Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 2-3 is about the seven times of the sprinkling of blood in front of the Ark of Covenant. It refers to the last sanctification to the seven churches of the Gentiles or the church in the last days, until we become perfect and blameless as Him. We are worthy to welcome His second coming.
Although one has many excellences or receives many blessings, but if he has a blame, everything will be useless and he will not be able to welcome His second coming.
Revelation 2:18-29 is about the church in Thyatira.
Revelation 2:18-202:18 “And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write, ‘These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass: 2:19 “I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and asfor your works, the last aremore than the first. 2:20 Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.Jesus appears in two forms as follows.
- His eyes are like a flame of fire, meaning the sanctification to the inner part.
- His feet are like fine brass, meaning the judgment.
Revelation 2:232:23 I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.Jesus appears with the eyes like a flame of fire and the feet like fine brass to test and sanctify the heart and mind, up to the deepest one (the kidney). Why is it like that?
- It is so that we are not proud of our excellences or God’s blessings to us.
Revelation 2:19
2:19 “I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and asfor your works, the last aremore than the first.
- It is so that we are not marked by Satan with false or deceitful teachings.
Revelation 2:20,24
2:20 Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.
2:24 “Now to you I say, and to the rest in Thyatira, as many as do not have this doctrine, who have not known the depths of Satan, as they say, I will put on you no other burden.
There are two types of false teaching in Thyatira as follows.
- The teaching of Jezebel, that is the teaching which allows women to teach and have authority over men, or women become the head of men. It is the wrong structure of a marriage or a ministry. If women become the head of men, Jesus cannot become the Head of the marriage or the ministry. The consequence is the serpent becomes the head. A serpent is twisty, meaning cannot say ‘yes’ for ‘yes’, or ‘no’ for ‘no’.
- The teaching of Satan, that is the teaching which learns about the depth of Satan, especially his house. If one learns about the house of God or the Tabernacle, he will be controlled by the spirit of God. But if one learns about the house of Satan, he will be controlled by the spirit of Satan.
If our heart and mind are sanctified up to the deepest one, we will have a firm spirit to hold fast the true teaching Word and reject the wrong one. Rejecting means not giving any chance to hear the other teachings.
The practices of the heart and mind that are marked by false teaching are as follows.
- Having an earthly mind.
Philippians 3:18-19
3:18 For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they arethe enemies of the cross of Christ:
3:19 whose end isdestruction, whose god is theirbelly, and whoseglory isin their shame—who set their mind on earthly things.
One with the earthly mind rejects the cross and becomes the enemy of the cross of Christ. He follows God but only wants the things that are nice for the flesh. The daily practice is ministering with the aim to look for physical matters (money, position, mate, et cetera). One also exaggerates physical matters and neglects the spiritual ones especially the true teaching Word.
1 Corinthians 15:19
15:19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable.
The consequence is he becomes the most pitiable of all men, including the ones who do not know Christ. This kind of life does not experience resurrection power or life renewal. He is as Judas Iscariot who bursts open in the middle with all his entrails gushes out at the end of his life. He is destroyed forever.
- Having a fleshly mind.
Romans 8:5-7
8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who liveaccording to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
8:6 For to be carnally minded isdeath, but to be spiritually minded islife and peace.
8:7 Because the carnal mind isenmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.
The fleshly mind is neither subject nor obedient to the law of God.
Galatians 5:19-21
5:19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
5:20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
5:21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told youin time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
One with the fleshly mind will do the fleshly deeds and not inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. It means he will be destroyed forever.
The example is Saul who was asked to wait for 7 days until Samuel came to offer the sacrifice for God. In a confined situation, the fleshly mind affected Saul so he became disobedient and burnt the sacrifice by himself. In a blessed situation, that is when Saul won over the Amalekites, the fleshly mind appeared. God asked him to quell all of them, but Saul was disobedient. The consequence was Saul lost his kingdom.
Certainly we have to pay an expensive price to become obedient. But we will pay a more expensive price when we are disobedient.
- Having a sinful mind.
Jeremiah 3:3
3:3 Therefore the showers have been withheld,
And there has been no latter rain. You have had a harlot’s forehead; You refuse to be ashamed.
The manifestations are as follows.
- Evil sin, that equals to the lust of money. It causes one to become stingy and greedy. Being stingy means being unable to give. Being greedy means seizing the right of God and the others.
- Unclean sin, that is sin concerning eating-drinking (smoking, getting drunk, consuming drugs) and marrying-being given in marriage (sexuality sin with all its variety, mix marriage, wrong marriage).
- Being unfaithful to one man, that is Christ. It means being unfaithful to one true teaching Word or being unfaithful in the ministry to God.
It will lead to the building of the Babylon or the bride of Satan.
Therefore, God appears with His eyes like the flame of fire and His feet like fine brass to sanctify our heart and mind up to the kidney, so we are not marked by Satan but by God.
There are three things that are sealed by God on a holy heart, mind, and kidney as follows.
- The blood of redemption.
Exodus 13:13,161
3:13 But every firstborn of a donkey you shall redeem with a lamb; and if you will not redeem it,then you shall break its neck. And all the firstborn of man among your sons you shall redeem.
13:16 It shall be as a sign on your hand and as frontlets between your eyes, for by strength of hand the Lord brought us out of Egypt.”
A donkey is the representation of the Gentiles which is born to be broken in its neck. It means being dead spiritually and having no relation with God, up to eternal perdition.
Fortunately, Jesus as the Lamb of God is willing to die on the cross to redeem the sins of the Gentiles. The proofs of the Gentiles receiving the seal of the redemption blood are as follows.
- We must be set free from the sins that destroy man.
Revelation 1:5-6
1:5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood,
1:6 and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him beglory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
Revelation 21:8
21:8 But (1)the cowardly, (2)unbelieving, (3)abominable, (4)murderers, (5)sexually immoral, (6)sorcerers, (7)idolaters, and all (8)liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
It is started from being set free from eight sins that bring man directly to the hell. The first one is the cowardly, meaning being afraid of something until having no fear of God.
- We are appointed as the priests and kings.
A priest is one who is holy, holds the ministry from God, and ministers Him. A ministry equals to the tunic of many colors or the beautiful tunic. Thus, our life will be beautiful and tidy.
- The forehead is sealed with the true teaching Word.
Deuteronomy 11:18-19
11:18 “Therefore you shall lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.
11:19 You shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.
The true teaching Word is written in the Bible. Its secret is revealed by God through one verse explains the other verses in the Bible. It is the true spiritual food.
The proof that our forehead is sealed with the true teaching Word is we like to speak about the Word.
The process of being sealed by the Word is as follows.
- Holy Spirit helps us to hear the Word solemnly and with a need.
- Holy Spirit helps us to understand the Word. It equals to the Word is sealed in our forehead.
- Holy Spirit helps us to believe the Word. It equals to the Word is sealed in our heart.
- Holy Spirit helps us to practice the Word. It equals to the Word is ingrained in our life.
1 Peter 1:22
1:22 Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,
The result is we can live in holiness and we can love one another fervently with a pure heart, even we can love our enemy. It is until we can love God more than everything.
- The forehead is sealed with the name of God.
Exodus 28:36-38
28:36 “You shall also make a plate of pure gold and engrave on it, likethe engraving of a signet:HOLINESS TO THE LORD.
28:37 And you shall put it on a blue cord, that it may be on the turban; it shall be on the front of the turban.
28:38 So it shall be on Aaron’s forehead, that Aaron may bear the iniquity of the holy things which the children of Israel hallow in all their holy gifts; and it shall always be on his forehead, that they may be accepted before the Lord.
Ezekiel 9:4-7
9:4 and the Lord said to him, “Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it.”
9:5 To the others He said in my hearing, “Go after him through the city and kill; do not let your eye spare, nor have any pity.
9:6 Utterly slay old andyoung men, maidens and little children and women; but do not come near anyone on whom isthe mark; and begin at My sanctuary.” So they began with the elders who werebefore the temple.
9:7 Then He said to them, “Defile the temple, and fill the courts with the slain. Go out!” And they went out and killed in the city.
The proof that our forehead is sealed with the name of God is we complain about sins. Let us stop sinning these days. Let us live in righteousness and holiness.
Song of Solomon 8:5-68:5 Who isthis coming up from the wilderness,
Leaning upon her beloved? I awakened you under the apple tree.
There your mother brought you forth; There she who bore you brought you forth.8:6 Set me as a seal upon your heart,
As a seal upon your arm; For love is as strong as death, Jealousy as cruel as the grave;
Its flames areflames of fire,
A most vehement flame. If our heart, mind, and kidney are sanctified by God or sealed with the blood of redemption, the true teaching Word, and the name of God, our position is being sealed in the heart and arm of God. We are as a baby in the embrace of the hands of God. He will never forget us. He always cares, understands, and struggles for us. As a baby, we only weep and cry out His name. The results are as follows.
- Miraculous healing power.
Acts 3:5-8
3:5 So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them.
3:6 Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.”
3:7 And he took him by the right hand and lifted himup, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
3:8 So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God.
Physically, a paralyzed man from birth can be healed. The power of God is able to erase all impossibilities (illness, financial problems, et cetera).
Spiritually, we can be faithful and fervent in spirit in ministering God. We delight in serving Him. The term “leaping” means the kidney or the deepest feeling can delight in serving God.
Proverbs 23:16
23:16 Yes, my inmost being will rejoice
When your lips speak right things.
Delighting in the ministry is accompanied with honesty in the matter of the true teaching Word.
Isaiah 5:7
5:7 For the vineyard of the Lord of hosts isthe house of Israel,
And the men of Judah are His pleasant plant. He looked for justice, but behold, oppression;
For righteousness, but behold, a cry for help.
Thus, God will also delight in our life. We are in front of the gate of Heaven.
Genesis 28:16-17,20-22
28:16 Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.”
28:17 And he was afraid and said, “How awesome isthis place! This isnone other than the house of God, and this isthe gate of heaven!”
28:20 Then Jacob made a vow, saying, “If God will be with me, and keep me in this way that I am going, and give me bread to eat and clothing to put on,
28:21 so that I come back to my father’s house in peace, then the Lord shall be my God.
28:22 And this stone which I have set as a pillar shall be God’s house, and of all that You give me I will surely give a tenth to You.”
God will provide our clothes, food, house, accompaniment and protection from the Heaven miraculously. Thereafter, do not forget to return the tithe that belongs to God. The tithe is our confession that we are blessed by God. It is also so that we live in the cycle of the kingdom of Heaven that cannot be broken (the tithe --> there is the Word as food --> being obedient to the Word --> the door of Heaven is opened so there is blessing, protection, joy --> the tithe).
- The power of the name of Jesus makes everything beautiful and successful in His time.
Acts 3:2
3:2 And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple;
- The power of the name of Jesus gives us victory over Satan the trinity.
Philippians 2:9-11
2:9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,
2:10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,
2:11 and thatevery tongue should confess that Jesus Christ isLord, to the glory of God the Father.
We are sanctified and renewed until God the Trinity is within our life. It is until we are as glorious as Him.
The proof is our tongue does not stumble in word. We only cry out “Alleluia” on His second coming on the glorious clouds.
God blesses us.
