Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
There are four appearances of Jesus in the glory in Revelation 1:13-16 as follows.
- [verse 13] the appearance of Jesus in the glory as the High Priest.
- [verse 14] the appearance of Jesus in the glory as the King of all kings.
- [verse 15] the appearance of Jesus in the glory as the Just Judge.
- [verse 16] the appearance of Jesus in the glory as the Heavenly Bridegroom.
ad. 2. The appearance of Jesus in the glory as the King of all kings.
Revelation 1:141:14 His head and hair werewhite like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire; The signs are as follows.
- His head and hair are white like wool, as white as snow.
White hair equals to a crown of righteousness.
Daniel 7:9
7:9. “I watched till thrones were put in place,
And the Ancient of Days was seated;
His garment waswhite as snow,
And the hair of His head waslike pure wool.
His throne wasa fiery flame,
Its wheels a burning fire;
Daniel also saw Jesus with His white hair and He sat on the throne of Heaven.
Jesus has white hair and sits on the throne of Heaven refers to Jesus as the King of kings.
- His eyes are like a flame of fire.
We are still discussing the second sign.
Psalm 11:411:4. The Lord isin His holy temple,
The Lord’s throne isin heaven;
His eyes behold,
His eyelids test the sons of men. From the throne of Heaven, His eyes as the flame of fire behold all of us.
The term “behold” means as follows.
- Seeing carefully, sanctifying and testing our life, so all the servants of God can become the apple of His eye.
- God watches His servants. He cares, helps, makes miracles, and provides everything we need.
1 Corinthians 7:31-327:31 and those who use this world as not misusing it.For the form of this world is passing away.7:32 But I want you to be without care. He who is unmarried cares for the things of the Lord—how he may please the Lord. Therefore, in the short time in these last days, we must focus our attention to the matter of God.
We can pay attention to earthly matters, but they must not block our attention to the matter of God.
The practices of focusing our attention to God are as follows.
- [2 Peter 1:19] Paying attention to the prophecy Word, that is the Word sharper than any two-edged sword.
(it has been explained in Bible Study Service, May 1, 2014)
- Paying attention to the ministry we received from God, and fulfilling it.
Colossians 4:17
4:17 And say to Archippus, “Take heed to the ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you may fulfill it.”
It means that we must struggle to minister God with faithfulness and fervency in spirit up to the end line (until we die or Jesus comes a second time).
1 Corinthians 9:25
9:25 And everyone who competes for the prizeis temperate in all things. Now they do itto obtain a perishable crown, but we foran imperishable crown.
Ministry is a competition to the end line to obtain an imperishable crown, that is full right to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
2 Peter 1:10-11
1:10 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble;
1:11 for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The requirements to join the competition are as follows.
- Laying aside every burden and sin that ensnares us.
Hebrews 12:1
12:1. Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us,and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
Burden is something behind, that is sin that has been said, done, and thought. It must be laid aside by realizing and confessing our sins to God and the others, encouraged by the true teaching Word. Thus the blood of Jesus will forgive our sins and we must not do it again.
Revelation 21:8
21:8 But the (1)cowardly, (2)unbelieving, (3)abominable, (4)murderers, (5)sexually immoral, (6)sorcerers, (7)idolaters, and all (8)liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
- Being coward means being afraid of something until one does not have the fear of God.
- Not believing, being doubtful.
- Being abominable and evil.
- Murdering and hating without any reasons.
- Being sexually immoral.
- Sorcerers.
- Idolaters.
- Liars.
Especially we must be set free from these eight sins that will make us stop ministering God, even drown us in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone.
The sin that ensnares is the snare of sin. It is the sin that is intentionally put by Satan on the way we pass frequently. It is to ensnare, bind, and drag us to perdition in the hell. There are two types of the snare of sin as follows.
- Riches, woman, throne, lie.
1 Timothy 6:9-10
6:9 But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and intomany foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition.
6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds ofevil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
Riches refer to evil desire, that is the love of money. It means as follows.
- Chasing for money, looking for money in illegal way, being unfaithful even leaving the ministry in order to look for money, or being active in ministry in order to look for money.
- Being stingy and greedy.
Being stingy means cannot give. Being greedy means plundering the rights of the others and of God.
The tithe and special offering are God’s way to set us free from the snare of sins, and God’s way to possess our life.
If there is evil desire (riches), there will be unclean desire (woman) that will lead to sins concerning eating-drinking (smoking, getting drunk, consuming drugs) and marrying-being given in marriage (sexuality sin with all its variety).
Throne refers to position and arrogance, being superior than the others.
If there are riches, woman, and throne, there will be lies.
- False teaching, including gossips whose truth cannot be accounted.
Deuteronomy 12:29-31
12:29 “When the Lord your God cuts off from before you the nations which you go to dispossess, and you displace them and dwell in their land,
12:30 take heed to yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you do not inquire after their gods, saying, ‘How did these nations serve their gods? I also will do likewise.’
12:31 You shall not worship the Lord your God in that way; for every abomination to the Lord which He hates they have done to their gods; for they burn even their sons and daughters in the fire to their gods.
Be careful when we are blessed and used by God. Do not be snared by false teaching.
The example is Solomon. He held the sword when he was young, so he could be successful in his reign. He also could tackle problems up to international problems. But on his old days, he gave chances to hear the other teachings from his wives, and he loosed the true teaching Word. The consequence was his downfall.
If we lay aside the burden and snare of sins, meaning we are set free from sins, our ministry will be easy and light, and we will never leave it up to the end line.
- Looking unto Jesus as the High Priest and King of kings, who sits at the right hand of the throne of God.
Hebrews 12:2
12:2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of ourfaith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
It means that we must not look this way and that way (looking at man) as Moses. If one frequently looks this way and that way, it will cause hatred without any reasons and partiality to one’s side.
Exodus 2:11-12
2:11. Now it came to pass in those days, when Moses was grown, that he went out to his brethren and looked at their burdens. And he saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his brethren.
2:12 So he looked this way and that way, and when he saw no one, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand.
Looking unto Jesus also means not looking behind, or not looking the way of this world.
1 Corinthians 15:25-26
15:25 For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet.
15:26 The last enemy thatwill be destroyed isdeath.
If our eyes look unto the High Priest and King of kings, we will experience victory over death, that is victory over sins up to the peak of sins.
King David says that there is only a step between us and death. When we turn a bit from Jesus, we will be in death, that is doing sins and being influenced by false teaching. Do not feel strong.
The proofs of having victory over death are as follows.
- Living in righteousness and holiness. We are shepherded in Holy Place. There are three types of equipment within it that refer to perseverance in three main services as follows.
- Golden Candlestick refers to perseverance in General Service. We have fellowship with Holy Spirit God in His gifts.
- Table of Showbread refers to perseverance in Bible Study Service and Holy Communion. We have fellowship with the Son of God in the Word and the sacrifice of Christ.
- Golden Altar of Incense refers to perseverance in Prayer Service. We have fellowship with Father God in His love.
In the shepherding, our body, spirit, and soul attach to God the Trinity. We experience four layers of cover. Three layers are the covers from God the Trinity and one layer is the cover from the pastor. We experience protection and calmness.
- Let us use every cubit and heartbeat of our life to serve the building of the body of Christ.
Matthew 6:27
6:27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
- There is anointing of Holy Spirit.
Leviticus 21:12
21:12 nor shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the consecration of the anointing oil of his God isupon him: I amthe Lord.
Psalm 20:6
20:6 Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed;
He will answer him from His holy heaven With the saving strength of His right hand.
One who is anointed by Holy Spirit will become a house of prayer. His prayer will be answered by God. We become faithful and fervent in spirit in ministering God. We like and persevere to worship Him.
Romans 15:16
15:16 that I might be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
An answered prayer means miracle happens. The greatest miracle is we experience sanctification and life renewal by Holy Spirit, started with being honest and obedient. We are honest in confessing our sins, in the true teaching Word, and in every matter.
Isaiah 43:15-16
43:15 I amthe Lord, your Holy One,
The Creator of Israel, your King.”
43:16 Thus says the Lord, who makes a way in the sea
And a path through the mighty waters,
If the greatest miracle happens, the other one will also happen. The King is able to make a way in the sea and open the closed doors for us. The impossible thing will be made possible. There is beautiful and successful future. God will also use us more visible in the building of the body of Christ.
When the King comes, we will be renewed as glorious as Him and the door of heaven will be opened. We enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God and the Paradise, until we enter the eternal Kingdom of Heaven.
God blesses us.
