CHILD SUBMISSION SERVICEExodus2:62:6 And when she opened it,she saw the child, and behold, the baby wept. So she had compassion on him, and said, "This is one of the Hebrews' children."
There are two kinds of baby in this world:- Carnal baby who is born by physical mother. It results in blood and flesh life which is only proper for life in the world, but cannot inherit the Heaven.
As good as any human in the world, his condition is just as the baby of Moses in the river, who has no power to face:
- the threat of crocodile, hippopotamus, etc. = the temptations.
- the Pharaoh's daughter = physical perdition, the death caused by sins.
- Spiritual babywho is proper for life in Heaven.
I Peter2:1-2
2:1.Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking,
2:2 as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby,
The processes are as follows:
- Throwing away the sins/ repenting.
- Being newly born through the water baptism, which results in a new heart, a good heart.
If heart is good, mouth will be good.
The thing which enters the mouth isthe right shepherding Word, as babes desire the pure milk (being well shepherded).
A pastor or a mother has responsibility to provide food for the sheep/ spiritual babes. If a pastor does not want to feed the sheep or spiritual babes, he is an egoistic pastor. The sheep are also egoistic if they do not want to eat the shepherding Word.
The thing which comes out from the mouth isonly crying or worshiping God.
When we have no strength, our arm is just crying to God.
If heart and mouth are good, our life must be within the hands of the good Shepherd.
The good Shepherd gives His life for the sheep.
John10:11, 28
10:11 "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.
10:28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.
The results are as follows:
- The hands of the good Shepherd are able to care our life physically in the middle of the difficult world, also care our spiritual life (we keep living in righteousness and holiness until perfection).
- The hands of the good Shepherd are able to give us beautiful future.
- The hands of the good Shepherd are able to purify and renew us until we will become one flock (one perfect body of Christ).
John10:16
10:16 And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock andone shepherd.
GENERAL SERVICEMatthew26:1-426:1. Now it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these sayings, thatHe said to His disciples,
26:2 "You know that after two days is the Passover, and the Son of Man will be delivered up to be crucified."
26:3 Then the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders of the people assembled at the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas,
26:4 and plotted to take Jesus by trickery and kill Him.
In Old Testament, the Passover was marked with the slaughtering of animal for sacrifice.
In New Testament, the Passover was marked with the crucifixion of Jesus as the Lamb of God.
The requirements for the lamb of Passover are as follows:
Exodus12:512:5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year. You may take itfrom the sheep or from the goats.- A male.
- One year old = mature.
- Without blemish.
Jesus fulfills the requirements as the lamb of Passover;
- A male.
- Mature.
Luke3:23
3:23 Now Jesus Himself began His ministry atabout thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) theson of Joseph, the sonof Heli,
Jesus started His ministry at about thirty years of age (at mature age), according to the statute in Old Testament.
Numbers4:3
4:3 from thirty years old and above, even to fifty years old, all who enter the service to do the work in the tabernacle of meeting.
- Without any sins.
Luke23:47
23:47 So when the centurion saw what had happened, he glorified God, saying, "Certainly this was a righteous Man!"
John8:46
8:46.Which of you convicts Me of sin?And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me?
John18:38b
18:38b And when he had said this, he went out again to the Jews, and said to them, "I find no fault in Him at all.
Jesus is proper to be the lamb of Passover.
Jesus is the only man without any sins = the only Savior for people, there is no other way of salvation. The regulation for the Passover:
Exodus12:14-1512:14 'So this day shall be to you a memorial; and you shall keep it as a feast to the LORD throughout your generations. You shall keep it as a feast by an everlasting ordinance.
12:15 Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. On the first day you shall remove leaven from your houses. For whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that person shall be cut off from Israel.
The Passover is done with eating unleavened bread = there should be no leaven. Whoever hides or eats leavened bread must be cut off from Israel.
The definition of leaven in New Testament: - Leaven = false teaching.
Be watchful! A little leaven leavens the whole lump. God's servant who preaches the false teaching will perish the whole congregation.
- Leaven = sin.
Ad. 2. THE LEAVEN OF SINLeaven grows in the darkness. Thus, if sin is hidden inside heart and mind, it will grow faster until explode and become the peak of sins.
I Corinthians5:7-85:7. Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.
5:8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened breadof sincerity and truth.
There are two types of the leaven of sin as follows:- The leaven of wickedness (outside) = sinful words and deeds.
- The leaven of malice (inside).
Thus,
the leaven of sin destroys/ ruins God's children physically and spiritually (body, soul, and spirit) = the broken clay pot = Lazarus who has died and decayed for four days.
Therefore
we have to become assertive to throw away the leave of sin!Better throwing away the leaven (sin, false teaching) than we are perished forever.
The process of throwing away the leaven of sin:
- Through the work of the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
II Corinthians4:3-4
4:3But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,
4:4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
Leaven works in dark place, and therefore it needs to be shined by the light.
There are two types of the preaching of God's word.
We need to be saved by the work of the salvation gospel (the gospel Word).
But all of us are still doing sins, and we need the sword of Word (the teaching Word).
Hebrews4:12
4:12 For the word of God isliving and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
On the breastplate of the High Priest's garments, there are urim and thummim.
Thummim = the Word which is sharper than any two-edged sword.
Where there is the Word, there is the presence of the High Priest.
The sword of Word is able to pierce until the intents of the heart, shine the heart such that the leaven of sins cannot last (we are purified).
- The light of the Holy Spirit will convict us of sin.
John16:7-8
16:7. Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.
16:8 And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
Flesh man does not realize sins, even tends to hide sins. We need Holy Spirit to convict us of sins.
Urim = the light of Holy Spirit.
Hebrews4:13
4:13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things arenaked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must giveaccount.
If there is the light of the teaching Word in the anointing of Holy Spirit (urim and thummim), there will be no hidden sins, even any little unconscious sins.
If every sin is revealed, the rest is whether we accept the Word or not.
Example:I Samuel 14:40-4514:40 Then he said to all Israel, "You be on one side, and my son Jonathan and I will be on the other side." And the people said to Saul, "Do what seems good to you."
14:41 Therefore Saul said to the LORD God of Israel, "Give a perfect lot." So Saul and Jonathan were taken, but the people escaped.
14:42 And Saul said, "Cast lotsbetween my son Jonathan and me." So Jonathan was taken.
14:43 Then Saul said to Jonathan, "Tell me what you have done."
And Jonathan told him, and said, "I only tasted a little honey with the end of the rod that wasin my hand. So now I must die!"
14:44 Saul answered, "God do so and more also; for you shall surely die, Jonathan."
14:45 But the people said to Saul, "Shall Jonathan die, who has accomplished this great deliverance in Israel? Certainly not! Asthe LORD lives, not one hair of his head shall fall to the ground, for he has worked with God this day." So the people rescued Jonathan, and he did not die.
Urim andThummim (the teaching Word and the anointing of Holy Spirit)are able to purify us until any little and insignificant sins.
The work of the teaching Word in the anointing of Holy Spirit will encourage us to
really and totally confess our sins. It means as follows:
- Confessing sins with awareness and regret.
Confessing = realizing that I am the guilty one.
- Confessing sins honestly and dare to bear whatever the risk.
I John1:7, 91:7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us oursinsand to cleanse usfrom all unrighteousness.
If we confess our sins solemnly and totally (not hiding any leaven of sin),
there will be no judgment, but
the blood of Jesus (the light of God's love) is active to do two things as follows:- The blood of Jesus forgives/ covers our sins, until there is no more trace, as we never did any sins.
- The blood of Jesus pulls out the root of sins (purifies us)such that we do not do sins anymore.
Only the strength of the Word and Holy Spirit are able to solve human's sin, it cannot be done by another strength (richness, intelligence, etc.).
The position of life who is purified by urim and thummim:
Exodus28:3028:30 And you shall put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim, and they shall be over Aaron's heartwhen he goes in before the LORD. So Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel over his heart before the LORD continually.
Life who has been purified by the sword of Word in the anointing of Holy Spirit is over the High Priest's heart = inside the embrace of the High Priest's hands.
In the embrace of the High Priest, we can feel God's heart beat. It means as follows:- We can feel God's love which never changes, such that we also can always love God (as each heart beat denotes the blood flow).
- We can feel God's faithfulness (as the heart beats faithfully).
Let us, who have doubted God because any difficulties in this world, come back to the purification of the leaven of sin and let us lean on God's bosom;
- We love God more than others.
- We are always faithful to Him.
And we will be able to feel that God cares us, He struggles with us and protects us.
I Samuel 14:4514:45 But the people said to Saul, "Shall Jonathan die, who has accomplished this great deliverance in Israel? Certainly not! Asthe LORD lives, not one hair of his head shall fall to the ground, for he has worked with God this day." So the people rescued Jonathan, and he did not die.
The results are as follows:
- Not one hair of the head shall fall to the ground.
Our lives will not be thrown away. But if we keep the leaven of sin, all ministry and success in life will be thrown away.
= the High Priest's hands of love and mercy are able to care and protect us, although we have no strength as one hair.
= the High Priest's hands of faithfulness and mercy cover us and set us free from the judgment of God.
- Not one hair of the head will fall in the middle of wave and tempest.
Acts27:33-34
27:33 And as day was about to dawn, Paul imploredthemall to take food, saying, "Today is the fourteenth day you have waited and continued without food, and eaten nothing.
27:34 Therefore I urge you to take nourishment, for this is for your survival, since not a hair will fall from the head of any of you."
= the High Priest's hands of faithfulness and mercy are able to help us from every problem even the impossible one, right on His time and will not be late.
- Not one hair of the head will fall = perfect.
= In the embrace of the High Priest's hands, we can become one perfect body of Christ.
Song of Solomon7:5
7:5 Your head crownsyou like MountCarmel, And the hair of your head islike purple; A king isheld captive by yourtresses.
Red color is the sign of blood or love. Purple color denotes glory.
If we confess sin and back to righteousness and holiness, we will receive God's love.
The High Priest's hands of love and mercy are able to unite even perfect us to become one perfect body of Christ (God's bride).
Colossians3:14
3:14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.
Where there is red purple color, there a king is held captive. It means Jesus as Kings wants to unite with life who throws away the leaven of sin and lives in righteousness and holiness.
The example is two criminals who were crucified together with Jesus.
Luke23:41-43
23:41 And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong."
23:42 Then he said to Jesus, "Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom."
23:43 And Jesus said to him, "Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise."
The first criminal rejected purification, and kept the leaven of sin.
The second criminal accepted purification, threw away the leaven of sin, and went back to righteousness and holiness, and received Jesus as Kings.
Whatever our conditions, either as one hair (have no strength) or as criminal (fail and be unclean), if we throw away the leaven of sin and go back to the righteousness and holiness (back to the embrace of the High Priest), Jesus as Kings wants to unite with us and gives us the ambience of Paradise.
God blesses us.
