Psalm 92:12-15
92:12 The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
92:13 Those who are planted in the house of the LordShall flourish in the courts of our God.
92:14 They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing,
92:15 To declare that the Lord is upright; He ismy rock, and there isno unrighteousness in Him.

No matter how great a man in this world is, he is just as a tree. Since he was born, he had to eat, drink, sleep, until he is successful. But afterward, he will die and be destroyed. Therefore, since he was in the womb and born, he had to be planted in the house of God. It means that we must be well and right shepherded.
The requirements are as follows.

  • Dwelling in the shepherding pen and persevering in three main services.
  • Being obedient to the voice of the Shepherd.

Persevering and being obedient equal to stretching out both our hands to God, and He will also stretch out His great merciful hands to us. We live within His great merciful hands. The results are as follows.

  • We become the righteous, namely living in righteousness.
  • We grow like a cedar, that is being strong and of good courage. We endure in facing everything. We are not disappointed or desperate. We do not leave God whatever happens in our life. We do not sin or go astray whatever we face. We keep being together with God until His second coming.

  • Flourishing like a palm tree, that is being faithful and fervent in spirit in ministering God, according to the ministry entrusted by God.
  • Still bearing fruit in old age, namely the miracle of life renewal starting from the mouth only says good and right words, testifies, and worships God. Thus, physical miracle will also happen. God will care, help, give us beautiful future, until bring us to enter the last shepherding pen in the New Jerusalem.

God blesses us.

GENERAL SERVICE
Grace and peace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 5:4
5:4 So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and read the scroll, or to look at it.

John the apostle wept much to get the revelation of the Word of God, so there would be the opening of the doors in the world up to the door of Heaven.

Colossians 2:1-3
2:1 For I want you to know what a great conflict I have for you and those in Laodicea, and foras many as have not seen my face in the flesh,
2:2 that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attainingto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ,
2:3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Paul the apostle also struggled to get the revelation of the Word of God, because it is the treasures of wisdom from Heaven.

Now, we must also struggle to get the revelation of the Word. We can hear the Word solemnly, understand it, believe and have faith on it, until practice the true teaching Word.
The usefulness of the revelation of the Word is as follows.

  1. The opening of the doors in the world, up to the opening of the door of Heaven.
  2. The congregation will not cast off restraint [Proverbs 29:18].
  3. The congregation will not be deceived by beautiful words, false teaching, gossip, et cetera[Colossians 2:4].
  4. We live in the steadfastness of our faith. It equals to putting the sword on our side or holding fast the true teaching Word and being obedient to it [Colossians 2:5].
  5. We keep living in Jesus, and He is in us [Colossians 2:6].
  6. We are rooted, built up, and able to bear fruit (abounding with thanksgiving) up to the fruit of perfection, that is the bride who is ready to welcome Jesus' second coming on the glorious clouds.
    Colossians 2:7
2:7 rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.

How can the Word make us rooted, built up, and able to bear fruit?

  1. Being rooted.
    2 Timothy 4:2
4:2 Preach the word! Be ready in season andout of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.

The content of the preaching of the true teaching Word is giving foundation or strong root as follows.

    • Convincing the sin, so we can realize and regret it, as well as confess it to God and the others. Thus, we will receive the forgiveness of our sins.
    • Rebuking hardly, so we repent. We stop sinning to return to God. It equals to living in righteousness.
    • Exhorting us.
      Psalm 73:24
73:24 You will guide me with Your counsel,And afterward receive me toglory.

The counsel from the Word equals to the guiding of the hands of the Great Shepherd to bring us to the way of righteousness and holiness. We will not fall in sins nor be deceived by false teaching and gossips. We will be guided to enter the shepherding pen or the Holy Place.

      • Golden Candlestick refers to perseverance in General Service. We have fellowship with Holy Spirit God in His gifts. Holy Spirit is the living water from Heaven.
      • Table of Showbread refers to perseverance in Bible Study Service with Holy Communion. We have fellowship with the Son of God in the teaching Word and the sacrifice of Christ. The Word is the living water from Heaven.
      • Golden Alter of Incense refers to perseverance in Prayer Service. We have fellowship with Father God in His love. God's love is the living water from Heaven.

      Jeremiah 17:7-8
17:7 "Blessed isthe man who trusts in the Lord,And whose hope is the Lord.
17:8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters,Which spreads out its roots by the river,And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green,And will not be anxious in the year of drought,Nor will cease from yielding fruit.

      Psalm 1:1-3
      1:1 Blessed isthe manWho walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners,Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
1:2 But his delight isin the law of the Lord,And in His law he meditates day and night.
1:3 He shall be like a treePlanted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.

One who is well and right shepherded is as a tree planted by the rivers of living water. The requirements to dwell in the shepherding pen are as follows.

      • The servants of God who live in righteousness will always be encouraged to dwell in the shepherding pen.
      • One who only believes and puts his hope in God or prioritizes God more than everything.

Thus, the roots will spread by the river [Jeremiah 17:8], meaning being active to absorb the living water from Heaven, that is the water of Holy Spirit, the Word, and God's love.

      Proverbs 12:3
12:3 A man is not established by wickedness,But the root of the righteous cannot be moved.

The root of the righteous is strong and cannot be moved. It is not affected by the heat of the sun. Physically, the heat refers to temptation, problem, et cetera. Spiritually, the heat refers to sins up to the peak, false teaching, and gossips. We can keep living in righteousness and holding fast the true teaching Word.

  2. Being built up.
    Hebrews 4:12-13
4:12 For the word of God isliving and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
    4:
13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things arenaked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must giveaccount.

The true teaching Word sanctifies our heart and mind, which are the hiding place of sins. There are two types of sin as follows.

    • The unclean desire leads to sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage.
    • The evil desire, that is bitterness of the heart, envy, hatred, and the lust of money that cause one to be stingy and greedy. Being stingy means being unable to give. Being greedy means seizing the right of the others.

    Revelation 18:2
18:2 And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, "Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird!

If the heart and mind are controlled by evil and unclean spirit, that kind of life will be built as Babylon who will be destroyed forever.

    Acts 20:28,32-33,35
20:28 Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.
20:32 "So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
    20:
33 I have coveted no one's silver or gold or apparel.
20:35 I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'"

If our heart and mind are sanctified from evil and unclean spirit by the work of the Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword, we will feel more blessed to give than to receive. It is started with returning the tithe and special offering that belong to God. We can give for the work of God (time, energy, et cetera) and for the others who are in need until we can give our whole life to God. The results are as follows.

    • We are used in the ministry of building the perfect body of Christ or the spiritual house of God.
      Genesis 28:22
28:22 And this stone which I have set as a pillar shall be God's house, and of all that You give me I will surely give a tenth to You."

      Jeremiah 17:8
17:8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters,Which spreads out its roots by the river,And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green,And will not be anxious in the year of drought,Nor will cease from yielding fruit.

The green leaf means that we become the priests and kings who keep being faithful and fervent in spirit in ministering God according to the ministry entrusted by Him, up to the end line. We keep living by God's great grace wherever, whenever, under any situation.
Being unfaithful even leaving the ministry means being dry to the root, that is living in curse up to the eternal perdition.

    • We can surrender all our worry to God.
      Jeremiah 17:8
17:8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters,Which spreads out its roots by the river,And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green,And will not be anxious in the year of drought,Nor will cease from yielding fruit.

      1 Peter 5:7
5:7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

We only believe and put our hope to God. Thus, He as the Great Shepherd is able to care our life physically and spiritually.

  3. Bearing fruit, abounding with thanksgiving.
    Psalm 149:6
149:6 Letthe high praises of God bein their mouth,And a two-edged sword in their hand,

    Hebrews 13:15
13:15 Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of ourlips, giving thanks to His name.

    Hebrews 13:16
13:16 But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

There is a good fruit of our lips. There is a good fruit of our deeds. It means giving and visiting the others who are in need.

    Hebrews 13:17
13:17 Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.

It continues until there is the fruit of obedience until the flesh does not sound anymore.

    Acts 5:29-32
5:29 But Peter and the otherapostles answered and said: "We ought to obey God rather than men.
    5:
30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus whom you murdered by hanging on a tree.
    5:
31 Him God has exalted to His right hand to bePrince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.
    5:
32 And we are His witnesses to these things, and soalso isthe Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him."

We can be obedient when there is the anointing of Holy Spirit.

    Titus 3:5
3:5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

Holy Spirit is able to renew us from the fleshly man to the spiritual one as Jesus.

    Galatians 5:22-23
5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
    5:
23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

We are returned to the image of God the Trinity.
The image of Father God: love, joy, peace.
The image of the Son of God: longsuffering, kindness, goodness.
The image of Holy Spirit God: faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.

    Psalm 1:3
1:3 He shall be like a treePlanted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season,Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.

If spiritual miracle happens, the physical one will also happen. God will make all things beautiful and successful right on His time. Everything will be finished on His time. When Jesus comes a second time, Holy Spirit will renew us to become the Heavenly bride who is ready to welcome His second coming on the glorious clouds.

God blesses us.
