Peace and grace in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Matthew 28:16-20 is about the commandment to preach the Gospel, or the spread of the light or Shekinah Glory. Be careful, if one does not want to be employed in the spread of the light, he will be used in the spread of the darkness.
The spread of the light or Shekinah Glory means God employs us in a great revival according to the great commandment of God as follows.
- Revival of Holy Spirit at the early rain, that is revival in the gospel Word. This revival aims to save the sinful lives through water baptism.
Matthew 28:19
28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
- Revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain, that is revival in the teaching Word. This revival aims to bring saved lives to enter the building of the perfect body of Christ, to become the bride who is ready to welcome Jesus’ second coming on the glorious clouds.
Matthew 28:20
28:20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, evento the end of the age.” Amen.
One who is used in the great revival is priest and king.
Priest is one as follows.
- One who is holy.
- One who bears ministry received from God.
- One who ministers God solemnly in the building of the perfect body of Christ.
A priest must have the true consecration, so that God accepts his ministry and He is pleased. We must not minister carelessly.
The true consecration cannot be separated with the garment of ministry. One who is being naked (equals to preserving sins, doing sins willfully, agreeing sins) cannot and is not allowed to minister God. He is ministering himself and Satan, and will be destroyed.
There are seven parts of the garment of the High Priest in the book of Exodus.
- Ephod.
- Sash.
- Breastplate.
- Robe of the ephod.
- Skillfully woven tunic.
- Turban.
- Plate.
This morning, we learn about the plate.
Exodus 28:36
28:36 “You shall also make a plate of pure gold and engrave on it, likethe engraving of a signet: HOLINESS TO THE LORD.The plate is made of pure gold and engraved “Holiness to the Lord”.
It means that our mind, memory, thought must be sanctified. If one is not sanctified, he will be misdirected to sins, idolatry, up to the peak of sins.
Exodus 32:4
32:4 And he received the goldfrom their hand, and he fashioned it with an engraving tool, and made a molded calf. Then they said, “This isyour god, O Israel, that brought you out of the land of Egypt!”The Israelites worship the golden calf so they fall in sins concerning eating-drinking (smoking, getting drunk, consuming drugs) and marrying-being given in marriage (sexuality sin with all its varieties).
Jeremiah 46:14-15
46:14 “Declare in Egypt, and proclaim in Migdol;
Proclaim in Noph and in Tahpanhes;
Say, ‘Stand fast and prepare yourselves,
For the sword devours all around you.’
46:15 Why are your valiant menswept away?
They did not stand Because the Lord drove them away. While God wants to mark our mind with the plate, Satan also wants to mark the mind of God’s children with three things as follows.
- Earth mind.
Philippians 3:18-19
3:18 For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they arethe enemies of the cross of Christ:
3:19 whose end isdestruction, whose god is theirbelly, and whoseglory isin their shame—who set their mind on earthly things.
Earth mind is rejecting the cross, being unwilling to suffer with Jesus, or ministering only to get earthly matters (prosperity and entertainment) without holiness.
- Carnal mind.
Romans 8:5-8
8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who liveaccording to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
8:6 For to be carnally minded isdeath, but to be spiritually minded islife and peace.
8:7 Because the carnal mind isenmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.
8:8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
Carnal mind only follows the flesh desire so one disobeys the will of God.
John 21:3,7
21:3 Simon Peter said to them, “I am going fishing.”They said to him, “We are going with you also.” They went out and immediately got into the boat, and that night they caught nothing.
21:7 Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on hisouter garment (for he had removed it), and plunged into the sea.
The spirit of disobedience is followed by many people (the other disciples follow Peter).
The consequence of being disobedient is not knowing God and being unknown by God. Peter is failed totally and naked. He is not allowed to and cannot minister God.
- Evil and unclean mind.
Jeremiah 3:3
3:3 Therefore the showers have been withheld,
And there has been no latter rain. You have had a harlot’s forehead;
You refuse to be ashamed.
Evil and unclean mind causes one to become unfaithful in ministering God and unjust in his personal life, marriage, and ministry, up to his whole life.
The consequence is the showers are withheld, meaning he cannot understand the true teaching Word or cannot eat the Word, so he is spiritually withered.
Revelation 13:15-18
13:15 He was granted powerto give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.
13:16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads,
13:17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is666.The servants or children of God marked with earth mind, carnal mind, and evil and unclean mind mean they are marked with 666 by antichrist. They have carnal body, carnal spirit, and carnal soul, so they appear as wild beast and do not experience life renewal.
2 Timothy 3:1-5
3:1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:
3:2 For men will be (1)lovers of themselves, (2)lovers of money, (3)boasters, (4)proud, (5)blasphemers, (6)disobedient to parents, (7)unthankful, (8)unholy,
3:3 (9)unloving, (10)unforgiving, (11)slanderers, (12)without self-control, (13)brutal, (14)despisers of good,
3:4 (15)traitors, (16)headstrong, (17)haughty, (18)lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
3:5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! One who is marked by antichrist has 18 sins. It is started with being egoistic and ended with being disobedient.
God is not willing if our life is marked by antichrist. God wants to give us the plate through three ways as follows.
- The stamp of the blood of Jesus that erases all sins and bonds of sin.
Exodus 13:16
13:16 It shall be as a sign on your hand and as frontlets between your eyes, for by strength of hand the Lord brought us out of Egypt.”
Our forehead and hand must be stamped with the blood of Jesus. It means our mind, deed, and words must repent. We must be set free from sins, especially from eight sins that bring man directly to the hell.
Revelation 21:8
21:8 But (1)the cowardly, (2)unbelieving, (3)abominable, (4)murderers, (5)sexually immoral, (6)sorcerers, (7)idolaters, and all (8)liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
- The stamp of Jesus’ name through water baptism.
Matthew 28:19
28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Through water baptism, we are stamped with the name of God the Father, the Son of God, and God the Holy Spirit, that is Lord Jesus Christ. Only the name of Jesus that can save us in this world. There is no other name.
- Through the preaching of the Word.
Deuteronomy 11:18
11:18 “Therefore you shall lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.
The Word of God is stamped in our forehead, heart, and hand. The process is as follows.
- Listening to the Word solemnly, until we understand the Word. It means the Word is stamped in our forehead.
- Believing and having faith on the Word. It means the Word is stamped in our heart.
- Practicing the Word. It means the Word is stamped in our hand.
Deuteronomy 11:19
11:19 You shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.
The proof that our forehead, heart, and hand are stamped by the Word is we talk more about the Word with our husband/ wife and children. We also talk about the other things according to the Word.
Song of Solomon 8:6
8:6 Set me as a seal upon your heart,
As a seal upon your arm; For love is asstrong as death,
Jealousy ascruel as the grave;
Its flames areflames of fire,
A most vehement flame.
The position of the children of God marked with the blood of Jesus, the name of Jesus, and the Word is in the embrace of God’s loving hands that are as strong as death.
The results are as follows.
- The loving hands of God that are as strong as death are able to lift us up from the valley of death, sufferings, sins, and failures.
It means as follows.
- The loving hands of God are able to care and protect us physically and spiritually.
Physically, we are cared and protected in the middle of difficulties in this world up to the days of antichrist. We are protected from all dangers and distress. Spiritually, we are protected from sins up to the peak of sins.
- The loving hands of God are able to solve all our problems even the impossible ones, right on His time. Our task is only leaning on Him. We must not take way out outside the Word, since there are only deadlock and perdition.
- The loving hands of God lift us up from failures to become success.
- The loving hands of God that are as strong as death are able to lift us up to His throne.
Revelation 22:3-4
22:3 And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him.
22:4 They shall see His face, and His name shall beon their foreheads.
It means as follows.
- We are set free from curse, suffering, trouble, weariness, so we experience relief in Him. Everything becomes easy and light in God.
- The loving hands of God give us beautiful future, and we are used in the great revival.
- The loving hands of God purify our life little by little, until we become as perfect as Him on His second coming. We are lifted up to His throne where there are no more tears.
God blesses us.
