ÂÂPeace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 6:7-86:7 When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, "Come and see."6:8 So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth. There will be three times of seven punishments from the trinity of God in this world as follows:
- Seven times of the punishment of seal or the punishment from the Holy Spirit God.
- Seven times of the punishment of trumpet or the punishment from Jesus Christ.
- Seven times of the punishment of bowl or wrath or the punishment from the God the Father.
The opening of the fourth seal is the fourth punishment from Holy Spirit God to the world. It is the revival of a pale horse, so the death and Hades rule over a fourth of the earth to kill men with sword.
There are three kinds of death, as follows:
- The physical death or passing away.
After we pass away, we have to give account to God about everything we have done in the world.
- The spiritual death. It refers to living in sin up to the peak, namely the sin of eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage.
- The second death. It refers to hell forever.
Revelation 20:14
20:14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
The Lord has not come a second time to make us repent, so we are free from the death and enter the eternal kingdom of Heaven forever.
The fourth living creature says
"Come and see."Revelation 4:7
4:7 The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature like a calf, the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle.
It was like a flying eagle. It refers to the life that is active and ready to wait and welcome the second coming of Jesus on the glorious clouds.
Therefore, in order to be free from the three kinds of death, we must be active and ready to wait and welcome the second coming of Jesus on the glorious clouds.
Revelation 22:18-2122:18 For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book;
22:19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
22:20 He who testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming quickly." Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
22:21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
"Surely I am coming quickly" refers to the readiness of Jesus as the King of kings and the Bridegroom of Heaven to come a second time.
"Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!" refers to the readiness of the perfect church of God as the Bride of Heaven to wait and greet Jesus' second coming in the glorious clouds.
So, there is a meeting on the glorious clouds or the marriage supper of the Lamb, namely the perfect marriage between Christ and His congregation.
The conditions to be active and ready to welcome the second coming of Jesus are as follows:
- We must receive and experience the work of the words of the prophecy.
- We must receive and experience the grace.
We are still learning about the words of the prophecy.
It is the Word of God that reveals these things
- About everything that has not happened yet, but will happen in the end time, especially about the punishment from God to the world.
- About the second coming of Jesus in the glory as the King of kings and the Bridegroom of Heaven.
It is the true teaching Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword. It sanctifies us to be perfect like Jesus and be the Bride of Heaven who is ready to welcome His second coming on the glorious clouds.
It is also called as the Bride Tidings to prepare us to be the Bride of God. We must be sanctified personally and in marriage as well. Marriage must always be sanctified from the beginning, during it, up to the end.
The attitudes to the words of the prophecy are as follow:
- The negative attitude.
- Grumbling to the words of the prophecy.
John 6:60-62,66
6:60 Therefore many of His disciples, when they heard this, said, "This is a hard saying; who can understand it?"
6:61 When Jesus knew in Himself that His disciples complained about this, He said to them, "Does this offend you?
6:62 What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before?
6:66 From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more.
It starts with criticizing or getting bored with the Word.
As a result, our faith is shaken because of keeping sin.
2 Timothy 4:3-4
4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers;
4:4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.
Men will retreat from the right teaching and follow other teaching which does not rebuke sin, but fertilizes it. It continues until becoming the same as false prophet.
- Rejecting the words of the prophecy.
Matthew 14:3-4,9-10
14:3 For Herod had laid hold of John and bound him, and put him in prison for the sake of Herodias, his brother Philip's wife.
14:4 Because John had said to him, "It is not lawful for you to have her."
14:9 And the king was sorry; nevertheless, because of the oaths and because of those who sat with him, he commanded it to be given to her.
14:10 So he sent and had John beheaded in prison.
It means rejecting the Word that sanctifies marriage, so they hate, slander, until becoming like the antichrist who beheads others.
- Adding or taking away the words of the prophecy.
Revelation 22:18-19
22:18 For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone addsto these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book;
22:19 and if anyone takes awayfrom the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
Psalms 119:160
119:160 The entirety of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever.
Proverbs 30:5-6
30:5 Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him.
30:6 Do not add to His words, Lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar.
Adding and taking away the Word is the same as becoming a liar like Satan.
So, a life that has a negative attitude to the words of the prophecy or the true teaching Word will be the same as Satan who will be swallowed by death forever.
Revelation 19:20
19:20 Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Revelation 20:10
20:10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
The attitude toward the Word determines our life destiny, whether we are free from death or swallowed by it forever.
- The positive attitude.
Revelation 1:3
1:3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.
The right attitude is to be happy when reading and hearing the word of the prophecy, so we can understand, believe, and sure about the Word. It becomes faith in our hearts. Then, we are happy to practice the Word.
1 Corinthians 14:3
14:3 But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men.
If we practice the word of the prophecy, we will experience its work to build, comfort, and advise us.
2 Timothy 4:2
4:2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.
The contents of the word of the prophecy are as follows:
- To convince our wrongdoings, meaning to reveal hidden sins in our life, marriage, and ministry to make us realize, regret, and confess sin. We are forgiven by the blood of Jesus and not punished.
- To rebuke, so that we can repent, stop doing sin, and return to God. Do not repeat sin.
If sin is repeated, the forgiveness will be canceled and the punishment still happens. Then, the true teaching Word will become a harder reprimand. There are two possibilities, namely becoming hard-hearted then rejecting the Word or having a meek heart to repent and leave sin.
- To exhort.
Psalms 73:24
73:24 You will guide me with Your counsel, And afterward receive me to glory.
The counsel is the guidance of the hands of God to take us to the New Jerusalem.
Revelation 7:17
7:17 for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."
Jesus as the Great Shepherd will take us to the shepherding in this world up to the last one in the New Jerusalem where there are no cries or death.
John 21:15-17
21:15 So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He said to him, "Feed My lambs."
21:16 He said to him again a second time, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He said to him, "Tend My sheep."
21:17 He said to him the third time, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?" Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, "Do you love Me?" And he said to Him, "Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You." Jesus said to him, "Feed My sheep.
There were three times of Jesus' question to Peter to help him who had denied Jesus three times. His body, soul, and spirit have lost the image of the trinity of the Lord. Peter only had the image of the trinity of Satan and must perish in the hell forever. Through the three questions, Peter was helped. It refers to the perseverance in doing three main services. In the Tabernacle, it refers to three kinds of equipment in the Holy Place as follows:
- The Golden Candlestick or the perseverance in general service to get the fellowship with Holy Spirit God in His gifts. We return to the image of the Holy Spirit by being faithful in service and ministry to God.
- The Table of Showbread or the perseverance in bible study service and Holy Communion to get the fellowship with Son of God in the teaching word and Christ's sacrifice. We return to the image of the Son of God by the double sanctification from any desires and lusts. We can be obedient until the flesh does not sound anymore.
- The Golden Altar of Incense or the perseverance in prayer service to get the fellowship with God the Father in His love. We return to the image of God the Father through honesty. Say yes if yes and no if no.
A life that is shepherded will truly be returned to the image of the trinity of God, namely a faithful, obedient, and honest life.
John 21:18-19
21:18 Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish."
21:19 Dan This He spoke, signifying by what death he would glorify God. And when He had spoken this, He said to him, "Follow Me."
It is the same as stretching our hands to God, meaning to trust and entrust wholeheartedly to Him or to surrender and cry out to Him. Therefore, God as the Great Shepherd will stretch His hands to us.
Romans 8:35-37
8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
8:36 As it is written: "For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter."
8:37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
No matter how great a man (including a servant or a child of God) in the world is, we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. We absolutely need the merciful hands of the Great Shepherd.
The results are as follows:
- The hands of the Great Shepherd are able to make us survive in facing anything. We are not disappointed and do neither lose hope nor leave God. We constantly live in the righteousness, meaning to be faithful and fervent in spirit to serve and minister to God. We constantly believe and hope in God, so we are in peace and all things become easy and light.
- The hands of the Great Shepherd are able to make us more than the conquerors. Even we are small and helpless, the love of God is able to make us more than the conquerors. All impossible problems are solved.
- The hands of the Great Shepherd exalt us right in His time.
1 Peter 5:4-6
5:4 and when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.
5:5 Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for "God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble."
5:6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,
God blesses us.
