Matthew 25:1-13Jesus will come a second time in glory as Heavenly Bridegroom. Only perfect Bride as He is may welcome Him.
Matthew 25:2-425:2 "Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
25:3 "Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them,
25:4 "but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
Church of God is as ten virgins welcoming His second coming who can be divided into two groups below:
- Five wise virgins having the oil for supply who are successful to welcome His second coming.
- Five foolish virgins having no oil for supply who will be left when Jesus comes a second time, meaning being perished forever.
1 Corinthians 1:181:18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
The practice of being foolish is rejecting the cross of the Lord.Philippians 3:18-193:18 For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
3:19 whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame--who set their mind on earthly things.
The foolish Church
only prioritizes physical matters, not the Word. Consequently, there is lukewarmness as the Laodiceans had.
Revelation 3:15-173:15 "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.
3:16 "So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.
3:17 "Because you say, 'I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing' --and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked--
2 Timothy 3:1-53:1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:
3:2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3:3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good,
3:4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
3:5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!Such commits service to God but with the mark of antichrist 666, being same with antichrist and left when Jesus comes a second time, being perished forever.
On the contrary, the wise Church takes up the cross.2 Corinthians 1:8-91:8 For we do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, of our trouble which came to us in Asia: that we were burdened beyond measure, above strength, so that we despaired even of life.
1:9 Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead.
Why do we have to suffer? It is that we should not trust in ourselves but trust and entrust ourselves in God who raises the dead.
Jeremiah 9:23-249:23 Thus says the LORD: "Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, Let not the mighty man glory in his might, Nor let the rich man glory in his riches;
9:24 But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight," says the LORD.
Jeremiah 17:517:5Thus says the LORD: "Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the LORD.
Intelligence, riches, and power are all good but we can trust in them.
Let us now trust in God who is full of righteousness, justice, and mercy.
The conclusion is below: It is the time to entrust ourselves in God who is full of righteousness, justice, and mercy when we suffer in the flesh together with the Lord having the power of resurrection. One who can trust and entrust himself in God is trusted also by Him.There are at least three things God trusts to us as follows:- The revelation of the Word of God.
Romans 3:1-2
3:1 What advantage then has the Jew, or what is the profit of circumcision?
3:2 Much in every way! Chiefly because to them were committed the oracles of God.
Acts 13:46
13:46 Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold and said, "It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first; but since you reject it, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles.
It is actually trusted to Israelites but a chance is opened for Gentiles because a part of the Israelites rejected it. Thus, it is the mercy of God that the Gentiles may receive the Word of God.
Deuteronomy 4:5-6
4:5"Surely I have taught you statutes and judgments, just as the LORD my God commanded me, that you should act according to them in the land which you go to possess.
4:6 "Therefore be careful to observe them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples who will hear all these statutes, and say, 'Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.'
We have to hear it seriously, understand, believe and obey it. In such manners we trust and entrust ourselves in the God who is full of righteousness.
Obeying the Word, we get the wisdom of God which gives us these results:
- Success in our life.
Ecclesiastes 10:10
10:10 If the ax is dull, And one does not sharpen the edge, Then he must use more strength; But wisdom brings success.
- Protection from antichrist.
Revelation 13:18
13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.
- Mina/talent --> priest's offices and the gifts of Holy Spirit.
Luke 19:12-13
19:12 Therefore He said: "A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and to return.
19:13 "So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come.
The ten servants were given ten minas, referring to the justice of the Lord.
Having priest's offices and the gifts of Holy Spirit, one becomes priest and king.
Exodus 19:6
19:6 'And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.' These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel."
1 Peter 2:9-10
2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
2:10 who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.
Actually, only Israelites may become priests and kings but the Gentiles may takes part because of the mercy of God.
It is the trust of God, whose price is the sacrifice of Christ. Do not make it vain!
Let us now be faithful and able to be trusted in committing the ministry.
It is equal with trusting and entrusting ourselves in God who is full of justice.
Matthew 25:21
25:21 "His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'
Being faithful in committing service and ministry to the Lord, we get a heavenly joy which cannot be influenced by anything in the world until we have the peak of joy in the marriage supper of the Lamb when Jesus comes a second time.
On the other hand, there is no joy in unfaithfulness.
- Jesus Himself.
Matthew 15:24
15:24 But He answered and said, "I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."
Matthew 1:21
1:21 "And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins."
In fact, Jesus Himself is only for Israelites, the lost sheep, not for the Gentiles who are as the dog.
Romans 11:25
11:25 For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.
Nevertheless, a part of Israelites rejected Jesus so the chance is opened for the Gentiles to receive Jesus Himself through eating the crumbs.
Matthew 15:26-27
15:26 But He answered and said, "It is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the little dogs."
15:27 And she said, "Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbswhich fall from their masters' table."
The crumbs mean the revelation of the Word of God and the Holy Communion.
We are being lifted up from the dog to the shepherded sheep through committing Bible Study Service.
Being patient in sheepfold means we trust and entrust ourselves in God who is full of compassion.
As a result, we live in the merciful hand of Great Shepherd as follows:
- The Gentiles have the power of healing and resurrection.
Matthew 15:28
15:28 Then Jesus answered and said to her, "O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire." And her daughter was healed from that very hour.
Mark 5:22,42
5:22 And behold, one of the rulers of the synagogue came, Jairus by name. And when he saw Him, he fell at His feet
5:42 Immediately the girl arose and walked, for she was twelve years of age. And they were overcome with great amazement.
It means as follows:
- All dead matters can be raised,
- Quenched lamp can burn again,
- Destroyed marriage may be healed,
- Dead future life can be renewed to become beautiful one.
- The Lord preserves and sanctifies our life until we become blameless at the time of His second coming, We become His Bride worthy to be called by His name.
Isaiah 4:1
4:1. And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, "We will eat our own food and wear our own apparel; Only let us be called by your name, To take away our reproach."
Hosea 2:18
2:18"I will betroth you to Me forever; Yes, I will betroth you to Me In righteousness and justice, In lovingkindness and mercy.
God blesses you.
