Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 21 refers to the shekinah glory or the light of glory in the arrangement of Tabernacle.
1 Peter 4:12-144:12 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you;
4:13 but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ's sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.
4:14 If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of gloryand of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified. The top of the cross experience or the death and resurrection with Jesus is the shekinah glory or the light of glory for changing the fleshly men to be the spiritual or glorious ones like Jesus is.
1 Peter 3:20-213:20 who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.
3:21 There is also an antitype which now saves us--baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,It begins from the true water baptism, namely one who has believed Jesus and repented or died to sin must be buried in water with Jesus and raised to get the new life, namely
the good conscience or the straight flat heart.
The signs are as follows:
- Being obedient.
There were only eight obedient people in the age of Noah who were saved, namely the four couples.
Disobedience happens many times in the marriage or household because of the mixture between the fleshly and the spiritual or between the sons of the world and the ones of God as well as between the true teachings and the false ones.
- Being set free from the evil desire, namely the love of money that causes stinginess and greediness, unclean desireor the sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage, as well as the bitterness of heartor envy, hatred, and revenge.
The good conscience or the straight flat heart is described as the following three things:
- As the pasture, namely being able to accommodate the true shepherding Word.
We can be shepherded well and correctly or enjoy consuming the shepherding Word, namely the true teaching Word which is entrusted by God to a pastor to preach to the congregation continually and repetitively as the food for the sheep to grow towards the spiritual maturity and perfection.
If the Gentiles are not shepherded, they will only be like the woman of Canaan as follows:
- Living like dog and swine.
Matthew 15:22-27
15:22 And behold, a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying, "Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed."
15:23 But He answered her not a word. And His disciples came and urged Him, saying, "Send her away, for she cries out after us."
15:24 But He answered and said, "I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."
15:25 Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, "Lord, help me!"
15:26 But He answered and said, "It is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the little dogs."
15:27 And she said, "Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters' table."
The dog licking vomit refers to the unclean words, lies, gossips, and slanders.
The dog licking sore means judging the mistakes of others.
The dog licking the blood of Naboth means the words which are not just to the righteous.
The swine returning to the wallowing in the mire refers to the evil and unclean deeds.
- Not having peace in life.
Mark 7:30
7:30 And when she had come to her house, she found the demon gone out, and her daughter lying on the bed.
The more evil and unclean the life is, one will suffer more.
What must we do?
[verse 27] The Gentiles must humble themselves as low as possible for appreciating and needing the shepherding Word seriously more than anything in the world. We can enjoy consuming the Word. The proof is being able to justify the Word and blame at our life or do the introspection in our life.
1 Peter 2:25
2:25 For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.
As a result, we get the double preservation, namely physically and spiritually.
- As the face of the waterthat is flat as the place to accommodate Holy Spirit.
Genesis 1:2
1:2 The earth was without form, and void; and darknesswas on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
Without Holy Spirit, men are like the earth before it was created as follows:
- Having no form. It means being without righteousness, but only committing sins.
- Being void, namely unsatisfied.
- Being dark, namely the fear or anxiety.
John 4:15
4:15 The woman said to Him, "Sir, give me this water, that I may not thirst, nor come here to draw."
For example, the woman of Samaria was never satisfied. Consequently, one lives in uncleanness and bitterness of heart.
John 4:9
4:9 Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, "How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?" For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.
What must the Gentiles do to get the true satisfaction from heaven?
John 4:10
4:10 Jesus answered and said to her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, 'Give Me a drink,' you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water."
Giving Jesus sourwine mingled with gall to drink on the cross refers to confessing sin to God and others as well as forgiving and forgetting the sins of others regardless of any risk we have to take. As a result, the blood of Jesus washes our sin away and He gives us the new wine, namely Holy Spirit, so we get the heavenly satisfaction that cannot be influenced by anything in the world.
John 4:39
4:39 And many of the Samaritans of that city believed in Him because of the word of the woman who testified, "He told me all that I ever did."
We can be the witness of the renewal which God has done in our life.
John 4:23
4:23 "But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.
We can worship God.
- As the level place in front of the mountain. It means appreciating the hill of Golgotha or the cross of Christ, so we can accommodate the love of God.
Luke 6:12,17-19
6:12 Now it came to pass in those days that He went out to the mountainto pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
6:17 And He came down with them and stood on a level placewith a crowd of His disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem, and from the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear Him and be healed of their diseases,
6:18 as well as those who were tormented with unclean spirits. And they were healed.
6:19 And the whole multitude sought to touch Him, for power went out from Him and healed them all.
Without the love of God, there are impossible problems and sufferings only.
What must we do? The Gentiles must do serious efforts to touch Jesus or worship Him to get the touching of the hands of God's love and power. The miraculous healing happens physically and spiritually.
When God has not helped yet, our faith is being tested so that it does not depend on the physical things. God is repairing something that has not been good in our life.
As a result, the grace of God works for finishing all problems in the world and perfecting us.
God blesses you.
