Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 3:14-22 is about the church of the Laodiceans.
The church of the Laodiceans is the seventh church that refers to the congregation in the last days.
Revelation 3:16-173:16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. 3:17 Because you say, 'I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing'--and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked--The spiritual condition of the church of the Laodiceans is lukewarm. Physically they are rich and have need of nothing. However, spiritually they are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked.
Being wretched, miserable and poor equals to being empty spiritually because they do not want to be filled with the true teaching Word.
Being blind equals to darkness.
Being naked means being mixed with sins, being without the form of righteousness.
Genesis 1:1-21:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 1:2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness wason the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. The spiritual condition of the church of the Laodiceans is as the earth before it was created. It could not be occupied by men. Likewise, one with lukewarm spiritual condition cannot be occupied by God. It means he cannot become the house of prayer, but the den of thieves.
The sign of becoming the house of prayer is being fond of ministering, testifying, and worshiping God. Thus, God's blessings will be poured. If one becomes the den of thieves, curses will be delivered.
Revelation 3:18-203:18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, thatthe shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.God does not want the congregation that has been redeemed to become the den of thieves that is cursed and destroyed. Therefore, God knocks the door of our heart through His rebuking, counseling, and chastening to us, so we become the house of prayer.
To become the house of prayer, we must pay attention to three things as follows.
- Marriage.
Ephesians 5:31
5:31 "For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh."
The aim of marriage is becoming one flesh. The requirements are as follows.
- Fulfilling the obligation as a husband/ wife/ child.
1 Corinthians 7:3-4
7:3 Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband.
7:4 The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.
Ephesians 5:22-24
5:22 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
5:23 For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body.
5:24 Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so letthe wives beto their own husbands in everything.
The main obligation of a wife is submitting to the husband in everything. Submission equals to being silent, meaning not saying negative comments, not judging, not blaming the husband, not taking decision in marriage. Wife must correct herself through the sharpness of the sword of the Word, so she can cry out to God. Wife puts husband as the head.
Ephesians 5:25
5:25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,
The main obligation of a husband is loving the wife as himself and not being bitter toward her. Husband puts wife as the body.
If each one of us fulfills the obligation, husband will be the full right of wife, and wife the full right of husband. Husband and wife become one flesh that cannot be separated by anything. Accordingly, it will grow up to one perfect body of Christ.
Ephesians 6:1-3
6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
6:2 "Honor your father and mother," which is the first commandment with promise:
6:3 "that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth."
The main obligation of a child is honoring and obeying the parents. It is the guarantee of happiness within marriage and beautiful future.
The unity of the marriage of the parents decides the growth of the children physically and spiritually.
- Reconciling one another, confessing and forgiving one another. If we are forgiven, we must not repeat the sins. Thus, the blood of Jesus erases all our sins, and we can become one flesh.
Ephesians 5:31
5:31 "For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh."
Thus, watching the marriage is fulfilling the obligation one another, as well as confessing and forgiving one another. Hence, the marriage will achieve the spiritual marriage or the perfect marriage with Jesus.
Ephesians 5:32
5:32This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
- The house of God.
1 Corinthians 3:16
3:16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and thatthe Spirit of God dwells in you?
Each one of us is the house of God, meaning as follows.
- The place to minister and worship God.
- The place of Holy Spirit, so we always live in the anointing and are filled up with Holy Spirit.
Leviticus 21:12
21:12 nor shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the consecration of the anointing oil of his God isupon him: I amthe Lord.
The requirement is each servant of God must live within the Holy Place in the Tabernacle. Now, it refers to the shepherding pen. There are three types of equipment inside it that refer to perseverance in three main services as follows.
- Golden Candlestick refers to perseverance in General Service. We have fellowship with Holy Spirit God in the anointing and gifts of Holy Spirit.
- Table of Showbread refers to perseverance in Bible Study Service with Holy Communion. We have fellowship with the Son of God in the true teaching Word and the sacrifice of Christ.
- Golden Altar of Incense refers to perseverance in Worship Prayer. We have fellowship with Father God in His love.
In the shepherding pen, our body, soul, and spirit attach to God the Trinity, as a branch which abides on the true vine, so we experience intensive sanctification. The result is we can live in righteousness. We live in the anointing of Holy Spirit that encourages us to be faithful and fervent in spirit in ministering God.
Hebrews 1:7
1:7 And of the angels He says:"Who makes His angels spirits
And His ministers a flame of fire."
Revelation 1:14
1:14 His head and hair werewhite like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire;
A holy, faithful, and fervent in spirit servant of God is as the flame of fire.
The eyes of God are like the flame of fire.
Thus, a holy, faithful, and fervent in spirit servant of God is as the eyes of God. We are devoted by God, meaning as follows.
- Being cared and protected by God in this world that is as the wilderness.
- Being used in special task, that is preaching the Word in the house of God (to the saved lives).
Acts 13:2-5
13:2 As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, "Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them."
13:3 Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent themaway.
13:4 So, being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia, and from there they sailed to Cyprus.
13:5 And when they arrived in Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews. They also had John as theirassistant.
It means preaching the true teaching Word, the Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword, to sanctify saved lives so they enter the building of the perfect body of Christ.
We are used in the ministry of building the body of Christ according to the ministry entrusted by God. If one is not used in the building of the body of Christ, surely he will be used in the building of Babylon.
- Being the most holy or perfect as Him.
Leviticus 27:28-29
27:28 'Nevertheless no devoted offeringthat a man may devote to the Lord of all that he has, bothman and beast, or the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed; every devoted offering ismost holy to the Lord.
27:29 No person under the ban, who may become doomed to destruction among men, shall be redeemed, butshall surely be put to death.
Be careful, if one does not want to be devoted as the eyes of God, he will be under the ban and doomed.
If marriage has become one flesh, surely it will become one shepherding and one ministry.
- The house of prayer.
Matthew 18:19
18:19 "Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.
The requirement is agreeing concerning anything that we ask. It equals to having one heart. We can become one heart if we are filled with the same bread. On the Table of Showbread, there are twelve cakes that are set on two rows, six in a row. They refer to 66 books in the Bible, that is the true teaching Word.
Husband and wife become one heart if they are filled with the true teaching Word. The first 6 means husband is filled with the true teaching Word, so it is ingrained in his life. The second 6 means wife is filled with the true teaching Word, so it is ingrained in her life. If husband and wife become one heart, there will be one mouth and one worship.
Romans 15:5-6
15:5 Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus,
15:6 that you may with one mind andone mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 19:6-7
19:6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, "Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!
19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready."
It is started from one marriage, one shepherding, until the people all over the world will worship God on the glorious clouds.
1 Kings 9:3
9:3 And the Lord said to him: "I have heard your prayer and your supplication that you have made before Me; I have consecrated this house which you have built to put My name there forever, and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually.
If we have become the house of prayer, we will be able to accommodate God in three manifestations as follows.
- His eyes, meaning God cares, understands, and struggles for us.
- His heart, meaning God's love is poured so we can love Him more than everything and love the others even love our enemy. We experience the Heavenly joy that cannot be affected by anything.
- His name, meaning there is the power and miracle of God. The greatest miracle is life renewal from the flesh man to the spiritual one as Jesus. If spiritual miracle happens, the physical ones will also happen. The last miracle is we will be renewed as glorious as Him on His second coming. We are worthy to welcome Him on the glorious clouds. We will be together with Him forever.
God blesses us.
