Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation21:15 21:15 And he who talked with me had a gold reed to measure the city, its gates, and its wall. The angel refers to the pastor. The gold reed to measure refers to the rod of a shepherd or the shepherding Word, namely the the teaching Word which is entrusted by God to a pastor that he may deliver to the congregation faithfully, continually, and repetitively to be the food and command for the congregation.
There are three things which are measured by the angel with the gold reed as follows:
- The New Jerusalem city.
- The wall.
- The gates.
We are learning the first, namely the gold reed measures the New Jerusalem city.
Revelation21:16 21:16 The city is laid out as a square; its length is as great as its breadth. And he measured the city with the reed: twelve thousand furlongs. Its length, breadth, and height are equal. The city is laid out as a square. The number four refers to the four corners of the earth or all over the world. It means that
all men in the world can enter the New Jerusalem city. The process is as follows:
- There must be the first measurement of the four square, namely the Altar of Burnt Offerings.
Exodus27:1
27:1 "You shall make an altar of acacia wood, five cubits long and five cubits wide -- the altar shall be square -- and its height shall be three cubits.
It refers to the cross of Christ on Golgotha or the first love.
The requirements of receiving the first love are as follows:
- Believing Jesus as the only Savior and repenting or being dead to sin. It starts from the sin of hatred and lie.
- The water baptism.
Acts19:4
19:4 Then Paul said, "John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus."
Colossians2:11-12
2:11 In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ,
2:12 buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.
One who believes Jesus and repents or dies to sin must be buried in water with Jesus and raised from the burial of water with Him. As a result, the heavens are opened or we get the new life or heavenly one. We get the deliverance from sin or the circumcision of Christ by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh. We live in righteousness and become the instruments of righteousness.
Romans6:13-14
6:13 And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.
6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
It means that we become the servants of God who serve and minister to Him in faithfulness and righteousness, and fervency in spirit. We receive the first love.
Genesis6:8
6:8 But Noah found gracein the eyes of the LORD.
We live in the grace of God like Noah and the family in the ark of Noah. It means that the merciful hands of God protect and preserve us in the midst of the difficulties in the world until the time when the Antichrist reigns over the world for three and a half years. The merciful hands of God protect us from disaster, accident, and doomsday up to the hell. We keep peaceful. All things become easy and light. We have the atmosphere of Paradise.
Revelation2:4-7
2:4 "Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.
2:5 "Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place--unless you repent.
2:6 "But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
2:7 "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God."'
We always give thanks to God and become His witness.
- The foursquare refers to the Golden Altar of Incense.
Exodus30:1-2
30:1 "You shall make an altar to burn incense on; you shall make it of acacia wood.
30:2 "A cubit shall be its length and a cubit its width -- it shall be square-- and two cubits shall be its height. Its horns shall be of one piece with it.
It is the same as the worship prayer on the holy mountain.
Luke9:28
9:28 Now it came to pass, about eight days after these sayings, that He took Peter, John, and James and went up on the mountain to pray.
The true worship is encouraged by the true teaching Word.
Psalm24:3-4
24:3 Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who may stand in His holy place?
24:4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully.
The requirement of worshiping God is the sanctification by the true teaching Word.
It starts from the heart that is the warehouse of sins. It must be sanctified from the evil desires or stinginess and greediness, the unclean desires or eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage, bitterness or ency, hatred, and jealousy. Afterwards, the hands or deeds are also sanctified. The meaningless words such as lies, gossips, and slanders are also sanctified. We live in holiness and enjoy worshiping God.
Matthew17:1-2
17:1 Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves;
17:2 and He was transfigured before them. His faceshone like the sun, and His clothesbecame as white as the light.
The results are as follows:
- The flesh with all of its desires or characteristics are torn, so there is life renewal to become the spiritual men like Jesus is. It starts from the face or five senses.
The ears can hear and obey the true teaching Word.
The mouth can speak the righteous words and be honest
Honesty and obedience refer to the house of prayer and cheerful face.
- We receive the rain of blessings from God.
Psalm24:5
24:5 He shall receive blessing from the LORD, And righteousness from the God of his salvation.
It comes from God God, not from men. We get the pleading of God, We keep saved and perfect.
- Experiencing the heavenly joy.
Matthew17:4
17:4 Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, "Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah."
- [Matthew 17:14-15] The power of healing from epilepsy or impossible disease and problem.
- Setting us free from the bond of sin. The dog and swine can be the shepherded sheep.
- The four square refers to the breastplate of judgment the High Priest.
Exodus28:15-16
28:15 " You shall make the breastplate of judgment. Artistically woven according to the workmanship of the ephod you shall make it: of gold, blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine woven linen, you shall make it.
28:16 "It shall be doubled into a square: a span shall be its length, and a span shall be its width.
It is the same as the perfect church or the heavenly bride that is on the heart of Jesus, the High Priest, the King of all kings, or the Heavenly Bridegroom.
Exodus28:28
28:28 "They shall bind the breastplate by means of its rings to the rings of the ephod, using a blue cord, so that it is above the intricately woven band of the ephod, and so that the breastplate does not come loose from the ephod.
The requirement is that the breastplate must not come loose from the ephod.
Exodus28:6
28:6 "and they shall make the ephod of gold, blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine woven linen, artistically worked.
The ephod has four main colors as follows:
- Blue. It refers to Jesus as a servant = the gospel according to Mark.
- Purple. It refers to Jesus as a King= the gospel according to Matthew.
- Scarlet or red. It refers to Jesus as a man = the gospel according to Luke.
- Fine linen / white. It refers to Jesus as the Son of God= the gospel according to John.
If the lines are drawn, there is the cross.
Thus, the Church must not move from the cross, but bear it or get the sprinkling of blood with Jesus.
2 Corinthians4:16-18
4:16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.
4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,
4:18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Why?
- So that we get the life renewal from the fleshly men to the spiritual ones like Jesus is, namely being strong and of good courage.
Ephesians3:16
3:16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,
It is the same as the heart that is full of Holy Spirit.
- The fleshly sight is changed into the spiritual one which is set to Jesus only. We only believe and hope or rely on God. Our sight is set to the field of God.
As a result, God will never close His eyes, but always pay attention, care, and struggle for us.
- The mouth does not murmur, grumble, or blame at others, but worships God.
Romans8:26
8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Daniel 3:16-18,24-25
3:16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter.
3:17 "If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king.
3:18 "But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up."
3:24 Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished; and he rose in haste and spoke, saying to his counselors, "Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?" They answered and said to the king, "True, O king."
3:25 "Look!" he answered, "I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God."
For example, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego kept on believing and hoping God. As a result, God did not keep silent, but His hands worked for finishing all impossible problems and giving the beautiful successful future life.
Luke23:39-43
23:39 Then one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying, "If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us."
23:40 But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, "Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation?
23:41 "And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong."
23:42 Then he said to Jesus, "Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom."
23:43 And Jesus said to him, "Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise."
The eyes only see the Lord and the mouth can confess sins as well as cry out the name of Jesus. As a result, the atmosphere of curse is changed into Paradise.
It continues until we are changed to be perfect. We receive the gold reed like Esther.
God blesses you.
