Matthew 25:31-3225:31. "When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.
25:32. "All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. On Jesus' second coming, He appears in 2 appearances as follows:
- As King of kings who dwells on the throne of His glory. So, we become as kings, those are lives who win (through sins, flesh, and world, so we can sit on the throne of glory.
- As Shepherd. So, we must appear as shepherded sheep. The characteristics are staying in shepherding pen and being able to eat shepherding Words.
Shepherding system= system of giving example.
1 Peter 5:35:3. nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examplesto the flock; If we can be shepherded, we can be example for others.
Jesus as Chief Shepherd becomesperfect example for us, especially in obedience.
Jesus gave example in obedience for three timesas follows:
- When He was baptized.
Matthew 3:15-17
3:15. But Jesus answered and said to him, "Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness." Then he allowed Him.
3:16. When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.
3:17. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."
In tabernacle, it refers to the court.
Water baptism is way of the forgiveness from sin or salvation way.
Jesus is human who has no sin and knows no sin, but He had to enter water baptism.
Why did Jesus have to enter water baptism?
- For giving right water baptism to us.
Romans 6:4
6:4. Therefore we were buried with Himthrough baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
The right water baptism is we were buried/dived with Jesus in the water.
We must be baptized like Jesus did, that is being buried with Jesus in the water. If we haven't been buried yet, it means we haven't been baptized yet.
- For fulfilling whole God's will, being obedient to God's will.
In order to be obedient to God's will, we have to sacrifice our pride, so we can humble ourselves.
So, we have to humble ourselves to be able to be obedient.
1 Peter 3:20-21
3:20. who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.
3:21. There is also an antitype which now saves us--baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
The right water baptism brings good conscience, and obedience to God's will.
Good conscience is strong base for receiving Heaven's blessings.
Good conscience is also strong base for hurling us up to Heaven's throne.
- When worship at Getsemane.
Mark14:35-36
14:35. He went a little farther, and fell on the ground, and prayed that if it were possible, the hour might pass from Him.
14:36. And He said, "Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will."
In tabernacle, it refers to the holy place.
In order to be obedient, it needs the sacrifice of self-will.
Romans 8:7
8:7. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.
Keeping the self-will which is not appropriate to the Word of God will make enmity against God and others. Self-will makes us not obey the Word of God.
Worship is process of the tearing of flesh and all its wills, that we can accept God's will which contradicts carnalwill, so we can be obedient to God's will.
Mark 14:37-38
14:37. Then He came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, "Simon, are you sleeping? Could you not watch one hour?
14:38. "Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak."
Obedient people will not enter into temptation. But disobedience brings temptation.
- When Jesus were crucified, He became obedient to the death of the cross.
Philippians 2:8
2:8. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
In tabernacle, it refers to the most holy place.
To become obedient to the death of the cross, it needs whole life sacrifice.
We have to sacrifice our whole life to be able to be obedient until our flesh does not sound anymore.
Philippians 2:9
2:9. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,
Since Jesus became obedient to the death of the cross, Jesus received Name of the names.
So do we. If we are obedient until our flesh does not sound anymore, we will receive power of Jesus' Name. The results are as follows:
- Winning poweron satan trinity, source of sins, suffering and tears.
Philippians 2:10
2:10. that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,
The proof is, we live in righteouness and holiness, that we can experience Heavenly happiness.
- Resurection powerto raise us from paralysis.
Acts 9:32-34
9:32. Now it came to pass, as Peter went through all parts of the country, that he also came down to the saints who dwelt in Lydda.
9:33. There he found a certain man named Aeneas, who had been bedridden eight years and was paralyzed.
9:34. And Peter said to him, "Aeneas, Jesus the Christ heals you. Arise and make your bed." Then he arose immediately.
Word of 'Eneas' means admirable, but become paralyzed. God's resurection power is able to heal us from our physical and spiritual paralysis.
Acts 9:36-37,40
9:36. At Joppa there was a certain disciple named Tabitha, which is translated Dorcas. This woman was full of good works and charitable deeds which she did.
9:37. But it happened in those days that she became sick and died. When they had washed her, they laid her in an upper room.
9:40. But Peter put them all out, and knelt down and prayed. And turning to the body he said, "Tabitha, arise." And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up.
Power of Jesus' Name can take care our life although we are in the impossibility.
Power of Jesus' Name can remove all impossibilities, and settle all our problems.
- Lifting powerwhich lifts us up from failure and falling.
Philippians 2:9
2:9. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,
Being lifted up means being used by God in the revival of last rain.
Lifting up also means renewal life from carnal men to spiritual men like Jesus, until we become as glorious as Jesus and can welcome God's second coming on the gorgeous clouds.
God blesses us.
