Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 2-3 is about the last sanctification to the seven churches of the Gentiles or all of us, until we are perfect and blameless as Jesus, to be worthy to welcome His second coming on the glorious clouds.
Although we have many excellences, but if there is a blemish, we will be left on His second coming.
Revelation 3:7-13 is about the church in Philadelphia.
Revelation 3:73:7 “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, ‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true, “He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”:There are three appearances of Jesus to the church in Philadelphia as follows.
- Jesus appears as He who is true.
- Jesus appears as He who is holy.
- Jesus appears as He who has the key of David.
ad. 3. Jesus appears as He who has the key of David.
The physical key of David is the key of the kingdom of Judah hold by King David.
The spiritual key of David is the key of the kingdom of Heaven hold by Jesus as the King of kings.
John 18:3618:36 Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.”The spiritual key of David is hold by Jesus to be given to one who is worthy to receive it.
This key of David is for opening the door of the kingdom of Heaven that cannot be shut by anyone. If it is shut, none can open it.
The opening of the door of the kingdom of Heaven equals to the opening of the heaven. There are three times of the opening of the heaven as follows.
- When Jesus is baptized in water.
Matthew 3:13-17
3:13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him.
3:14 And John tried toprevent Him, saying, “I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?”
3:15 But Jesus answered and said to him, “Permit it to be sonow, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him.
3:16 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.
3:17 And suddenly a voice camefrom heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
Water baptism is the key of the kingdom of Heaven.
Actually Jesus is a sinless man and does not need to be baptized. But why does Jesus willingly enter water baptism?
- To fulfill all the will of Father God, meaning being obedient.
Entering water baptism is to do the will of God and obey the Word. Water baptism must not be ordered or prohibited.
- To become example for us about the true water baptism, so we are baptized as He is.
The keywords of the true water baptism are “came up immediately from the water” [Matthew 3:16].
Romans 6:2-4
6:2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
6:3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
6:4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
The requirement of the true water baptism is repenting and dying to sins.
The execution of the true water baptism is one who has repented must be buried in water together with Jesus, to be raised with Him to receive new life, that is the Heavenly life (the heaven is opened). We become the children of God who have a good conscience and a sincere one as a dove. A sincere conscience means there are no evil, uncleanness, bitterness, and intention. A sincere conscience also means being honest, being able to firmly differ the right matters and the wrong ones.
Proverbs 15:8
15:8 The sacrifice of the wicked isan abomination to the Lord,
But the prayer of the upright isHis delight.
If we are honest and sincere, we will become a house of prayer. We can minister God with faithfulness, righteousness, and fervency in spirit. We like to worship Him, and He answers our prayer. We can feel the presence of God.
The grievance of God in His house is the house of prayer becomes the den of thieves. It happens because the dove is sold, meaning there is no more sincerity. There is the spirit of selling-buying or the spirit of antichrist in the house of God. The right becomes wrong, the wrong becomes right just because of physical advantages. There are also the spirit of irritation, envy, and grudge in the house of God.
If the house of God becomes the den of thieves, it means that the door of Heaven is closed. Thus, there are only curse and perdition.
- When the tithe is brought into the house of God.
Malachi 3:10
3:10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,
That there may be food in My house,
And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven
And pour out for you suchblessing
That there willnot be roomenough to receive it.
The tithe is the key of the kingdom of Heaven.
If there is tithe brought into the house of God, He will open the door of Heaven to send the spiritual food to the house of God. It means there is revelation of the Word to a pastor (the angel of the congregation) to be preached to the congregation faithfully and repetitively so it becomes the spiritual food for them. It is called as the shepherding Word.
Our attitude is eating the shepherding Word, that is hearing until obeying the shepherding Word. The results are as follows.
- Experiencing the Heavenly satisfaction, so we do not look for the fake one in the world.
- Experiencing spiritual growth to spiritual maturity and perfection. It equals to experiencing sanctification.
1 Peter 1:22
1:22 Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,
We experience sanctification of our heart, mind, and feeling, so we can love the others sincerely, love them as loving ourselves, even love our enemy.
Ephesians 4:11-12
4:11 And He Himself gave some to beapostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
One who is sanctified will be equipped with the ministry and gifts of Holy Spirit. It equals to being appointed as the priest and king.
Thus, the priest and king is equipped with the ministry, gifts of Holy Spirit, and love, to be used in the ministry of building the perfect body of Christ that leads to Jesus as the Head.
Malachi 3:10-12
3:10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,
That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,”
Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven
And pour out for you suchblessing
That there willnot be roomenough to receive it.
3:11 “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes,
So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground,
Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says the Lord of hosts;
3:12 “And all nations will call you blessed,
For you will be a delightful land,”
Says the Lord of hosts.
Jesus as the Head is responsible for our life until He dies on the cross at the Place of a Skull, to open the door of Heaven for us. As the result, we live in the cycle of the kingdom of Heaven as follows: the tithe --> spiritual food (the shepherding Word) --> being obedient, practicing the Word --> Jesus opens the windows of heaven --> blessing, protection, happiness --> the tithe.
The tithe is a confession that we have been blessed by God and live from Him.
Judas Iscariot steals the belonging of God so his life is rotten, cursed, and destroyed.
- When Jesus comes a second time on the glorious clouds. It is signed with a great sound of a trumpet.
Matthew 24:30-32
24:30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
24:31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
24:32 “Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tenderand puts forth leaves, you know that summer isnear.
Jesus’ second coming can be equated with the fig tree that becomes tender.
The key of the kingdom of Heaven is being tender, meaning experiencing life renewal from the flesh man to the spiritual one as Jesus. A hard heart is renewed to a tender one. The way is we must hear and obey the great sound of a trumpet. It is the true teaching Word that is hard and sharper than any two-edged sword.
The practices of being tender are as follows.
- Confessing our sin honestly to God and the others. If we are forgiven, we must not repeat it again.
- Being obedient to the true teaching Word.
Matthew 7:21
7:21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
Being disobedient means closing the door of Heaven and living in curse and perdition.
A tender heart equals to a plain that becomes the place of the journey of Jesus.
Luke 6:17-19
6:17 And He came down with them and stood on a level place with a crowd of His disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem, and from the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear Him and be healed of their diseases,
6:18 as well as those who were tormented with unclean spirits. And they were healed.
6:19 And the whole multitude sought to touch Him, for power went out from Him and healed themall.
Jesus comes down from the mountain to a level place. The mountain is the Golgotha. The level place refers to the heart that becomes tender. Tender heart means always appreciating the sacrifice of Christ. Hard heart means opposing His sacrifice.
Tender heart will store the mercy and kindness of God, so it encourages us to always worship, believe, and fully surrender our life to Him. We always struggle to touch Him. Thus, He will touch our life and miracle happens. When we cannot touch our impossible problems, let us not be desperate but try to touch Jesus. Physical and spiritual miracle will happen. Tender heart will be renewed continuously until we become perfect as Him. We are worthy to welcome His second coming and the door of Heaven is opened for us.
God blesses us.
