Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 15:5-8
15:5 After these things I looked, and behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened.
15:6 And out of the temple came the seven angels having the seven plagues, clothed in pure bright linen, and having their chests girded with golden bands.
15:7 Then one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God who lives forever and ever.
15:8 The temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power, and no one was able to enter the temple till the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.
'the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened'means as follows:
- We have been in the victory as follows:
- The victory over the trinity of Satan, namely Satan, the Antichrist, and false prophets.
Revelation 15:2
15:2 And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victoryover the beast, over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God.
- The victory over the flesh or the enemy from inside.
- The victory over temptations.
- We are set free from the last judgment of God, namely the seven plagues to the world.
We learn about the victory over temptations.
James 1:13-15
1:13 Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.
1:14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed.
1:15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.
Temptations come from the fleshly lusts which have the two strong powers as follows:
- The power that strongly entices until one is enticed or he falls in love until being inseparable from the fleshly lusts.
- The power that strongly draws away until one is drawn away from the will of God and the fleshly lusts cannot be controlled anymore. When the desire has conceived or it is done, one will fall in sins up to the peak. When it is full-grown, one cannot repent and it brings forth death or perdition.
Jeremiah 9:5-6
9:5 Everyone will deceive his neighbor, And will not speak the truth; They have taught their tongue to speak lies; They weary themselves to commit iniquity.
9:6 Your dwelling place is in the midst of deceit; Through deceit they refuse to know Me," says the LORD.The characteristic of the flesh is only committing sin, but not being willing to repent. The evil is covered by evil until they are heaped and covered by lies and there is no chance to repent like Satan.
The life journey of man is like a boat sailing in the sea of the world to go to the harbor of peace or the everlasting heavenly kingdom. There must be the wind and waves with the power of death from Satan.
There are three kinds of temptations as follows:
- The wave of the seaas follows:
- The temptations in physical aspects, namely economy or finance, health or disease, study, marriage partner, and so on.
- The temptations in spiritual aspects, namely sins up to not being willing to serve to God.
- The strong windor the false teachings and ministry.
- The hatred without a cause.
John 15:25
15:25 "But this happened that the word might be fulfilled which is written in their law, 'They hated Me without a cause.'
John 16:1-2
16:1 "These things I have spoken to you, that you should not be made to stumble.
16:2 "They will put you out of the synagogues; yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service.
It causes the isolation, persecution, and massacre when the Antichrist reigns over the world for three and a half years.
The purpose of Satan tempting with the power of the death is to make men drown in the sea of the world up to the sea of fire and brimstone and perish forever in the hell.
When God lets us face temptations, He wants that we are victorious with Him and the door of the heavenly kingdom is opened for us.
How are our attitudes in facing the temptations?
Genesis 3:1-7
3:1 Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said,'You shall not eat of every tree of the garden'?"
3:2 And the woman said to the serpent, "We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden;
3:3 "but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said,'You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.'"
3:4 Then the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die.
3:5 "For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."
3:6 So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.
3:7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.
Adam and Eve in garden Eden had needed nothing because of the abundant blessings. Nevertheless, Eve was tempted by the false teaching because of her unfaithfulness to the true teaching Word, so she added, took away, or changed the Word until being the same as the false teaching from Satan until it was eaten or done. Consequently, Adam and Eve committed sin and they were under the power of the death up to perdition.
Matthew 4:1
4:1 Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.
Nevertheless, Jesus as the last Adam or the Heavenly Bridegroom is always faithful to the true teaching Word until being victorious always over temptations. We must be enticed to the true teaching Word or God's will.
The victory of Jesus over the temptations is the base of our victory as the bride over the temptations.
2 Corinthians 11:1-4
11:1 Oh, that you would bear with me in a little folly--and indeed you do bear with me.
11:2 For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
11:3 But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
11:4 For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted--you may well put up with it!
In the time of engagement or the end of the last days when Jesus will come a second time for lifting us up on the glorious clouds to enter the marriage supper of the Lamb, the church of the Gentiles is in the blessings or all things are provided like Adam and Eve in garden Eden. Such thing made Paul the apostle afraid because the hard temptations such as economy and health problems could not shake the faithfulness of the church in holding fast the true teaching Word, but the temptations such as the seduction, persuasion, false teachings, and all things which were suitable for the flesh could make the church lose the simplicity which was in Christ or the true teaching Word. It means losing the holiness or virginity until being defeated, destroyed, and swallowed by the death forever.
The examples and results of faithfulness are as follows:
- The faithfulness is measured when our power is little or nothing.
Revelation 3:7-10
3:7 "And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, 'These things says He who is holy, He who is true, "He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens":
3:8 "I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.
3:9 "Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie--indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.
3:10 "Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.
It is especially the faithfulness in obeying the Word (the Table of Showbread) and perseverance in waiting for Jesus' second coming. There is great power of God for opening the doors in the world. We have solution from all impossible problems or temptations. The power of God protects and preserves us miraculously in the midst of difficulty in the world until the time when the Antichrist reigns over the world for three and a half years.
- Being faithful in the service and ministry to God (the Golden Candlestick).
Matthew 25:21-23
25:21 "His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'
25:22 "He also who had received two talents came and said, 'Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.'
25:23 "His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'
We are faithful and responsible in the little things.
Matthew 25:24-26,30
25:24 "Then he who had received the one talent came and said, 'Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed.
25:25 'And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.'
25:26 "But his lord answered and said to him, 'You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed.
25:30 'And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'
The servant who is unfaithful and irresponsible in little things is evil, lazy, and unprofitable. It is better to be a faithful servant than an unfaithful pastor.
Laziness and evil are the same as belittling the one talent from God. Actually, receiving the one talent is the same as having the first starting point according to the formula of the heavenly kingdom, namely from nothing to something and from the little thing to the great one.
One who is faithful and good in the service and ministry to God must be victorious over all temptations and entrusted with the great thing, namely the ministry for edifying the perfect body of Christ until the door of the marriage supper of the Lamb is opened and we get the top of joy together with Jesus of the Heavenly Bridegroom.
- Being faithful in using the short time for using the mouth correctly.
Luke 23:41-43
23:41 "And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong."
23:42 Then he said to Jesus, "Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom."
23:43 And Jesus said to him, "Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise."
The mouth or the door of the heart is opened for crying out the name of Jesus and worshiping God. As a result, the door of Paradise is opened. We get the atmosphere of paradise from now on in the world. There are abundant protection and preservation until we can give thanks and become blessings for others. All temptations have been finished by God. We get peace and all things become easy and light.
It continues until we stand on the sea of glass mingled with fire and sing the song of victory. Afterwards, the door of heaven is opened and we enter the everlasting heavenly kingdom.
God blesses you.
