ÂÂPeace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 6:5-66:7 When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, "Come and see."6:8 So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth. The opening of the fourth seal is the same as the fourth punishment of the world from the Holy Spirit. That is the revival of the pale horse, so Death and Hades have the power over a fourth of the earth to kill human in various ways.
There are three kinds of death as follows:
- The physical death because of age / lifetime, illness, et cetera.
Human is from and will return to dust, but the spirit will come to God who gave it. Meaning that after life, we all must give account of everything we have done, said, and thought in our lives in the world.
- The spiritual death.
Isaiah 59:1-3
59:1 Behold, the Lord 's hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear.
59:2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear.
59:3 For your hands are defiled with blood, And your fingers with iniquity; Your lips have spoken lies, Your tongue has muttered perversity.
It means being separated from God because of sinful words, deeds, and thoughts.
The practice is starting to get bored or unfaithful in serving and ministering God, and also in reading and hearing the Word. Physically, there will be unresolved problem, tears, and suffering.
- The second death, namely the lake of brimstone and fire or the hell forever.
Revelation 20:14
20:14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Every servant of God who died spiritually will enter the second death in the hell forever.
Death always threatens our lives, young or old, poor or rich.
1 Corinthians 15:25-26
15:25 For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet.
15:26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.
But, God gives us a safest place. He was willing to die, rise, and ascend to Heaven to put all enemies under His feet up to the last enemy which is death. The safest place from the death is under His feet.
The facts found in being under His feet are as follows:
- Mary anointed the feet of Jesus for His funeral. It means that we must be active in the ministry of building the perfect body of Christ.
John 12:3
12:3 Then Mary took a pound of very costly oil of spikenard, anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil.
It starts from marriage, shepherding, inter-shepherding, up to the perfect body of Christ.
- Mary sat at Jesus' feet and heard His word. It means being shepherded correctly and well.
Luke 10:39
10:39 And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus' feet and heard His word.
Goshen refers to shepherding that is the only safest place from death.
- Mary fell down at Jesus' feet, referring to worship prayer.
John 11:31-32
11:31 Then the Jews who were with her in the house, and comforting her, when they saw that Mary rose up quickly and went out, followed her, saying, "She is going to the tomb to weep there."
11:32 Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, "Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died."
Ad. 3. The worship prayer.
1 Timothy 2:1-2,8
2:1 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men,
2:2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.
2:8 I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting;
There are four levels of prayer as follows
- The supplication prayer.
The center is our need.
John 15:7
15:7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
The condition is that the Word or the will of God must be in our hearts. If we pray according to His will, it will be answered. But, do not be satisfied with prayers.
- The intercession prayer.
The center is others' need.
But, it needs to be improved because it is only asking.
- The giving of thanks prayer.
The center is the blessing we have received from God.
- The worship prayer.
1 Timothy 2:8
2:8 I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting;
Psalms 141:2
141:2 Let my prayer be set before You as incense, The lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
The center is God, so we can worship Him anywhere, anytime, and in any circumstances, even at the point of death.
John 4:23-24
4:23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.
4:24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."
The requirements of the true worshiping are as follows:
- It is encouraged by the spirit and righteousness, namely the true teaching Word in the anointing of Holy Spirit.
John 17:17
17:17 Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.
The true teaching Word sanctifies us. If our hearts and hands are sanctified, we will be able to worship God. If we are not holy, it is the same as worshiping Satan.
- It is a reflection of the worship in Heaven.
Revelation 19:1,3-4,6-7
19:1 After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, "Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God!
19:3 Again they said, "Alleluia! Her smoke rises up forever and ever!"
19:4 And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sat on the throne, saying, "Amen! Alleluia!"
19:6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, "Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!
19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready."
We worship Jesus as King of kings and as the Bridegroom of Heaven.
1 Timothy 2:8
2:8 I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting;
Particularly, the prayer of men refers to the one of husbands or shepherds. In general, it refers to a strong prayer that ascends to the presence of God as the incense smoke that cannot be hindered by anything. As a result, we have the power of the Lion of Judah to preserve and protect marriage.
1 Timothy 2:9-11
2:9 in like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing,
2:10 but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works.
2:11 Let a woman learn in silence with all submission.
The prayer of women refers to being in silence with all submission, meaning not teaching or having authority over men. It is related to the falling of Eve in the Garden of Eden. A woman can serve and minister to God in everything, except in teaching and having authority over a man. Submission refers to good deeds up to the ability to repay evil with goodness. A submissive woman is positioning a man as the head. It also means positioning Jesus as the Head. Therefore, there is honey which is the source of the sweetness in marriage.
If there are lion and honey, the riddle of Samson can be resolved. We receive the clean and bright fine linen to welcome the second coming of Jesus in the glorious clouds.
Revelation 19:6-9
19:6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, "Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!
19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready."
19:8 And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.
19:9 Then he said to me, "Write: 'Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!' " And he said to me, "These are the true sayings of God."
Beware / be alert, teachings will determine the worship.
Revelation 19:17-21
19:17 Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, "Come and gather together for the supper of the great God,
19:18 that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great."
19:19 And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army.
19:20 Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.
19:21 And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.
The false teachings will bring us to the false worship,
Psalms 95:6-7
95:6 Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.
95:7 For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture, And the sheep of His hand. Today, if you will hear His voice:
God wants a deeper worship prayer like Mary who fell down at Jesus' feet. We confess that we are only the clay in the hands of the Great Potter.
We can worship God with a contrite heart and in tears. We confess that we are clay, meaning we have a lot of mistakes and weaknesses or believe and have a faith in Jesus as the only Savior. We confess that we are worthless or being in silence and not fighting when we are trampled. We are patiently waiting for His time.
John 11:34-35
11:34 And He said, "Where have you laid him?" They said to Him, "Lord, come and see."
11:35 Jesus wept.
Together as the tears of confessing sin and faith are flowing, so are His merciful and graceful tears.
When faith is added with His grace, miracle happens. The spiritual miracle refers to be renewal of life, like the rotten Lazarus who could return to the life in righteousness and holiness. The physical miracle also happens, namely God is able to create from nothing to something or make something possible out of impossibilities. It is up to the last miracle that we are renewed to be as perfect as Him and worthy to welcome His second coming in the glorious cloud.
God blesses us.
