Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 12: 3-18 is about the clear and complete appearance of Satan or dragon with his activities on the last days as follows:
- [Revelation 12:4a] His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven.
- [Revelation 12:4b] Devouring.
- [Revelation 12:7] Fighting.
[Revelation 12: 3-12] It happens when Satan is still able to go to heaven to accuse men and do his three activities.
- [Revelation 12:13] Persecuting or catching up fast.
- [Revelation 12:15] Causing the woman or the church of God to be carried away by the flood.
- [Revelation 12:17] Making war or persecuting.
[Revelation 12:13-18] It happens when Satan has been defeated and cast to the earth. He has no place in heaven forever, so he uses his short time before he is bound and destroyed to come down to men, having great wrath in his three activities.
Ad.6.
Making war or persecuting.
Revelation 12:17-13:1
12:17. And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
13:1. And the dragon stood on the shore of the sea.(the NIV translation)
Satan makes war with the rest of the woman's offspring who are not evacuated to the wilderness for three and a half years. It means that Satan tramples, persecutes, and beheads the church of God.
Who are they?
- The descendants of viper.
- The servants of God who are on the shore of the sea. It means that one does not want to cross the sea towards the haven of peace. It is the same as not working in the building of the perfect body of Christ.
- The servants of God who are like the sand of the sea who will be trampled by the dragon for three and a half years.
Genesis 22:15-17
22:15. Then the Angel of the LORD called to Abraham a second time out of heaven,
22:16. and said: "By Myself I have sworn, says the LORD, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son -
22:17. "blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies.
There are two qualities of the church of God as follows:
- One who is like the sand of the sea that will be trampled by the dragon for three and a half years.
- One who is like the star on in the sky. He cannot be trampled but evacuated to the wilderness for three and a half years, far from the eyes of serpent. Then, he will be lifted up on the glorious clouds when Jesus comes a second time. He enters into the haven of peace or the New Jerusalem.
That is why we must increase our spirituality from the sand to the star in the sky, so we are not trampled by the Antichrist, but we are lifted up on the glorious clouds. We enter into Paradise and the New Jerusalem or the haven of peace.
Habakkuk 1:9
1:9. "They all come for violence; Their faces are set like the east wind. They gather captives like sand.
Haggai 1:1
1:1. In the second year of King Darius, in the sixth month, on the first day of the month, the word of the LORD came by Haggai the prophet to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, saying,
The servant of God who is like the sand of the sea is the one who is captured by Satan.
The facts found in it are as follows:
- Not working in the spiritual thing but being busy to look for the physical one, so he is not faithful and fervent in the building of spiritual temple of God. It is the same as not working in the ministry of the building of the body of Christ.
The building of the body of Christ starts from marriage, shepherding, inter-shepherding until the Israelites and Gentiles become one perfect body of Christ.
Haggai 1:2,9
1:2. "Thus speaks the LORD of hosts, saying: 'This people says, "The time has not come, the time that the LORD'S house should be built."'"
1:9. "You looked for much, but indeed it came to little; and when you brought it home, I blew it away. Why?" says the LORD of hosts. "Because of My house that is in ruins, while every one of you runs to his own house.
The consequences are as follows:
- The spirituality is broken. He gets bored in the ministry to God up to leaving it. He gets bored in praying and reading the Bible.
- Experiencing the physical and spiritual dryness.
Haggai 1:10-11
1:10. "Therefore the heavens above you withhold the dew, and the earth withholds its fruit.
1:11. "For I called for a drought on the land and the mountains, on the grain and the new wine and the oil, on whatever the ground brings forth, on men and livestock, and on all the labor of your hands."
The spiritual dryness means being without the grain, oil, and the new wine. It means being without the word, Holy Spirit, and love, so one does not experience satisfaction. Consequently, he will look for unusual satisfactions in the world up to falling into the sins of Babylon, namely the sins of eating-drinking and marrying-giving in marriage.
The physical dryness means that one gets into trouble and shortage.
- Vanity. It means that one cannot enjoy the things he gets.
Haggai 1:6
1:6. "You have sown much, and bring in little; You eat, but do not have enough; You drink, but you are not filled with drink; You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm; And he who earns wages, Earns wages to put into a bag with holes."
If it continues, one will be destroyed.
Matthew 6:33
6:33. "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
The right attitude is that we must look for the heavenly thing more than the worldly one. We must minister to God faithfully, correctly, and fervently until the finish line.
Acts 20:22,24
20:22. "And see, now I go bound in the spirit to Jerusalem, not knowing the things that will happen to me there,
20:24. "But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.
The result is that all things will be added.
The plus sign refers to the cross. We live from the cross abundantly. It never runs out. It is always a surplus, not minus. We can become the blessing for others. We experience the atmosphere of Canaan and the heavenly bliss up to eternal life in heaven.
- Working in the ministry of the building of the body of Christ but only looking at people or the worldly thing.
Exodus 2:11-12
2:11. Now it came to pass in those days, when Moses was grown, that he went out to his brethren and looked at their burdens. And he saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his brethren.
2:12. So he looked this way and that way, and when he saw no one, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand.
Moses was active but he was wrong. He looked this way and that way or just looked at people.
The consequences are as follows:
- Hiding the dead body in the sand.
It refers to hypocrisy, decay, hatred without a cause as well as killing, namely gossip and slander.
- The ministry does not please God and others.
- Getting failed in the ministry and becoming a killer.
That is why our spirituality must increase from the sand to the star or from the captivity of Satan to the one of Spirit. It means that we just see God or the true teaching word in the ministry, so we are purified from decay and hypocrisy. We minister to God in holiness and peace.
Acts 20:25
20:25. "And indeed, now I know that you all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, will see my face no more.
"will see my face no more" means that the congregation has been taught to see God or the true teaching word, so they can minister to Him in holiness and peace.
In holiness and peace, we will see God or worship Him.
The result is that all things become easy and light. Our ministry pleases God, so He pleases us too.
- Working in the ministry of the building of the body of Christ, but not obeying Jesus or the true teaching word. He just follows the lust of the flesh, not the will of God.
The true teaching word is the one whose secret is revealed through one verse that explains the other verses in the Holy Bible.
Matthew 7:26-27
7:26. "But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand:
7:27. "and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall."
The consequence of being disobedient is that one cannot survive facing the attack of the trinity of Satan as follows:
- The rain. It refers to Satan with unclean and evil spirits as the trigger of sin.
If one cannot survive, he will commit sins up to the peak, namely the sins of eating-drinking and marrying-giving in marriage.
- The winds. It refers to the false prophet with the power of false teaching or lying spirit that makes us doubt to the true teaching up to leaving it.
The winds also refer to the temptations in all things that make us disappointed and desperate as well as leave God or the true teaching word.
- The floods. It refers to the Antichrist who attacks the finance; even there is the spirit of selling-buying in the church of God because it is bound by the will of money. It means ministering to God to look for money, so the ministry becomes a profession that is rated by money.
It also means looking for money by legalizing all ways. At last, one becomes greedy and stingy.
Stinginess means that one cannot give.
Greediness means that one steals the possession of God, namely the tithe and special offering, and the one of others.
Consequently, one falls, and great is its fall. It cannot be built anymore. The house of God which is the house of prayer cannot be fixed, so one is destroyed forever.
When does it happen? It happens when one cannot hear the Word and receive God's mercy anymore.
As long as we can hear the Word, we will receive God's mercy, so we are still able to be fixed.
The example is King David.
Acts 20:22-23
20:22. "And see, now I go bound in the spirit to Jerusalem, not knowing the things that will happen to me there,
20:23. "except that the Holy Spirit testifies in every city, saying that chains and tribulations await me.
That is why we must increase from the sand to the star, namely the captivity of the Spirit. We become obedient until our flesh does not speak anymore.
The results are as follows:
- We can endure until the finish line. We will never fall.
- The spiritual miracle happens.
John 21:6,11
21:6. And He said to them, "Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some." So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish.
21:11. Simon Peter went up and dragged the net to land, full of large fish, one hundred and fifty-three; and although there were so many, the net was not broken.
1 + 5 + 3 = 9. It refers to the mercy.
One who is shepherded in the miraculous and great God's merciful hands will experience the spiritual miracle, namely the renewal of life from the fleshly men to the spiritual ones like Jesus with the number one hundred and fifty-three.
The number three means that our body, soul, and spirit are purified and changed to become the spiritual men.
Ephesians 4:22-25
4:22. that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts,
4:23. and be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
4:24. and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
4:25. Therefore, putting away lying, "Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor," for we are members of one another.
We are changed up to there is no lie. Honesty is the fact that we are in the body of Christ. We are honest about God, and then money.
Ephesians 4:11-12
4:11. And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12. for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
The number five means that we receive the tunic of many colors or the robe of service. Our life becomes beautiful and we are used in the building of the perfect body of Christ.
Ephesians 4:13-15
4:13. till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;
4:14. that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,
4:15. but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head--Christ--
The number one means that we enter into the one perfect body of Christ. We become one body of Christ with one Head or one true teaching word.
- The physical miracle happens. We are counted by God although we are just a powerless hair.
It means that God always remembers, cares, understands, and stretches out His merciful hand to perform physical miracle. He takes care of us abundantly. He creates something that does not exist yet. The impossible thing becomes possible.
It continues until the last miracle, namely we are changed to become as perfect as He is, so we are worthy to greet Him when He comes a second time. We just say: "Alleluia". It is the big house of prayer on the glorious clouds until we become the eternal house of prayer in the New Jerusalem.
God blesses us.
