Peace and grace in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Matthew 28:11-15
28:11 Now while they were going, behold, some of the guard came into the city and reported to the chief priests all the things that had happened.
28:12 When they had assembled with the elders and consulted together, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers,
28:13 saying, “Tell them, ‘His disciples came at night and stole Him awaywhile we slept.’
28:14 And if this comes to the governor’s ears, we will appease him and make you secure.”
28:15 So they took the money and did as they were instructed; and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.The impact of false teaching is passing through generations up to now.
While God is shining the light of glory, there is the spread of the darkness (the lie of the council).
The spread of the darkness is the spread of false news or teaching that rejects the death and resurrection of Jesus. It is encouraged by the power of money or mammon.
The consequences of the spread of the darkness are as follows.
- The servant or children of God do not experience renewal of life although they have ministered God.
2 Timothy 3:1-5
3:1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:
3:2 For men will be (1)lovers of themselves, (2)lovers of money, (3)boasters, (4)proud, (5)blasphemers, (6)disobedient to parents, (7)unthankful, (8)unholy,
3:3 (9)unloving, (10)unforgiving, (11)slanderers, (12)without self-control, (13)brutal, (14)despisers of good,
3:4 (15)traitors, (16)headstrong, (17)haughty, (18)lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
3:5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!
It happens since they reject the power of ministry, that is the death and resurrection power within the true teaching Word. The death power is to kill sins. The resurrection power is to raise us in new life.
This kind of life keeps being flesh and blood man with eighteen flesh characters, and is stamped with 666.
- Worshipping mammon or antichrist.
Matthew 6:24
6:24 “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.
Whom do we look for in ministry? Jesus or mammon?
If we look for Jesus, we will look for and hold on the true teaching Word and true ministry and worship, whatever the risk we must face.
The process of worshipping mammon is as follows.
- Having the love of money that cannot be controlled by the true teaching Word, so it becomes desire and loving money more than God.
1 Timothy 6:6-10
6:6 Now godliness with contentment is great gain.
6:7 For we brought nothing into thisworld, and it iscertain we can carry nothing out.
6:8 And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.
6:9 But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and intomany foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition.
6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds ofevil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
The practices are as follows.
- Looking for money or something in this world in illegal way.
- Ministering God with the aim to look for money or something else.
- Being unfaithful until leaving ministry because of looking for money or something else in this world.
- Positioning money in the major place in our life, that is in our heart, so God has no place in our heart. Moreover there is no place for the others and ourselves.
The practice is being stingy. It means one cannot give for the work of God and the others who need help, even for himself.
1 Corinthians 5:11
5:11 But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner—not even to eat with such a person.
A stingy life will not be able to enter the building of the body of Christ.
We have to sacrifice everything to be able to enter the building of the body of Christ, but the true teaching Word.
- Being greedy, which is the manifestation of idolatry.
Being greedy is seizing the right of the others, also the right of God (the tithe and special offering).
The consequence is living in the curse of the world, suffering, and tears.
Colossians 3:5-9
3:5 Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: (1)fornication, (2)uncleanness, (3)passion, (4)evil desire, and (5)covetousness, which is (6)idolatry.
3:6 Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience,
3:7 in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.
3:8 But now you yourselves are to put off all these: (1)anger, (2)wrath, (3)malice, (4)blasphemy, (5)filthy language out of your mouth.
3:9 Do not (6)lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds,There are two times of number six, meaning six outside sinful deeds and six inside sins.
If the servant of God is controlled by six outside and inside sins, he will be separated from God and cannot worship Him. He will worship mammon and lead to perdition.
Our attitude now is we must be firm to throw away and kill six outside and inside sins, so we experience renewal of life though water baptism.
Romans 6:2,4
6:2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
6:4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. The true water baptism is one who has died from sins (six outside and inside sins), is buried with Jesus in water, to be raised with Him in new life and experience renewal of life.
Colossians 3:5,8,10-14
3:5 Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.
3:8 But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth.
3:10 and have put on the new manwho is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him,
3:11 where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave norfree, but Christ isall and in all.
3:12 Therefore, as theelect of God, holy and beloved, put on (1)tender mercies, (2)kindness, (3)humility, (4)meekness, (5)longsuffering;
3:13 bearing with one another, and (6)forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.
3:14 But above all these things put on (7)love, which is the bond of perfection. We are renewed so we have seven characters of Jesus that peak on love, which is the bond of perfection. Thus, there will be relation between the body and the Head, meaning we can worship God with the true worship.
Matthew 6:6
6:6 But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who isin the secret place;and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. The true worship means the worship of the bride. It is a private relation and cannot be understood by other people. It is a heart to heart relation with God.
But the servant or children of God who preserve sins cut their relation with the Bridegroom. It means being a widow who has tragic fate. Their life will be filled with sufferings and tears, unsolved problems, and marriage disintegration.
2 Kings 4:1-2
4:1 A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the Lord. And the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be his slaves.”
4:2 So Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” And she said, “Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil.”Judas preserves his sin and cannot worship God. Previously he was used by God, but because of preserving sins, he bursts open in the middle and is perished.
But this widow still remembers the Word of God, and there is still the anointing oil of Holy Spirit, so she can confess her condition and come to God.
The way out is closing the door and worshipping God.
2 Kings 4:4-7
4:4 And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones.”
4:5 So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vesselsto her; and she poured itout.
4:6 Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, “Bring me another vessel.” And he said to her, “There isnot another vessel.” So the oil ceased.
4:7 Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you andyour sons live on the rest.”The results are as follows.
- God pours the Holy Spirit to anoint and fulfill our life.
Holy Spirit is able to solve all our unsolved problems and make possible the impossible things.
- We must keep worshipping God until the Holy Spirit overflows and becomes the oil for supply. Our lamp will keep burning to face the darkness of sins and the world. We will also keep being faithful and fervent in Spirit up to the end of our life.
Song of Solomon 5:16
5:16 His mouth ismost sweet,
Yes, he isaltogether lovely.
This ismy beloved,
And this ismy friend,
O daughters of Jerusalem!Let us make Jesus as the most interesting one in our life. We close the door frequently and worship God. Thus, He will solve everything.
God blesses us.
