Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 11:111:1 Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the angel stood, saying, "Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there.
The measuring rod refers to the rod of the shepherd, the shepherding word, or the true teaching word which is entrusted by God to a pastor to be preached to the congregation faithfully, sequentially, continually, and repetitively, so it becomes food for them to make them strong to follow and serve God and grow to the spiritual maturity.
There are two cautions about the food as follows:
- Men must eat, because if they do not eat, they can be sick (doing sin) and dead (being dead in spirituality and perishing).
- Do not eat the wrong food (the false teaching) because men can be sick and dead.
The shepherding word also becomes a commanding rod which determines the things that we must do and cannot be done and the direction which we must take so that we do neither fall in sins nor get lost in the wilderness of the world, but keep on going to the last shepherding pen or the New Jerusalem.
The shepherding word as the commanding rod measures the two things as follows:
- The temple of God. It refers to our life and fellowship (Marriage, shepherding, et cetera).
- The altar and those who worship there (The Golden Altar of Incense) , namely the service and ministry to God and the worship prayer.
The measurement of the worship prayer which is measured by the shepherding word is the obedience until the flesh does not speak anymore or the Veil is torn. We reach the perfection and become the heavenly bride.
1 Timothy 2:1-22:1 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men.
2:2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. There are four levels of the prayer as follows:
- The supplication prayer or the prayer to ask something.
The center is our need.
John 15:7
15:7 "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
The requirement so that the supplication prayer is answered by God is that the word of God must become the faith in our heart. The things which we ask to God must be by faith and in line with His will.
As a result, we get the blessings of God that make us nearer to Him.
We must be watchful because there is a false teaching which teaches men to put the things which they want in their heat and pray, and they will get it for sure. Their prayer will be taken by Satan, so they get the false blessing or the temptation from Satan which makes them far away from God and unfaithful, until leaving the service and ministry and being dry spiritually.
We also must be watchful, do not be satisfied only by the supplication prayer, even though it is answered by God and we get the blessing from Him because we will become the same as the blind Bartimaeus who begged. Being blind means living in the darkness of sin and not knowing the way to the New Jerusalem. Therefore, the supplication prayer must be increased.
- The intercession prayer.
The center is the need of other people, church, country, et cetera. It still asks for something, so it must be increased too.
- The giving thanks prayer.
The center is the blessing which we have received from God.
Nevertheless, men often give thanks to God only when they are blessed, but they murmur when they are not blessed.
Therefore, it must be increased until we can give thanks in everything.
- The worship prayer.
1 Timothy 2:8
2:8 I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
Psalms 141:2
141:2 Let my prayer be set before You as incense, The lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
The center is Jesus. So, we can worship Him anywhere, anytime, and in any circumstances.
The worship prayer means lifting hands, surrendering, and giving all praises and honors to God until we can surrender our whole life to Him.
The requirement of the worship prayer which is well-pleasing to God is the outward holiness (deeds) and the inward one (heart)
The worship prayer with the holiness is like ascending into the hill. It means that it must increase.
Psalms 24:3-4
24:3 Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who may stand in His holy place?
24:4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully.
It continues until we ascend to the high hill where there is the city of the New Jerusalem.
Matthew 17:1
17:1 Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves.
The number six refers to the number of the flesh. The worship prayer is the process to tear the flesh with all of its lusts and desires until it does not speak anymore (the Veil is torn). We are as perfect as Jesus.
What must be torn?
- The mind of the flesh.
Romans 8:5
8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
It refers to the fleshly thoughts which reject the cross, do not want to suffer in flesh or sacrifice for God, and become the enemy of cross.
Philippians 3:18-21
3:18 For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
3:19 whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame--who set their mind on earthly things.
3:20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,
3:21 who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.
The fleshly mind only aims to the things which are good for the flesh or the physical ones even though they are not in line to the word of God or they sacrifice other people and God.
The facts found in it are serving and ministering to God only to look for the physical things, leaving the service and ministry to look for the physical things, and not experiencing the life renewal. They keep the fleshly man until they perish forever.
The fleshly mind must be torn so that men have the spiritual mind and they can prioritize God more than anything in the world even though they must sacrifice everything.
- The desires of the flesh.
Romans 8:6-7
8:6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.
The fleshly desires are as follows:
- The wickedness. It refers to the will of money which makes men become stingy and greedy.
- The uncleanness. It refers to the sins of eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage.
- The bitterness of heart.
The fleshly desires make men disobey the word of God.
Matthew 7:21-23
7:21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
7:22 "Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?'
7:23 "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'
The ministry to God which is not in line with His will is the same as practicing lawlessness until being cast to the hell
The Fleshly desires must be torn to be the obedience.
- The deeds of the flesh.
Galatians 5:19-21
5:19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
5:20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
5:21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
The fleshly deeds up to the peak sins make men not inherit the heavenly kingdom. They must be torn to be the right, holy, and good ones until repaying good for evil.
- The characteristics of the flesh.
Mark 14:33-36
14:33 And He took Peter, James, and John with Him, and He began to be troubled and deeply distressed.
14:34 Then He said to them, "My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch."
14:35 He went a little farther, and fell on the ground, and prayed that if it were possible, the hour might pass from Him.
14:36 And He said, "Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will."
Sorrow, disappointment, and hopelessness must be torn, so men can feel the heavenly joy although in the midst of sorrows.
The trouble, distress, and worry are torn to be the fear of God.
The disobedience is torn to be the obedience until the flesh does not speak anymore. We only say "Abba, Father".
Luke 22:43
22:43 Then an angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him.
Holy Spirit is poured out.
Galatians 4:6
4:6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, "Abba, Father!"
The functions of Holy Spirit are as follows:
- Holy Spirit burns or sanctifies the Gentiles until they become a sweet-smelling aroma before God.
Romans 15:16
15:16 that I might be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
We are used to be the witness of God who brings the fragrance of Christ through the gospel and the teaching word. We experience the heavenly satisfaction.
- Holy Spirit makes us faithful and fervent in spirit, serving and ministering to God until the end line.
Romans 12:11
12:11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.
Men who are holy, faithful and fervent in spirit become the apple of God's eye. It means that they are protected and preserved by Him.
- The fire of Holy Spirit is with us who are weak to give the victory over the enemies who are stronger and finish all of our impossible problems.
2 Kings 6:16-23
6:16 So he answered, "Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them."
6:17 And Elisha prayed, and said, "LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see." Then the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
6:18 So when the Syrians came down to him, Elisha prayed to the LORD, and said, "Strike this people, I pray, with blindness." And He struck them with blindness according to the word of Elisha.
6:19 Now Elisha said to them, "This is not the way, nor is this the city. Follow me, and I will bring you to the man whom you seek." But he led them to Samaria.
6:20 So it was, when they had come to Samaria, that Elisha said, "LORD, open the eyes of these men, that they may see." And the LORD opened their eyes, and they saw; and there they were, inside Samaria!
6:21 Now when the king of Israel saw them, he said to Elisha, "My father, shall I kill them? Shall I kill them?"
6:22 But he answered, "You shall not kill them. Would you kill those whom you have taken captive with your sword and your bow? Set food and water before them, that they may eat and drink and go to their master."
6:23 Then he prepared a great feast for them; and after they ate and drank, he sent them away and they went to their master. So the bands of Syrian raiders came no more into the land of Israel.
There is peace and all things are easy and light.
It continues until the fire of Holy Spirit changes us to be as glorious as Jesus and we ascend to the glorious clouds when Jesus comes for the second time.
God blesses you.
