Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 18 in the arrangement of the Tabernacle refers to the golden pot that had the manna.
How great a man is, he is the weak fragile clay pot, namely often being disappointed, hopeless, and broken because of sins up to the peak. Therefore, he must be filled by the spiritual things to reach the eternal life.
There are two things which can be filled into the clay pot as follows:
- Angel coming down from heaven bringing the light of glory to the world.
Revelation 18:1
18:1 After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory.
2 Corinthians 4:3-4
4:3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,
4:4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
It means the preaching of the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, the teaching Word which is sharper than any two-edged sword, or Bride Tidings that preaches the second coming of Jesus in the glory as the King of all kings or the Heavenly Bridegroom on the glorious clouds for sanctifying and renewing the Church until being as perfect as Jesus is or being the heavenly bride.
If the pot of our life is filled by the Bride Tidings through hearing and obeying it, we will get the sanctification and renewal from the clay pot to the golden one. It begins from being honest.
Titus 2:7
2:7 in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility,
It is especially the honesty about the true teachings of God Himself. We must firmly reject the different teachings. We must receive and obey the true teachings. It continues until we can be honest in all things. We can be the pattern in doing the righteous and good deeds until we can repay good for evil. We can radiate the light of glory to the dark world and become witness for others.
Ephesians 4:11-12
4:11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
We are equipped with the ministry and gifts of Holy Spirit for being used in the ministry for the edification of the perfect Christ's body or heavenly bride.
1 Corinthians 12:4-6
12:4 There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
12:5 There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord.
12:6 And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all.
We are appointed as priests and kings or God's servants who are equipped with the following things:
- The gifts of Holy Spirit or the miraculous ability from Holy Spirit, so we can do the work of God according to the ministry which He has entrusted to us. Holy Spirit God accompanies us.
- The ministry or our place in the body of Christ. The Son of God accompanies us.
- The miraculous deeds of love of Father God that make us able to serve to Him until the end line up to the eternality in heaven. Father God accompanies us.
Thus, a priest or God's servant who is sanctified and renewed is always accompanied by the Trinity of God up to the end of the day or forever.
- Not being willing to be filled by the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ or the true teaching Word, one must be filled by the evil and unclean spirits of Babylon.
Revelation 18:2
18:2 And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, "Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird!
Matthew 8:18-20
8:18 And when Jesus saw great multitudes about Him, He gave a command to depart to the other side.
8:19 Then a certain scribe came and said to Him, "Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go."
8:20 And Jesus said to him, "Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head."
"Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head."is the sigh of Jesus.
- Foxes refer to the evil spirit or lust, namely the lust of money which causes stinginess and greediness.
Stinginess means not being able to give.
Greediness means stealing the possession of God. One wants the possession of others until stealing, robbing, cheating, and so on.
Foxes have holes in the hard stony heart for proliferating, so there is great development of the evil spirit.
Romans 1:28-32
1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;
1:29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers,
1:30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
1:31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful;
1:32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.
The hard heart refers to the foolish heart or debased mind, so one does the sins of evil, but not only that, he also agrees and supports the others who commit the evil deeds.
- Birds refer to the unclean spiritsthat have nest for laying eggs and proliferating unclean deeds, namely sexual affairs, pornography, up to the sexual deviation or homosexuality and lesbianism as well as the mating between man and animal.
Being controlled by the evil and unclean spirits, one will be used in the edification of Babylon that is perfect in evil and uncleanness until being destroyed forever.
If the aim of following Jesus is not clear, one will be used in the edification of Babylon.
The aim must be clear, namely we are used in the ministry of the edification of the perfect Christ's body. This is a firm separation between the body of Christ and the one of Babylon.
Exodus 18:1-418:1 And Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses' father-in-law, heard of all that God had done for Moses and for Israel His people -- that the LORD had brought Israel out of Egypt.
18:2 Then Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, took Zipporah, Moses' wife, after he had sent her back, 18:3 with her two sons, of whom the name of one was Gershom(for he said, "I have been a stranger in a foreign land")
18:4 and the name of the other was Eliezer(for he said, "The God of my father was my help, and delivered me from the sword of Pharaoh");
The Gentiles can also be used in the edification of Christ's body. The requirements are as follows:
- Jethro had to bring the wife of Moses. It means that the Gentiles must receive and have the Bride Tidings or hold fast and obey it. It is the same as putting the sword on our side.
- He had to bring the sons of Moses. It means that we must have the fruits of the Bride Tidings as follows:
- Gershom = "I have been a stranger in a foreign land".
It means feeling as stranger in the world or not being influenced by the world with all of its business, amenities, sorrows, and so on, so we can be faithful in the service and ministry to God.
James 4:4
4:4 Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
- Eliezer = "The God of my father was my help, and delivered me from the sword of Pharaoh".
It is the same as receiving the sword of the Word or Bride Tidings that sanctifies us from sins, so we can live in righteousness and holiness.
Thus, the requirement of being used in the edification of Christ's body is putting the sword on our side or being faithful and righteous.
Revelation 19:11
19:11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
We are used in the revival of the white horse or the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain for edifying the perfect body of Christ. It begins from the marriage or household.
The atmosphere of the edification of Christ's body is as follows:
- Being in the tent which is peaceful.
Exodus 18:7
18:7 So Moses went out to meet his father-in-law, bowed down, and kissed him. And they asked each other about their well-being, and they went into the tent.
It means the atmosphere of fellowship and peace. We can confess and forgive one another, and then the blood of Jesus washes all of our sins, so all things become easy and light.
- The atmosphere of testimony, not gossiping or showing off.
Exodus 18:8
18:8 And Moses told his father-in-law all that the LORD had done to Pharaoh and to the Egyptians for Israel's sake, all the hardship that had come upon them on the way, and how the LORD had delivered them.
It means testifying what God has done to us, especially the sword of the Word that has set us free from sins up to the peak.
Paul the apostle could confess as the most sinful person from among all men.
The woman of Canaan could confess as a dog until her child was demon-possessed.
The Samaritan woman who had gotten married for five times could confess her sin honestly.
- The atmosphere of joy of heaven.
Exodus 18:9-11
18:9 Then Jethro rejoiced for all the good which the LORD had done for Israel, whom He had delivered out of the hand of the Egyptians.
18:10 And Jethro said, "Blessed be the LORD, who has delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians and out of the hand of Pharaoh, and who has delivered the people from under the hand of the Egyptians.
18:11 "Now I know that the LORD is greater than all the gods; for in the very thing in which they behaved proudly, He was above them."
It refers to the joy because of the mercy and goodness of God, so we can always give thanks to God.
- There must be the offerings.
Exodus 18:12
18:12 Then Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, took a burnt offering and other sacrifices to offer to God. And Aaron came with all the elders of Israel to eat bread with Moses' father-in-law before God.
It begins from returning the tithes and offerings that belong to God, and then we can sacrifice our time, energy, thought, feelings, money, and so on. It begins from serving in the marriage. It must be signified by sacrifice like Jesus who has willingly sacrificed His soul for us. We must willingly sacrifice our whole life to God and be obedient until the flesh does not speak anymore. We get the wisdom of God.
Proverbs 24:3-4
24:3 Through wisdom a house is built, And by understanding it is established;
24:4 By knowledge the rooms are filled With all precious and pleasant riches.
As a result, we are used in the ministry for edifying the perfect body of Christ or building upon the strong foundation that does not fall but can endure up to perfection.
We are building the rooms.
The room refers to the heart or the place for praying or having the closest relationship with God, heart to heart.
Worshiping God, the room is being filled with all precious and pleasant riches, namely we confess that we are not worthy because of having many sins and spiritual weaknesses.
Psalm 51:17
51:17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart--These, O God, You will not despise.
Being forgiven, do not commit the sin anymore! This is precious before God.
Isaiah 57:15
57:15 For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: "I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
All precious and pleasant riches refer to the broken heart, namely confessing that we are powerless and nothing. It attracts the presence of God in the midst of us and there is the stretching of the merciful hands of God.
Isaiah 57:16
57:16 For I will not contend forever, Nor will I always be angry; For the spirit would fail before Me, And the souls which I have made.
The results are as follows:
- The power for giving us peace, serenity, and rest. There are no more weariness, heavy burden, and sorrow.
- The power of miraculous protection and preservation of God in the midst of the difficulties in the world up to the time when the Antichrist reigns over the world for three and a half years. Our breath of life does not depend on anything in the world, but the merciful hands of God.
- The power of miraculous healing from impossible disease.
Isaiah 57:18
57:18 I have seen his ways, and will heal him; I will also lead him, And restore comforts to him And to his mourners.
- Leading us to the New Jerusalem. God gives the beautiful successful future life. There is power of renewal from the fleshly men to the spiritual ones like Jesus is, namely we do not stumble in words [James 3:2]
Isaiah 57:19
57:19 "I create the fruit of the lips: Peace, peace to him who is far off and to him who is near," Says the LORD, "And I will heal him."
It is until Israelites and Gentiles become one perfect body of Christ.
God blesses you.
