Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 1:151:15 His feet werelike fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters; It is about the appearance of Jesus in the glory as the Just Judge.
The signs are as follows.
- His feet are like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace.
- His voice as the sound of many waters.
ad. 2. His voice as the sound of many waters.
It refers to the prophecy Word, meaning as follows.
- The Word whose secret is revealed through a verse explains the other verses, to illuminate the hidden sins within the congregation. Thus, the presence of God will not be hidden.
- The Word whose secret is revealed to unveil the things that have not happened yet but surely will happen in the last days, especially about Jesus’ second coming on the glorious clouds and about His judgment over the world.
Amos 3:7-83:7 Surely the Lord God does nothing,
Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.3:8 A lion has roared!
Who will not fear? The Lord God has spoken! Who can but prophesy?God will not do something before He unveils it through the prophecy Word. Likewise, before judging this world, God will unveil it first through the prophecy Word. The prophecy Word also gives way out so we will not be destroyed together with this world.
The example is during the days of Noah.
Genesis 6:5-86:5 Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man wasgreat in the earth, and thatevery intent of the thoughts of his heart wasonly evil continually. 6:6 And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. 6:7 So the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.” 6:8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.God condemned men in the days of Noah because every intent of the thoughts of their heart was only evil continually. They did evil and unclean deeds, sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage. Such deeds make God grieved, also the pastor and parents. Therefore, God condemned men with the floodwaters. Previously, God had preached the prophecy Word as the sound of many waters to men on the earth through Noah. God also had given way out and protection place, that is the ark of Noah. Unfortunately, only Noah and his family who believed and accepted the prophecy Word, and they were saved through the ark of Noah. Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.
Likewise, if we accept the prophecy Word that is sharp and hard and points our sins, we will receive God’s grace.
2 Peter 3:103:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.In the last days, the situation of the world will return as the days of Noah. All the deeds are evil and unclean, and make God, pastor, and parents grieved. God will condemn the world with the fire from the heaven, until the earth is destroyed.
We must enter the ark of Noah in spiritual meaning, so we will not enter the judgment of God. It is the only way out from God.
The spiritual meanings of the ark of Noah are as follows.
- Unity of the marriage.
The ark of Noah was occupied by four married couples. It refers to the unity of marriage. In order to be saved from the judgment of fire from the heaven, we must keep the unity of our marriage until we reach the perfect marriage that may enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God on the glorious clouds. If we can keep the unity of our marriage, it is only by the grace of God.
Ephesians 5:31
5:31 “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.”
The aim of marriage is becoming one flesh. The requirements are as follows.
- Marriage must be righteous and legal. There must be approval from the parents, the government (it is recorded in the registry office), and God (the marriage is according to the Bible). Marriage must also be holy so it can be affirmed and blessed by God through a pastor.
- One heart.
Matthew 18:19
18:19 “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.
The heart refers to the Table of Showbread. There are twelve loaves of bread on it. They are arranged in two rows (six in a row), that refer to 66 books in the Bible.
Having one heart means being filled with one true teaching Word so the marriage becomes a house of prayer.
- The formula of a marriage is 1+1=1.
Ephesians 5:31
5:31 “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.”
There must not be something else between husband and wife except the cross, that is God’s love from Golgotha. There must not be someone else, because he/she will destroy the marriage.
Flesh man has no love. We only receive love from Golgotha.
When there is love from Golgotha within the marriage, the practices are as follows.
- The wife submits to her husband. She does not teach and command her husband. She does not take any decisions. The wife learns in silence and prays.
Colossians 3:18
3:18. Wives, submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.
The husband loves his wife as loving himself and does not be bitter toward her.
Colossians 3:19
3:19 Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them.
Loving the wife means being responsible for the continuity of physical and spiritual life within the marriage. The husband takes the decision within the marriage according to the true teaching Word.
The children obey their parents in every matter.
Colossians 3:20
3:20 Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord.
The parents do not provoke and discourage their children.
Colossians 3:21
3:21 Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged.
The things that provoke and discourage the children are teaching them with emotion, without love, or not rebuking nor advising when they are wrong.
- We can confess and forgive one another.
If we can confess and forgive one another, the blood of Jesus will erase all sins and He pours His love.
Colossians 3:14
3:14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.
Ephesians 5:32
5:32 This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
Love unites and perfects, until we enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God with Him forever.
- Unity in the true water baptism.
1 Peter 3:20-21
3:20 who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while theark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.
3:21 There is also an antitype which now saves us—baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
The ark of Noah = water baptism. There was only one ark of Noah, meaning there is only one true water baptism.
The true water baptism is the one according to the will of God, or according to the Bible. The true water baptism is we are baptized as Jesus was.
Romans 6:2-4
6:2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
6:3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
6:4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
The requirement of the true water baptism is having died to sins, especially from six entrenched sins that cause division in the body of Christ.
1 Corinthians 5:11
5:11 But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is (1)sexually immoral, or (2)covetous, or (3)an idolater, or (4)a reviler, or (5)a drunkard, or (6)an extortioner—not even to eat with such a person.
- Being sexually immoral, that is doing sins concerning marrying-being given in marriage and wrong marriage.
- Being covetous, meaning cannot give to the others and God.
- An idolater.
- A reviler.
- A drunkard.
- An extortioner.
The implementation of the true water baptism is being baptized in water together with Jesus, to be raised with Him and receive new life or Heavenly life. We experience renewal from having an evil and unclean conscience to a good one.
1 Peter 3:21
3:21. There is also an antitype which now saves us—baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
1 Chronicles 29:17-18
29:17 I know also, my God, that You test the heart and have pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things;and now with joy I have seen Your people, who are present here to offer willingly to You.
29:18 O Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, our fathers, keep this forever in the intent of the thoughts of the heart of Your people, and fix their heart toward You.
A good conscience tends to do right and good deeds in daily life, for the work of God and for the others who are in need.
1 John 3:9
3:9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.
Righteous people cannot be judged but will be blessed by God up to their offspring.
- Unity in the shepherding.
Genesis 6:14-16
6:14 Make yourself an ark of gopherwood; makerooms in the ark, and cover it inside and outside with pitch.
6:15 And this is how you shall make it: The length of the ark shall bethree hundred cubits, its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits.
6:16 You shall make a window for the ark, and you shall finish it to a cubit from above; and set the door of the ark in its side. You shall make it withlower, second, and third decks.
Exodus 25:8
25:8 And let them makeMe a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them.
There are similarities between the ark of Noah and the Tabernacle.
The ark of Noah is the will of God. The Tabernacle is also the will of God.
The ark of Noah consists of three decks. The Tabernacle consists of three rooms.
Exodus 27:18
27:18 The length of the court shall beone hundred cubits, the width fifty throughout, and the height five cubits, made offine woven linen, and its sockets of bronze.
The measurement of the Tabernacle is one hundred cubits in length and fifty in width. Thus, the area of the Tabernacle is 100x50 = 5000 cubits square. It reminds us to 5000 men who sit on the grass.
Mark 6:34
6:34 And Jesus, when He came out, saw a great multitude and was moved with compassion for them, because they were like sheep not having a shepherd. So He began to teach them many things.
The main need of sheep is a shepherd. Without a shepherd, sheep will be weary and heavy laden.
Mark 6:39-41,44
6:39 Then He commanded them to make them all sit down in groups on the green grass.
6:40 So they sat down in ranks, in hundreds and in fifties.
6:41 And when He had taken the five loaves and the two fish, He looked up to heaven, blessed and broke the loaves, and gave themto His disciples to set before them; and the two fish He divided among themall.
6:44 Now those who had eaten the loaves were about five thousand men.
The groups of hundreds and fifties refer to the shepherding (the measurement of the Tabernacle). Through the teaching of Tabernacle or Bride Tidings, we are directed to sit down on the grass. It means being well and rightly shepherded, and being firm in the good and right shepherding.
Being firm in a shepherding is started from men, which are pastor and husband. Afterwards, the wife and children will follow.
The requirements of being firm in the right shepherding are as follows.
- Being firm in the shepherding (Holy Place). There are three types of equipment within it. They refer to perseverance in three main services as follows.
- Golden Candlestick refers to perseverance in General Service. It is as the sheep is drinking.
- Table of Showbread refers to perseverance in Bible Study Service with Holy Communion. It is as the sheep is eating.
- Golden Altar of Incense refers to perseverance in Prayer Service. It is as the sheep is breathing.
In the shepherding, our spiritual life grows to righteousness, holiness, up to perfection. If the spiritual one grows, the physical will also grow.
- Having the measurement 100 and 50.
100=10x10. The first figure 10 is hearing the Word. The second figure 10 is being obedient to the Word.
50 is the number of Pentecost, meaning being faithful and fervent in spirit in ministering God.
Thus, the requirement of being firm in the right shepherding is being obedient and faithful.
Revelation 3:7-8
3:7. “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write,‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true, “He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”:
3:8 “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.
If we can be obedient (keeping the Word) and faithful (not denying God), and being firm in the shepherding, the Great Shepherd will work and we will receive the key of David. The results are as follows.
- Closing the door of the ark, meaning the merciful and good hands of God are able to protect us from all disasters and distresses.
Genesis 7:16
7:16 So those that entered, male and female of all flesh, went in as God had commanded him; and the Lord shut him in.
Revelation 3:10
3:10 Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.
- Opening the door of the Heaven, meaning as follows.
- The door of victory over sins up to the peak of sins (David won over Goliath), so we can live in righteousness and holiness.
Goliath also refers to impossible problems. The merciful and good hands of God will give us victory over all problems even the impossible ones.
- The door of lifting up, meaning the merciful and good hands of God will give us beautiful and successful future in His time. David was only a shepherd, but he could become a king. He was also recovered when he fell in sin with Bathsheba.
- The door of God’s care. He will pour the rain of blessing, either physically or spiritually. The Heavenly happiness and satisfaction will be poured abundantly.
Deuteronomy 11:13-15
11:13 ‘And it shall be that if you earnestly obey My commandments which I command you today, to love the Lord your God and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul,
11:14 then I will give youthe rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil.
11:15 And I will send grass in your fields for your livestock, that you may eat and be filled.’
- The door of renewal is opened. We experience life renewal from all our flaw, uncleanness, and filth. Until we may become a pillar, meaning being strong and of good courage. We do not become desperate and disappointed in facing temptations, but keep believing and hoping in God.
Revelation 3:12
3:12 He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on himMy new name.
The key of David is able to sanctify and perfect us until we are as perfect as Him, and we sit together with Him on the throne of Heaven forever.
God blesses us.
