Matthew 25:1,1325:1 "Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.
25:13 "Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming. Jesus' second coming is in glory as King of kings, Heavenly Bridegroom, who has no relationship with sin. Therefore, only the perfect and blameless ones may welcome His second coming.
Besides, none knows the time of Jesus' second coming. Thus, the Church of God (the virgins) must watch always to be ready in welcoming Jesus' second coming.
Matthew 25:8-1325:8 "And the foolish said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.'
25:9 "But the wise answered, saying, 'No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.'
25:10 "And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.
25:11 "Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, 'Lord, Lord, open to us!'
25:12 "But he answered and said, 'Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.'
25:13 "Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming."
The practice of being foolish virgin is not watching.2 Peter 3:93:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. Not watching means
not using the lengthening of God's patience to repent. The Lord is longsuffering means He has not come a second time yet and we still have long age.
The main purpose of His patience is that we can repent.
Foolish virgin does not watch, meaning she does not repent but keeps her sins.
Where there is sin, there must not be Holy Spirit there.
On the contrary, wise virgin watches or finishes her sins.Finishing sins, all other problems will be finished also by God.
Furthermore, the anointing oil will also be poured abundantly so our lamp keeps on burning continually to welcome Jesus' second coming.
There will be a separation between the foolish virgins who do not watching and the wise ones who watch, between ones who do not repent and those who want to repent.
For example is Judas Iscariot and Jude the brother of James.Jude 1:11:1 Jude, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, To those who are called, sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ:
Judas Iscariot is the image of foolish virgin who keeps the sin of stealing, betrayal and lying as follows:
- Thief.
John 12:3-6
12:3 Then Mary took a pound of very costly oil of spikenard, anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil.
12:4 Then one of His disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, who would betray Him, said,
12:5 "Why was this fragrant oil not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?"
12:6 This he said, not that he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and had the money box; and he used to take what was put in it.
Stealing the possession of God happens through not returning tithes and special offering.
Stealing the possession of other people happens through not paying the debt, et cetera.
The sin of stealing means rejecting the anointing oil of Holy Spirit.
- Traitor, meaning not being faithful in committing service and ministry to the Lord.
Mark 3:19
3:19 and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed Him. And they went into a house.
The betrayal happens in service and ministry as well as in marriage.
- Liar.
Matthew 26:23,25
26:23 He answered and said, "He who dipped his hand with Me in the dish will betray Me.
26:25 Then Judas, who was betraying Him, answered and said, "Rabbi, is it I?" He said to him, "You have said it."
Lying means not saying righteously, not confessing sin but blaming other people.
Saying falsely, the life will be false or unrighteous also.
John 13:26-27
13:26 Jesus answered, "It is he to whom I shall give a piece of bread when I have dipped it." And having dipped the bread, He gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.
13:27 Now after the piece of bread, Satan entered him. Then Jesus said to him, "What you do, do quickly."
Judas was given a last chance to repent through Holy Communion but he lied. Consequently, Satan entered him and his lamp was truly quenched without the anointing oil at all.
Jude the brother of James is the image of wise virgin,he is called the bondservant of Jesus Christ [Jude 1:1], meaning below:
- The servant of righteousness.
Formerly, men sinned and were called the servant of sin, being invaluable or priceless.
Nothing in the world such as power, riches, intelligence, spiritual men, et cetera, may finish the sins. Only Jesus, the only one man who does not sin can redeem our sins and deliver us from them by His precious blood so we can live in righteousness and become the servant of righteousness.
Psalm 5:13
5:13 For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.
Being the servant of righteousness, one becomes the apple of God's eye none may touch.
- Taking the example of Jesus.
It is especially the example of obedience and faithfulness.
Philippians 2:8
2:8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
We have to obey the true teaching Word whatever we must sacrifice.
Jesus sacrifices His soul with His obedience and it does not go with the wind because He is risen in glory.
Likewise, all we sacrifice now because of obeying the Word will never be vain although our flesh is painful, as what Abraham has experienced when he sacrificed Isaac.
To be obedient, we indeed have to pay the expensive price!
Not being obedient, the price we must pay will be more expensive. Saul did not kill the cattle and he had to pay the more expensive price, that is to say the kingdom.
Losing the kingdom means he cannot enter Heavenly Kingdom.
Be serious with the obedience!
2 Timothy 2:13
2:13 If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.
Jesus keeps His faithfulness although we are faithless. Now we still have the lengthening of God's patience. If it is over, there will be a condition like Judas who was replaced by Mathias.
Being obedient and faithful means watching.
Luke 12:35-37,40
12:35 "Let your waist be girded and your lamps burning;
12:36 "and you yourselves be like men who wait for their master, when he will return from the wedding, that when he comes and knocks they may open to him immediately.
12:37 "Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them.
12:40 "Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect."
Watching is done in these three thins:- The waist is girded [Luke 12:35].
Ephesians 6:14
6:14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
John 17:17
17:17 "Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.
The truth is the Word of God sanctifying us.
Keeping in being girded with the truth means we have perseverance in committing Bible Study Service and Holy Communion. It is the Table of Showbread in Tabernacle (https://www.gptkk.org/tabernacle_table+of+showbread.html).
We are sanctified little by little through the teaching Word and Holy Communion, beginning from our heart which is the source of sins because it is full of wicked and unclean lusts.
The belt sanctifies and makes our lives neat. The more we are sanctified, the more our lives are made neat. Being neat means all things are managed and well done.
Judas was hung between heaven and earth at the end of his life which was not neat but messy and cursed.
- The lamp keeps on burning [Luke 12:35] = there is the oil for supply.
The practice is real through perseverance in committing General Service which is Golden Candlestick in Tabernacle (https://www.gptkk.org/tabernacle_golden+candlestick.html).
We get the gifts of Holy Spirit to minister the Lord through our perseverance in committing General Service. In such a manner, we receive the tunic of many colors from God.
Being unfaithful in our priest's offices and the gifts of Holy Spirit, we strip the tunic until being naked and ashamed.
Stripping the tunic of ministry and the gifts, one bursts open in the middle and all the entrails gushes out like Judas. His life becomes disgusting and tragic.
- Keeping the atmosphere of spiritual marriage supper [Luke 12:36].
It refers to the patience in committing Prayer Service. It is the Golden Altar of Incense in Tabernacle (https://www.gptkk.org/tabernacle_the+golden+altar+of+incense.html).
The worship prayer is the closest relationship between God and us so we can feel His love.
Zephaniah 3:16-18
3:16 In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem: "Do not fear; Zion, let not your hands be weak.
3:17 The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing."
3:18 "I will gather those who sorrow over the appointed assembly, Who are among you, To whom its reproach is a burden.
The love of God gives us power to defeat all problems and hindrances. Furthermore, it renews our lives to become new men, beginning from putting away lies.
Ephesians 4:24-25
4:24 and that you put on the new manwhich was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
4:25 Therefore, putting away lying,"Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor," for we are members of one another.
If we watch in these three things and are shepherded in the three main services to the Lord, He will make all things neat, beautiful, and joyful in time of need. We enter into the eternal joy forever when Jesus comes a second time.
God blesses you.
