Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 6:12-17
6:12 I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood.
6:13 And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind.
6:14 Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place.
6:15 And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains,
6:16 and said to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!
6:17 For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?"

The sixth punishment from the Holy Spirit is a great earthquake that causes the things as follows:

  1. Darkness [verse 12-13]
  2. Shakiness [verse 14]
  3. Fears [verse 15-17].

ad. 1. Darkness.
The great earthquake in spiritual meaning is the influence of the world with its bustle, pleasure, difficulties, wickedness, impurities, hatred, et cetera. It causes the sun to become black and dark. It is like living in the night, meaning there is no love of God.

John 11:10
11:10 But if one walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him."

Consequentl, he stumbles in sin up to the peak.

2 Peter 1:10-11
1:10 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble;
1:11 for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Moreover, one stumbles in the call and election, namely being unfaithful until leaving the service and ministry to God, so he loses the full right or the ticket to enter the kingdom of Heaven. It is the same as being destroyed forever.

Colossians 4:17
4:17 And say to Archippus, "Take heed to the ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you may fulfill it."

Through the power of the love of God or the shining sun, we are able to fully serve to Him.

Acts 20:24
20:24 But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.

Through the power of the love of God, we strive to serve and minister to Him until the end line, namely we pass away or Jesus comes a second time.

Acts 28:30-31
28:30 Then Paul dwelt two whole years in his own rented house, and received all who came to him,
28:31 preaching the kingdom of God and teaching the things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ with all confidence, no one forbidding him.

The Apostle Paul did not want to be obstructed by anything for preaching the Word of God.

1 Corinthians 9:25
9:25 And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.

The service and ministry to God are the same as a spiritual struggle or tournament, so it must be earnestly or fully done until the end line. As a result, we will receive the eternal crown and full right to enter the kingdom of Heaven forever.

The conditions of the spiritual tournament are as follows:

  1. To lay aside every weight, and sin which easily ensnares us.
    Hebrews 12:1-2
12:1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
12:2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

The weight refers to the sins that have been done, said, and thought.
To lay aside the weight of sin means to make peace, confess and forgive each other. If one is wrong, he must confess his to others. If one is right, he must forgive and forget others' sin. Thus, the blood of Jesus will settle all of our sins.

The sin that easily ensnares us is the snare of sin or the sin which is set by Satan on the usual path we go through to make us stumble and fall. If one falls, the snare of sin will bind and drag him to destruction.
    The examples are as follows:

    1. The love of money.
      1 Timothy 6:9-10
6:9 But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition.
6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

The facts found in it are as follows:

      • Looking for money in unlawful way.
      • Looking for money until being unfaithful to God and leaving the ministry.
      • Stinginess and greediness. They are the same as false worship.
Stinginess means that one cannot give for the work of God and others who are in need.
Greediness means stealing the possession of God (tithes and offerings) and others.

The evil desire is always together with impurity and bitterness.

    2. The false teaching that is not in accordance with the Holy Bible.
      Deuteronomy 12:29-30
12:29 "When the Lord your God cuts off from before you the nations which you go to dispossess, and you displace them and dwell in their land,
12:30 take heed to yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you do not inquire after their gods, saying, 'How did these nations serve their gods? I also will do likewise.'

      2 Peter 2:1
2:1But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.

Things that make us weary, heavy-laden, and destroyed are the weight and the snares of sin. If they are resolved by the blood of Jesus, everything will be easy and light. We will never leave our marriage and ministry whatever happens until the end line.

  2. Looking unto Jesus as the High Priest who sits on the right side of the throne of God the Father.
    Hebrews 12:2
12:2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

    It means as follows:

    1. Looking unto Jesus as the High Priest who is holy or looking at His mouth out of which a sharp two-edged sword goes.
      Hebrews 7:26
      7:26 For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens;

      Revelation 1:16
1:16 He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength.

It refers to the Word that is revealed, meaning one verse explains the other verses in the Holy Bible or the prophetic Word.

      2 Peter 1:19
1:19 And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.

It is the same as looking unto a burning lamp in the darkness. We listen to the Word earnestly until we understand, believe, become sure of, and practice it. The result is that we live in holiness or in the light, so we will never fall, stumble, and collapse forever.

In the right marriage, there are the people as follows:

      • A husband who loves his wife as he loves himself.
      • A wife who submits herself to her husband in everything. She has to worship God a lot.
      • Kids who are obedient to parents.

As a result, the darkness of basket or bed cannot enter the right marriage, but it will unite and be in happiness.

The light in marriage will continue be the one in front of people, up to the one of the world.

    2. Looking unto Jesus as the High Priest who endures or looking at His hands that bring incense and blood tha refers to the sprinkling of blood or suffering.
      Hebrews 12:3
12:3 For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.

Incense and blood cannot be separated, so we must worship God a lot to be steadfast in facing the sprinkling of blood.
Why must we face the sprinkling of blood? In order to receive shekinah glory or the glory of God. The more we face the difficulty or the suffering with Jesus, the more we receive the glory of God.
It renews our lives from fleshly man to spiritual one like Jesus. The renewal of life begins with honesty. Say yes if yes and no if no. An honest life will be used as the light that glorifies God. If there is the renewal of life, the physical glory or miracle will happen.

    3. Looking unto Jesus as the High Priest who is full of love or looking at His side which is pierced up to His heart that is full of mercy and goodness.
      Hebrews 4:14-16
4:14 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.
4:15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

      Psalm 23:1,6
23:1 A Psalm of David. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
      23:6 Surely
goodness and mercyshall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.

The practice is to be well-shepherded, meaning the perseverance in three kinds of main service.
The sun will always shine in every step of our lives. The heart will never stop beating. These are goodness and mercy of God in our lives.

      2 Samuel 15:25
15:25 Then the king said to Zadok, "Carry the ark of God back into the city. If I find favor in the eyes of the Lord , He will bring me back and show me both it and His dwelling place.

The usefulnesses of the goodness and mercy of God are as follows:

      • To preserve and protect us in the midst of difficulties in the world so that we live in peace.
        Genesis 19:22-23
19:22 Hurry, escape there. For I cannot do anything until you arrive there." Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.
19:23 The sun had risen upon the earth when Lot entered Zoar.

      • To help us right in His time and everything is beautiful in His time.
        Hebrews 4:16
4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

      • God is struggling with us to cast away fears and impossibilities.
        Genesis 32:24-25,31
32:24 Then Jacob was left alone; and a Man wrestled with him until the breaking of day.
32:25 Now when He saw that He did not prevail against him, He touched the socket of his hip; and the socket of Jacob's hip was out of joint as He wrestled with him.
32:31 Just as he crossed over Penuel the sun rose on him, and he limped on his hip.

God is also struggling with us for the salvation of our families. We also struggle for receiving a new name, meaning a renewal of life until being honest. The new name means that the name of the Bridegroom is attached unto us. We are renewed continually until becoming as perfect as Him. Thus, we enter the Future Paradise and sit with Jesus on the throne of Heaven forever.

God blesses us.
