 5:16-17
5:16 If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin which does not lead to death, he will ask, and He will give him life for those who commit sin not leading to death. There is sin leading to death. I do not say that he should pray about that.
5:17 All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death.
The sins which do not lead to death refer to the ones which have been confessed, so we can know or see.
1 John 1:7,91:7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we willingly confess our sin, the blood of Jesus is able to confess all our sins and sanctify or pull out the roots of sin until they do not control our life anymore. It means not leading to death.
There are three groups of sins which cannot be finished, but must be accounted for on the white throne and cause men unable to enter the heavenly kingdom as follows:
- The sin which is the transgression to the Word of God.
1 John 3:4
3:4 Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.
Genesis 3:6-7
3:6 So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.
3:7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.
For example, Adam and Eve were disobedient. They committed sin until being cast to the world. The world is the part of the judgment or the hell.
- The sins which refers to something which we do not do to others who are in need although we have been blessed and moved by God.
Matthew 25:31-33,41-46
25:31 "When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.
25:32 "All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.
25:33 "And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.
25:41 "Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:
25:42 'for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink;
25:43 'I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.'
25:44 "Then they also will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?'
25:45 "Then He will answer them, saying, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.'
25:46 "And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."
It is the same as the group of the goat that lives in the shepherding, but it is egoistic.
[verse 44] The sin of egoism is often not realized. One who is egoistic feels not guilty, so such sin is never finished. Consequently, he must be judged in the hell.
Revelation 20:15
20:15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
The blessings which we have received from God are as follows:
- [Matthew 19:1-2] The marriage which is pleaded by God from the divorce which Satan always make effort to do to men, so the marriage is still one and we can be born in the world as a baby.
- [Matthew 19:13-15] Jesus blesses the children, so they are loved by God.
- Being able to believe Jesus, repent, and enter the true water baptism [Romans 6:2, 4] to have the new life, namely in righteousness.
- Becoming the priests who serve to God according to His will.
Although there are many challenges and hindrances, God always pleads and drags us to get closer to Him.
- [Matthew 19:16-26] We receive the physical blessings or riches and spiritual ones or obeying the will of God.
The flesh makes us feel that the command of God us difficult and unable to do.
Matthew 19:21-22
19:21 Jesus said to him, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me."
19:22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.
There is one command of God which is not done, namely giving to other people who are in need for setting free from the last bond of the Church, namely the will of money and being perfect and worthy to enter the heavenly kingdom.
What is not done is giving to the others who are in need or becoming the hindrance for entering the heavenly kingdom although there are many things which have been done.
Matthew 19:23
19:23 Then Jesus said to His disciples, "Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.
Although it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven, it does not mean that there is no opportunity to enter the heavenly kingdom.
Matthew 19:21,24
19:21 Jesus said to him, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me."
19:24 "And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."
Every time we hear the Word is the opportunity to enter the heavenly kingdom although it is difficult like a camel which goes through the eye of a needle.
Therefore, we must be little like Jesus on the cross. Although we are great, but we feel nothing like a child who has nothing.
Actually, the difficulty is not about entering the heavenly kingdom, but making our life little from all desires or lusts. Do not be like the rich man who did not enter the heavenly kingdom because of magnifying himself or being bound to the riches!
It is different from Zacchaeus, a rich man who could make himself little. He willingly climbed the tree like a little child for being able to see Jesus.
Do not make the blessings of God become the hindrance for entering the heavenly kingdom!
- The sin which refers to knowing how to do good things (from hearing the Word), but not doing it.
James 4:17
4:17 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.
The good deed which is waited by God is our service and ministry to Him.
Hebrews 10:25-27
10:25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
10:26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,
10:27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.
There are two levels of the sin of not serving to God as follows:
- Habitual sin, namely unfaithfulness in the service and ministry to God, but not feeling guilty or there is no regret.
- Intentional sin, namely leaving the service and ministry to God.
Such things will be judged and punished.
When we cannot serve to God because of a reason, we must regret it by asking the permission of the pastor, so we do not become the stumbling-block for others.
Thus, committing sin is the same as being deceived until losing the right way to the New Jerusalem and turning to the way to the hell.
Hebrews 3:7-123:7 Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: "Today, if you will hear His voice,
3:8 Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, In the day of trial in the wilderness,
3:9 Where your fathers tested Me, tried Me, And saw My works forty years.
3:10 Therefore I was angry with that generation, And said, 'They always go astray in their heart, And they have not known My ways.'
3:11 So I swore in My wrath, 'They shall not enter My rest.'"
3:12 Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God;The cause is the hardness of heart or not believing the Word as well as the evil heart. Falling from faith is the same as turning from following Jesus in the true teachings to the other doctrines or the false teachings.
1 Timothy 4:1-24:1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,
4:2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,On the last days, there will be the flow of the flood of the false teachings that attacks the Church until many people fall from faith or leave the right way of God or the true teaching Word to follow the doctrines of demons. The conscience is seared by the false teachings His life is possessed by the deceiver until it is difficult to return to the true teachings although many people have warned and willingly helped.
Therefore, we must always be in the anointing of Holy Spirit, so we have the firmness to reject the false teachings and hold fast as well as obey the true teachings. We keep on being on the way of God to go to the New Jerusalem. Obedience is the same as stretching out our hands to God to fully surrender to Him and be in His hands.
How strong we are, we will be destroyed if we are outside God's hands. How weak we are, the hands of God will be stretched out to plead and guarantee our life if we are obedient.
The results are as follows:
- There is guarantee for the physical life.
Deuteronomy 28:1-2,8
28:1 "Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.
28:2 "And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the LORD your God:
28:8 "The LORD will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the LORD your God is giving you.
God commands the physical blessings to preserve our life that is weak, small, and powerless in the midst of the increasing difficulties in the world until the time when the Antichrist reigns over the world for three and a half years.
- God sanctifies us from all sins, so we keep on living in holiness and loving one another.
1 Peter 1:22
1:22 Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,
Ephesians 4:11-12
4:11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
We are equipped with the ministry or the tunic of many colors to be used in the ministry for the edification of Christ' s body. It starts from the marriage, shepherding, inter-shepherding, and so on. Our life becomes beautiful before God.
- God opens the doors.
Matthew 7:21
7:21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
The doors in the world are opened. It means that all impossible problems are solved. God gives the beautiful and successful future life in time of need.
Luke 10:17-20
10:17 Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name."
10:18 And He said to them, "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.
10:19 "Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
10:20 "Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven."
It continues until the door of heaven is opened. We are obedient until our name is written in the heavenly kingdom. We are changed until being perfect.
God blesses you.
