Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 1:71:7 Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.This is the announcement about Jesus’ second coming as King of kings and Heavenly bridegroom on the glorious clouds.
When we read about the glorious clouds, there is another negative cloud that brings to perdition.
Jude 1:11-121:11 Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah.1:12 These are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried aboutby the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots;Clouds without water are empty clouds that will be carried about by the winds and destroyed forever. They are men, including servants of God, who live in sins as follows.
- Cain, who is grudging, being jealous, and having hatred without any reasons.
- Balaam, who serves God with the aim to get physical matters.
- Korah, who rebels the pastor and God.
One will live in sins up to the peak of sin, that is sin concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage.
Nowadays, the servant of God or children of God prepare to welcome His second coming as King of kings and Heavenly bridegroom on the glorious clouds. We must do well all preparation for physical matters in this world, but the most important is the preparation to welcome Jesus’ second coming. If we are left, all things that we have in this world will be in vain and destroyed forever.
There are three types of cloud as follows.
- Cloud of righteousness.
Psalm 57:11
57:11 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
LetYour glory beabove all the earth.
Righteousness equals to salvation. Man who does sins up to the peak of sin (as an empty cloud) can be saved and becomes the cloud of righteousness through hearing the gospel of salvation.
Ephesians 1:13
1:13 In Him you also trusted,after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,
The gospel of salvation is the Word that preaches Jesus’ first coming to die on the cross and save sinful men.
The process to become the cloud of righteousness is as follows.
- Believing (the Gate), that is having faith to Jesus as the only Savior.
- Repenting (Altar of Burnt Offering), meaning our heart believes and our lip confesses our sins to God and the others. If we are forgiven, we must not do sins anymore. We must die to sins.
- Water baptism (Brazen Laver).
The true water baptism is the burial of the one who has died to sins.
Romans 6:2-4
6:2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
6:3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
6:4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
We are buried in water with Jesus, to be raised with Him in new life. We are set free from sins. As Joseph who does not want to do sin with Potiphar’s wife although there is chance, benefit, threat.
Isaiah 44:22
44:22 I have blotted out, like a thick cloud, your transgressions,
And like a cloud, your sins. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.”
If we are set free from sins, they are as the vanishing cloud.
- Holy Spirit baptism (the door of Tabernacle).
It results in new life, that is living in righteousness. All aspects or our life must be right. We serve God in righteousness and faithfulness. Thus, our life will become the cloud of righteousness.
Psalm 57:11
57:11 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
LetYour glory beabove all the earth.
If we have become the cloud of righteousness, we also live from the faithfulness of God that is always new and unlimited by anything else.
Isaiah 44:22
44:22 I have blotted out, like a thick cloud, your transgressions,
And like a cloud, your sins.
Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.”
Let us throw away the sins and return to the ministry.
- The cloud saturated with water, meaning the cloud of holiness.
Job 37:11
37:11 Also with moisture He saturates the thick clouds;
He scatters His bright clouds.
Psalm 77:17
77:17 The clouds poured out water;
The skies sent out a sound; Your arrows also flashed about.
Deuteronomy 32:1-2
32:1 “Give ear, O heavens, and I will speak;
And hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.
32:2 Let my teaching drop as the rain,
My speech distill as the dew, As raindrops on the tender herb, And as showers on the grass.
It means being saturated with the water of the true teaching Word. Thus, our life must be filled with the true teaching Word so we will not become as an empty cloud blown by the wind and destroyed forever.
Where can the cloud be filled with the true teaching Word? In the Holy Place. It refers to the shepherding pen. Inside it, there are three types of equipment that refer to perseverance in three main services as follows.
- Golden Candlestick refers to perseverance in General Service.
- Table of Showbread refers to perseverance in Bible Study Service and Holy Communion.
- Golden Altar of Incense refers to perseverance in Prayer Service.
Within the shepherding, our body, spirit, and soul are filled with the rain of the true teaching Word that is repeated, until we are firm. We become the cloud that cannot be blown by the winds of temptation, false teaching, and sins up to the peak of sins.
The results are as follows.
- We have extra power so we can survive in facing the winds of temptation, false teaching, and sins up to the peak of sins. Until we survive to face the death.
2 Corinthians 4:7-9
4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.
4:8 We arehard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we areperplexed, but not in despair;
4:9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed—
We are not desperate or disappointed. We keep putting our hope in God and holding fast the true teaching Word. We keep living in righteousness.
- We are sanctified until we are perfect.
Ephesians 5:26-27
5:26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,
5:27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.
The rain of the true teaching Word sanctifies us until we are without blemish.
Proverbs 6:16-19
6:16 These six thingsthe Lord hates,
Yes, seven arean abomination to Him:
6:17 (1)A proud look,
(2)A lying tongue, (3)Hands that shed innocent blood,
6:18 (4)A heart that devises wicked plans,
(5)Feet that are swift in running to evil,
6:19 (6)A false witness whospeaks lies,
And (7)one who sows discord among brethren.
We must be sanctified from these seven matters. The cause of discord is self-truth, that is sinful man does not want to confess his sin but blaming the others. If we return to the Bible, there will be no discord.
- The cloud of glory.
Matthew 24:30-31
24:30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
24:31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
1 Kings 8:10-11
8:10 And it came to pass, when the priests came out of the holy place,that the cloud filled the house of the Lord,
8:11 so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord.
1 Peter 4:12-14
4:12 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you;
4:13 but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.
4:14 If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you,for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified.
The cloud of glory is obtained from the sprinkling of blood or flesh suffering together with Jesus. One of the forms is suffering to be able to serve God, fasting prayer, night prayer, et cetera.
The usefulness of the cloud of glory is renewing us from flesh man to become spiritual man as Jesus.
The term “could not stand” [1 Kings 8:11, Indonesian translation] means as follows.
- Flesh does not sound anymore, meaning there is no more desire. We become obedient and faithful as Abraham who is obedient to the command of God to sacrifice his son.
- We minister orderly to praise and worship God. It is our soul and spirit that leap.
- We become as baby who only cries to God. Thus, physical miracle will also happen. There is nothing impossible for God.
1 Kings 8:22-24,29,34-35,46,50
8:22 Then Solomon stood before the altar of the Lord in the presence of all the assembly of Israel, and spread out his hands toward heaven;
8:23 and he said: “Lord God of Israel, there isno God in heaven above or on earth below like You, who keep Yourcovenant and mercy with Your servants who walk before You with all their hearts.
8:24 You have kept what You promised Your servant David my father; You have both spoken with Your mouth and fulfilled itwith Your hand, as it isthis day.
8:29 that Your eyes may be open toward this temple night and day, toward the place of which You said, ‘My name shall be there,’ that You may hear the prayer which Your servant makes toward this place.
8:34 then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of Your people Israel, and bring them back to the land which You gave to their fathers.
8:35 “When the heavens are shut up and there is no rain because they have sinned against You, when they pray toward this place and confess Your name, and turn from their sin because You afflict them,
8:46 “When they sin against You (for there isno one who does not sin), and You become angry with them and deliver them to the enemy, and they take them captive to the land of the enemy, far or near;
8:50 and forgive Your people who have sinned against You, and all their transgressions which they have transgressed against You; and grant them compassion before those who took them captive, that they may have compassion on them
God’s mouth promises and His hands work to fulfill it. God’s eyes are opened to care our life. He struggles with us. He forgives and recovers our life. The last miracle is we will be renewed as glorious as Him on His second coming.
God blesses us.
