Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation21:15-1621:15 And he who talked with me had a gold reed to measure the city, its gates, and its wall.
21:16 The city is laid out as a square; its length is as great as its breadth. And he measured the city with the reed: twelve thousand furlongs. Its length, breadth, and height are equal. There are three things which are measured by the gold reed, namely the New Jerusalem city, its gates, and its wall.
Measuring the New Jerusalem city:
- [verse 16] The New Jerusalem city is laid out as a square.
- The length, breadth, and height are equal, namely twelve thousand furlongs.
- [verse 18b] The New Jerusalem city is pure gold, like clear glass.
ad. 3.
Revelation21:18 21:18 The construction of its wall was of jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass. It means that we must have the spiritual pure gold if we want to enter the New Jerusalem or become the bride of God.
There are three meanings of the spiritual pure gold as follows:
- The pure or perfect faith.
1 Peter1:7
1:7 that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,
There are two levels of faith as follows:
- The true faith.
Romans10:17
10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
It comes by hearing the Word of Christ, namely the Word which is revealed by Holy Spirit through a verse that explains other verses in the Bible or the true teaching Word, not by seeing.
The process is as follows:
- Hearing the Word seriously with a need, so we can understand it.
- Believing the Word until it becomes faith in the heart. The heart believes and the mouth confesses sins to God and others.
- Repenting or being dead to sin. Faith is like a brake for stopping sinning.
1 Peter2:1-2
2:1 Therefore, laying aside all malice(1), all deceit(2), hypocrisy(3), envy(4), and all evil speaking(5),
2:2 as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby,
It starts from the five main sins.
- Entering the true water baptism. One who has believed Jesus and repented or died to sin must be buried in water with Jesus and raised from water with Jesus. As a result, the heavens are opened and we get the new life, namely the life in righteousness.
The result is salvation and blessings from God.
Psalm37:25-26
37:25 I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread.
37:26 He is ever merciful, and lends; And his descendants are blessed.
Being rich, but not righteous, one will be in failure or destruction. Being poor, but righteous, one can be blessed.
- The true faith is tested by the fireof impossible problems or temptations and sufferings, so there is separation between the pure faith and those who fall from faith.
1 Peter1:6-7
1:6 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials,
1:7 that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,
Murmuring, grumbling, blaming, getting doubtful, until denying God, the faith will fall or one loses the salvation until perishing forever.
Facing the fire of temptation, we must keep on believing the true teaching Word, giving thanks, and not committing sins. As a result, the faith will be pure and perfect. We have the pure gold.
Luke18:8
18:8 "I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?"
When Jesus comes a second time, He looks for the pure or perfect faith [1 Peter 1:7]. If we have the pure faith, we will be ready for welcoming Jesus' second coming and entering the marriage supper of the Lamb, the Paradise, and the New Jerusalem.
- The spiritual adornment of the heavenly bride.
1 Peter3:3-5
3:3 Do not let your adornment be merely outward--arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel--
3:4 rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.
3:5 For in this manner, in former times, the holy women who trusted in God also adorned themselves, being submissive to their own husbands,
It means as follows:
- Quietness.
It means keeping silent or doing the introspection in our life much more by the sharpness of the sword of the Word. Finding sin, let us confess to God and others! Being forgiven, do not repeat the sin! Finding no sin, do not plead yourself, but submit to God!
- Gentlenessor ability to forgive and forget the sin of others.
Finishing sin, our heart will be peaceful and all things become easy and light.
Keeping sin, one will be in the curse of sin, namely weariness, heavy burden, toil, and tears. Quarelling is the same as opening the way of the floods until the blessings and salvation are swept away. It means perishing.
- Submission or obedienceuntil the flesh does not speak anymore.
For example, Sarah obeyed Abraham like Abraham who obeyed God until the flesh did not speak anymore.
Matthew7:21
7:21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
As a result, the door of heaven is opened. It means that the doors in the world are open too. It starts from the door of the womb that is blessed. The sweet wine abounds in the marriage until reaching the marriage supper of the Lamb. The door of the beautiful successful future life is also opened until the door of heavenly kingdom is opened or we can enter the New Jerusalem.
- The Golden Candlestick was made of pure gold. It refers to the power of Holy Spirit.
Exodus25:31
25:31 " You shall also make a lampstand of pure gold; the lampstand shall be of hammered work. Its shaft, its branches, its bowls, its ornamental knobs, and flowers shall be of one piece.
Likewise, the mercy seat was also made of pure gold. The ark was made of shittim wood which was overlaid with pure gold.
Exodus25:10-11
25:10 " And they shall make an ark of acacia wood; two and a half cubits shall be its length, a cubit and a half its width, and a cubit and a half its height.
25:11 "And you shall overlay it with pure gold, inside and out you shall overlay it, and shall make on it a molding of gold all around.
It refers to the sinful fleshly man that is brittle or easily sinful up to the peak until perishing.
The ark must be overlaid with gold inside and out until the wood cannot be seen anymore. Thus, the fleshly man must be renewed by the power of Holy Spirit to be able to become the heavenly bride who can enter the New Jerusalem.
Without Holy Spirit, how great a fleshly man will only become as follows:
- Spiritual orphan.
John14:16-18
14:16 "And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever--
14:17 "the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
14:18 "I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
It means as follows:
- No one embraces, carries, or takes responsibility, so the life becomes so heavy in the worldon the last days that is full of difficulties, impossibilities, evil, and uncleanness. Consequently, many people become disappointed and hopeless as well as leave God and become unfaithful until leaving the service and ministry to God not believing Jesus, but denying Him, and only committing sins up to the peak.
- Not knowing the genealogy. It means not experiencing the life renewal, but keeping the sinful fleshly man.
- The earth before it was created.
Genesis1:2
1:2 The earth was without form, and void; and darknesswas on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
The darkness means being in distress.
Being void means that the mouth says the meaningless words, boasts, murmurs, and gossips.
Being without form means having no form of righteousness, but mixing with sins.
The fleshly man without Holy Spirit will only be destroyed forever.
John16:7
16:7 "Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.
Therefore, Jesus willingly goes or suffers until the death on the cross, and He is risen and ascended to heaven for pouring out Holy Spirit. Thus, we receive the pouring out of Holy Spirit through the Holy Communion.
The requirements are as follows:
- [Genesis 1:2] Holy Spirit hovered over the face of the waters or zero point. It means that we must humble ourselves as low as possible at zero point. It means that we confess that we are not worthy because of having many sins and we are unable to do anything, but we only rely on the grace of God.
Acts10:45
10:45 And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also.
One of the forms of the grace of God is Holy Spirit of His hands on earth.
- Staying in Jerusalem or the city of peace.
Acts1:4-5
1:4 And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, "which," He said, "you have heard from Me;
1:5 "for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.
It means that we must have the peaceful heart without evil, uncleanness, bitterness, anxiety, fear, and so on. We do not feel anything that the flesh feels anymore, but only the love of God.
Acts2:1-4
2:1 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
2:3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them.
2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Being humble and peaceful, Holy Spirit will be poured out like the fire that burns or sanctifies the stomach of heart and tongue or words until we can speak with the other tongues, as the Spirit gives us utterance.
The functions of Holy Spirit are as follows:
- The spiritual miracle, namely Holy Spirit who is like the fire that burns or renewes our life from the fleshly man to the spiritual one like Jesus is.
The examples are as follows:
- Peter, who lied and denied Jesus , can be changed to be honest and able to testify about Jesus.
- Thomas, whose heart did not believe Jesus, can be changed until believing Jesus and being dead because of Him.
- Mary Magdalene, who was unclean and possessed by seven demons can serve the Lord with her riches.
The fire of Holy Spirit makes us faithful and fervent in spirit in the service and ministry to God.
- Holy Spirit is like the river of the living water for giving the heavenly satisfaction until we can give thanks and testify.
John7:37-39
7:37 On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.
7:38 "He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water."
7:39 But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
- Holy Spirit is like the blowing of the strong wind for dividing the Red Sea.
Exodus14:21
14:21 Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east windall that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided.
It means that Holy Spirit is able to protect and preserve our life in the midst of the difficulties in the world until the time when the Antichrist reigns over the world for three and a half years.
Holy Spirit is able to solve all impossible problems, gives the beautiful and successful future life, and uses our life in the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain or the edification of the perfect body of Christ. It starts from the marriage, shepherding, inter-shepherding, up to the perfection.
God blesses you.
