Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 20:11-1520:11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them.
20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.
20:13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.
20:14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
20:15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. The last judgment is the lake of fire and brimstone, the second death, or the hell.
When does it happen? After the One-Thousand-Year Kingdom of Peace, there will be two groups, namely the group to be judged on the white throne and the group to enter the heavenly throne.
What is judged on the white throne?
- All hidden sins in the heart of men.
Romans 2:16
2:16 in the day when God will judge the secrets of menby Jesus Christ, according to my gospel.
- Sinful deeds.
2 Corinthians 5:10
5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
- Meaningless words, lies, gossips, slanders, and blasphemies.
Matthew 12:36-37
12:36 "But I say to you that for every idle wordmen may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.
12:37 "For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."
- What we judge to others.
Matthew 7:1-5
7:1 "Judge not, that you be not judged.
7:2 "For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.
7:3 "And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?
7:4 "Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye';and look, a plank is in your own eye?
7:5 "Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.
We must not judge others. Why?
- One who judges others is a hypocrite because in him there is the plank or big sins, but he sees or judges the speck or little sin in others.
- Now is not the time for judging.
1 Corinthians 6:2-3
6:2 Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
6:3 Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life?
We will be with Jesus to judge the world when He comes a second time.
- One who judges others will be judged too.
Matthew 7:1
7:1 "Judge not, that you be not judged.
Matthew 7:6
7:6 "Do not give what is holyto the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.
Only one judgment is allowed, namely about the holy thing, pearl, or the true teaching Word. It means that we must be firm for preaching or testifying the true teaching Word, not debating with dog and swine or the people who do not repent, but become challenger to attack. We must be firm for receiving only one true teaching Word that is based on the Bible. Do not consider that all teachings are same! Do not mix them!
- All things which are not done for God and others who are in need although the Word has encouraged because of self-interest or being egoistic.
Matthew 25:45-46
25:45"Then He will answer them, saying, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.'
25:46 "And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."
The egoistic person will be dragged by Satan to get far away from heaven and closer to the hell.
One who does the will of God by the encouragement of the true teaching although it is painful to the flesh will be dragged closer to God. God will never deceive one also when He encourages him to submit his whole life for Him.
Philippians 2:19-21
2:19 But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you shortly, that I also may be encouraged when I know your state.
2:20 For I have no one like-minded, who will sincerely care for your state.
2:21 For all seek their own, not the things which are of Christ Jesus.
On the last days, many servants of God are egoistic. They do not sacrifice for the interest of God and others who are in need. Moreover, they sacrifice God and others for self-interest. Consequently, the life is in curse, weariness, heavy burden, toil, and tears.
All things we sacrifice for God and others who are in need by the encouragement of the Word will not vanish away, but we are saving in heaven. We get the atmosphere of heaven until we truly enter it.
Philippians 2:22
2:22 But you know his proven character, that as a son with his father he served with me in the gospel.
The attitudes of one who is not egoistic in ministering the Lord are as follows:
- Being faithful that is proven or has been the characteristic, so one does not want to be hindered.
- Always sacrificing the self-interest for God's interest and others who are in need.
- The relationship in the family, namely loving and helping one another.
This is the strong foundation for receiving the blessings of God. We are pursued by God's blessings up to the eternal life.
The place for judgment is on the white throne.
Revelation 20:12 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. Who will be judged? All sinful people, big and small, will be judged.
There are three books on the white throne as follows:
- The Bibleas the source of truth or the foundation for making the judgment.
John 12:47-48
12:47 "And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.
12:48 "He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him--the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.
The Bible refers to the sayings of Jesus or the revelation of the Word that is revealed by Holy Spirit through a verse that explains other verses or the true teaching Word.
Therefore, we must return to the Bible as long as we are living in the world.
- The books, namely the private book of man that records all things that we have done, whether good or bad (sin).
Making reconciliation now through confessing sin to God and others, all sins will be removed by the blood of Jesus, so they will not need to be accounted for on the white throne.
- The Book of Life, namely the book that contains the names of the people whose sins have been reconciled by the blood of Jesus.
Therefore, we must use the lengthening of God's patience when Jesus has not come a second time yet and we are still given the long age to judge our own life and finish the sins by the encouragement of the true teaching Word as long as we are living in the world. If we hear the true teaching Word much more, we will get the result as follows.
- The teaching Word points at our hidden sin, so we can realize, regret, and confess sin to God and others. Being forgiven, we must not repeat the sin, so the blood of Jesus removes all of our sins.
- We can obey or do the Word, so the teaching Word sanctifies us from the snare of sin in front of us and we can live in holiness.
Ephesians 4:11-124:11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,We are equipped with the ministry and gifts or the tunic of many colors for being used in the ministry for the edification of Christ's body. It starts from the marriage, shepherding, inter-shepherding, and so on. It is the same as placing Jesus as the Head. As a result, our life as well as our marriage will be beautiful up to the most beautiful one, namely entering the marriage supper of the Lamb, the Paradise, and the New Jerusalem.
Luke 10:38-4210:38 Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house.
10:39 And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus' feet and heard His word.
10:40 But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, "Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me."
10:41 And Jesus answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things.
10:42 "But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her."Martha was busy in her service, but without hearing the true teaching Word. It means having the will to be the head, so Jesus has no place to be the Head, but the serpent. Consequently, there are curses, weariness, heavy burden, toil, and tears.
Mary sat at Jesus' feet for hearing and obeying the true teaching Word or judging herself.
Revelation 1:15 1:15 His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters; The feet of Jesus are like the brass. It refers to the judgment.
Deuteronomy 28:2328:23 "And your heavens which are over your head shall be bronze, and the earth which is under you shall be iron.It is the same as placing Jesus as the Head.
Matthew 15:29-31, 34-3515:29 Jesus departed from there, skirted the Sea of Galilee, and went up on the mountain and sat down there.
15:30 Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at Jesus' feet, and He healed them.
15:31 So the multitude marveled when they saw the mute speaking, the maimed made whole, the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel.
15:34 Jesus said to them, "How many loaves do you have?" And they said, "Seven, and a few little fish."
15:35 So He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground. The results of sitting at the feet of the Lord and confessing as the clay which is unable and not worthy are as follows:
- The merciful hands of God are able to protect and preserve our life that is powerless in the midst of the difficulties in the world.
- The power of healing from physical and spiritual disease as well as in the marriage.
- The power to defeat the death.
1 Corinthians 15:25 15:25 For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet.It is the same as the power for changing us little by little. It begins from honesty, namely about the teachings, in confessing sins, and in all things. We become the house of prayer. Impossible things can be made possible. It continues until we are changed to be perfect.
God blesses you.
