There will be international mourning, sadness, grief, and perdition for those who reject Jesus and do not believe Him whose side is pierced. All of them will be left on Jesus’ second coming. They will mourn and be destroyed together with the world forever. Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 1:71:7 Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.It is an announcement about Jesus’ second coming in glory as King of kings and Heavenly bridegroom on the glorious clouds.
All nations of the earth will mourn because of Him, even they who pierced Him.
There are two prophecies about the mourning of Jesus whose side is pierced as follows.
- Zechariah the prophet prophesies about the mourning of Jesus who is pierced. It has been fulfilled when Jesus dies on the cross.
Zechariah 12:10-12
12:10 “And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for hisonly son,and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.
12:11 In that day there shall be a great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning at Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo.
12:12 And the land shall mourn, every family by itself: the family of the house of David by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Nathan by itself, and their wives by themselves;
Luke 23:27-28
23:27 And a great multitude of the people followed Him, and women who also mourned and lamented Him.
23:28 But Jesus, turning to them, said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for Me, but weep for yourselves and for your children.
- John the apostle prophesies the mourning about Jesus who is pierced. It will be fulfilled on Jesus’ second coming in glory as King of kings and Heavenly bridegroom.
Revelation 1:7
1:7 Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.
There are two great events on Jesus’ second coming as King of kings and Heavenly bridegroom on the glorious clouds as follows.
- John 20:24-25
20:24 Now Thomas, called the Twin, one of the twelve, was not with them when Jesus came.
20:25 The other disciples therefore said to him, “We have seen the Lord.”So he said to them, “Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.”
Be careful, because Thomas the apostle doubts and does not believe the sacrifice of Christ. It is because his faith comes by sight. It is unhealthy and fragile faith. The true faith comes by hearing the Word. Faith because of seeing will reject Jesus in suffering. But faith because of hearing will be firmed in suffering.
- There will be international great joy from the congregation of God who believes in Him whose side is pierced. They will be lifted up on the glorious clouds with the saying “Alleluia” to meet Jesus who comes for the second time.
Revelation 19:6-7,9
19:6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!
19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.”
19:9 Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed arethose who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’” And he said to me, “These are the true sayings of God.”
Afterwards, we will enter the marriage supper of the Lamb of God [Revelation 19], and then the Paradise or the kingdom of peace a thousand years [Revelation 20], and thereafter the New Jerusalem or the eternal Kingdom of Heaven [Revelation 21-22].
Why is the side of Jesus pierced?
John 19:31-37
19:31 Therefore, because it was the Preparation Day,that the bodies should not remain on the cross on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was a high day), the Jews asked Pilate that their legs might be broken, and thatthey might be taken away.
19:32 Then the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first and of the other who was crucified with Him.
19:33 But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs.
19:34 But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out.
19:35 And he who has seen has testified, and his testimony is true; and he knows that he is telling the truth, so that you may believe.
19:36 For these things were done that the Scripture should be fulfilled, “Not oneof His bones shall be broken.”
19:37 And again another Scripture says, “They shall look on Him whom they pierced.”Because He has died on the cross before the Sabbath, his legs are not broken, but His side is pierced with a spear so blood and water come out.
Zechariah 12:10-14
12:10 “And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for hisonly son,and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.
12:11 In that day there shall be a great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning at Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo.
12:12 And the land shall mourn, every family by itself: the family of the house of David by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Nathan by itself, and their wives by themselves;
12:13 the family of the house of Levi by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of Shimei by itself, and their wives by themselves;
12:14 all the families that remain, every family by itself, and their wives by themselves.The real function of a wife is mourning and crying for the family, for their destiny on Jesus’ second coming.
Before His second coming, let every of us use as well as possible the chance to see and mourn the side of Jesus that is pierced and produces blood and water. Thus, we will experience the power of the bone that cannot be broken.
The practices of seeing and mourning the pierced side are as follows.
- Blood refers to the Altar of Burnt Offerings.
Now it means believing Jesus who is crucified and pierced, and repenting. Repenting means stopping sinning to return to God, being dead to sin. Especially we must repent from eight sins that bring us directly to the hell.
Revelation 21:8
21:8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
- Water refers to the Brazen Laver.
Now it means water baptism. The true water baptism is as written in the Bible and as Jesus is baptized.
Romans 6:4
6:4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
It is continued with Holy Spirit baptism. Being newly born from water and spirit will result in new life, that is Heavenly life, meaning living in righteousness. After that, we must become the instrument of righteousness, that is being faithful and righteous servant of God.
Proverbs 12:26
12:26 The righteous should choose his friends carefully,
For the way of the wicked leads them astray.
Thereafter, we must struggle to be well shepherded, to be shepherded on the true teaching Word. The righteous will find its shepherding place. In Tabernacle, the shepherding pen refers to the Holy Place. There are three types of equipment within it that refers to perseverance in three main services.
- Golden Candlestick refers to perseverance in General Service.
- Table of Showbread refers to perseverance in Bible Study Service and Holy Communion.
- Golden Altar of Incense refers to perseverance in Prayer Service.
Shepherding is the place to firm our salvation, so we will not fall and rise in sins, and we will not be deceived by another teachings and gossips. Shepherding is also the place to firm our ministry up to the end line, until Jesus’ second coming.
Do not become as Judas who does not want to be shepherded. He comes to the chief priests and becomes unsteady. At the end, he pierces Jesus from back.
We must be shepherded until we can confess, “I shall not want”. We are cared until we are perfect.
The practice of unbroken bones is worshiping with a contrite heart. Thus, we will experience the resurrection power from God.
Psalm 34:18-22
34:18 The Lord isnear to those who have a broken heart,
And saves such as have a contrite spirit.
34:19 Many arethe afflictions of the righteous,
But the Lord delivers him out of them all.34:20 He guards all his bones;
Not one of them is broken.
34:21 Evil shall slay the wicked,
And those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.34:22 The Lord redeems the soul of His servants,
And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned. Worshiping with a contrite heart means as follows.
- Confessing that we are unworthy and false. If we are forgiven, we must not do the sin anymore.
- Confessing that we are powerless, have no strength, and can do nothing.
- Confessing that we live from the mercy of God.
- Crying out Jesus’ name.
The results are as follows.
- [Psalm 34:19] We are near to God.
We are set free from shocks and we become calm.
Psalm 62:1-2
To the Chief Musician. To Jeduthun. A Psalm of David.
62:1 Truly my soul silently waitsfor God;
From Him comesmy salvation.
62:2 He only ismy rock and my salvation;
He ismy defense;
I shall not be greatly moved.
We will not be moved. We do not doubt, and we do not pierce God. We keep following and ministering Him until His second coming.
- [Psalm 34:20] Setting us free from failures, problems, physical and spiritual suffering.
- [Psalm 34:23] Setting us free from judgment or death.
We are sanctified and renewed. It is started with saying no lies. Liar is the same as accuser. One who is unrighteous will become an accuser. Let us be renewed to be an honest one. We must be honest in confessing sins and not accuse. Until when Jesus comes for a second time, we will be renewed and become as glorious as Him. We will be lifted up on the glorious clouds and be with Him forever.
God blesses us.
