Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 6:7-86:7 When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, "Come and see." 6:8 So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth. The opening of the fourth seal is
the fourth punishmentfrom Holy Spirit God to the world.
It is the revival of a pale horse, so the death and Hades rule over a fourth of the earth to kill men with many things.
There are three kinds of deathas follows:
- The physical death. The causes are sickness, old age, et cetera.
- The spiritual death.
Ephesians 2:1-2
2:1. And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,
2:2. in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience,
It means sinning up to the peak, living in sin until being withered spirituality. One never experiences heavenly bliss, so he looks for worldly satisfactions up to perdition forever.
- The second death. It is the hell.
Revelation 20:14
20:14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
There is but a step or a pulse between us and death.
Jeremiah 9:21-22
9:21. For death has come through our windows, Has entered our palaces, To kill off the children--no longer to be outside! And the young men--no longer on the streets!
9:22. Speak, "Thus says the LORD: 'Even the carcasses of men shall fall as refuse on the open field, Like cuttings after the harvester, And no one shall gather them.'"
The death comes to palace, school, work place, or under the bridge.
The death also comes to all ages through false teachings.
1 Corinthians 15:25-26
15:25. For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet.
15:26. The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. The safe place from the death is under Jesus' feet.
It means as follows:
- We must work for the ministry of the building of the body of Christ.
John 12:3-7
12:3. Then Mary took a pound of very costly oil of spikenard, anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil.
12:4. Then one of His disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, who would betray Him, said,
12:5. "Why was this fragrant oil not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?"
12:6. This he said, not that he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and had the money box; and he used to take what was put in it.
12:7. But Jesus said, "Let her alone; she has kept this for the day of My burial.
- It is like Mary who sits at Jesus' feet and hears His word.
Luke 10:39-42
10:39. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus' feet and heard His word.
10:40. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, "Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me."
10:41. And Jesus answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things.
10:42. "But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her."
It means as follows:
- Being obedient to Jesus' word, namely a verse that explains another verse in the bible or the true teaching word.
- Being shepherded well.
John 10:27
10:27. "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
The shepherding word is the true teaching one that is preached by the shepherd faithfully and orderly in regularity to become food for congregation.
The preaching of the Word is successful when the sheep can be brought in the shepherding. In Tabernacle, the sheepfold refers to the holy place. There are three tools that refer to three kinds of main service as follows:
- The golden candlestick= perserverance in committing general service. We have fellowship with Holy Spirit God in His gifts; the sheep drinks to get fresh.
- The table of showbread= perseverance in committing bible study service and holy communion. We have fellowship with Son of God in the teaching word and Christ's sacrifice; the sheep eats to become strong and not to fall into sin.
- Golden altar of incense= perseverance in committing prayer service. We have fellowship with God the Father in His love; the sheep breathes.
In the sheepfold, our body, soul and spirit attach to God the Trinity, so we cannot be touched by Satan the trinity. We cannot become dog and swine again.
Ezekiel 20:37
20:37. "I will make you pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant;
In the sheepfold we are counted by God.
Mary sits at Jesus' feet and keeps hearing His word means that we must be shepherded in the true teaching word. It is the safest place from the death until we become God's.
Sitting means that we must be firmly shepherded in the true teaching word. We enjoy the shepherding as the safe and pleasant place.
Be Watchful! If we are bored and do not persevere in shepherding, we will go out from Nain to cemetery and our life will weary, be heavy laden, suffer, and be laborious. We will be neglected, meaning there is none who cares or is responsible for the salvation of our soul.
The cemetery also refers to the extension of the hand of death, namely all things that cause spiritual death, so we are not satisfied, but look for worldly satisfactions in the world and fall into sin up to the peak.
Mark 14:10-11
14:10. Then Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went to the chief priests to betray Him to them.
14:11. And when they heard it, they were glad, and promised to give him money. So he sought how he might conveniently betray Him.
Judas secretly had fellowship with the chief priest and the Lawyer to get money or physical thing.
It is the same as selling Jesus, so he could not be shepherded well and truly.
Consequenlty, he was destroyed. Judas hung himself. It is started from hanging the harp, meaning being unfaithful up to leaving the ministry.
Consequently, Judas fell headlong, burst open in the middle and all his entrails gushed out. It means losing salvation up to perdition forever.
How can we be firmly shepherded?
1 Peter 3:20-21
3:20. who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.
3:21. There is also an antitype which now saves us--baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good consciencetoward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
We must enter the true water baptism. We are baptized like Jesus is.
One who has died to sin or repented must be buried in water with Jesus and come out or rise from water with Him to receive new life. A new life means having obedient heart, so he wants to enter the sheepfold.
A good conscience is the gate to Nain. Otherwise, he will go to cemetery.
John 10:27-28
10:27. "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
10:28. "And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.
Being firmly shepherded and obeying the Shepherd's voice is the same as stretching out our hands to God. As a result, God as the Chief Shepherd will stretch out His merciful hand to us.
The results are as follows:
- We experience the power of redemption and lifting upto set us free from sins up to the peak.
Psalm 107:1-3
107:1. Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.
107:2. Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy,
107:3. And gathered out of the lands, From the east and from the west, From the north and from the south.
Luke 7:13
7:13. When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, "Do not weep."
We are lifted up from the valleys of tear, failure and difficulty.
We experience peace, so all things become easy and light.
- Jesus who is alone on the cross does great wonders.
Psalm 136:1-5
136:1. Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.
136:2. Oh, give thanks to the God of gods! For His mercy endures forever.
136:3. Oh, give thanks to the Lord of lords! For His mercy endures forever:
136:4. To Him who alone does great wonders, For His mercy endures forever;
136:5. To Him who by wisdom made the heavens, For His mercy endures forever;
Luke 7:14-15
7:14. Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said, "Young man, I say to you, arise."
7:15. So he who was dead sat up and began to speak. And He presented him to his mother.
Arise means the power of resurrection in spiritual life, so we experience the renewal of life. We can testify and worship God. We surrender all to God.
Luke 10:42
10:42. "But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her."
God blesses us.
