Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 12:3
12:3. And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads.Revelation 12: 3-18 is about the clear and complete appearance of Satan or dragon with his activities on the last days as follows:
- [Revelation 12:4a] His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven.
- [Revelation 12:4b] Devouring.
- [Revelation 12:7] Fighting.
- [Revelation 12:13] Persecuting or catching up fast.
- [Revelation 12:15] Causing the woman or the church of God to be carried away by the flood.
- [Revelation 12:17] Making war or persecuting.
The target of Satan is the flesh and blood man or one who keeps the flesh with its lusts.
ad. 3.
Fighting.
Revelation 12:7
12:7. And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought,
Satan and his angels make war in heaven.
There are three main angels in heaven as follows:
- The angel Lucifer. He becomes haughty. He wants to be like the Most High, so he falls and becomes Satan.
- The angel Gabriel.
Luke 1:26-28
1:26. Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth,
1:27. to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin's name was Mary.
1:28. And having come in, the angel said to her, "Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!"
The angel Gabriel is the messenger angel. It refers to the revelation of the Word.
- [Revelation 12:7] The angel Michael, namely the angel of helper and war. It refers to the power of Holy Spirit.
There are three stages in warfare as follows:
- The pre-war stage, namely the atmosphere of peace.
- The stage of war.
- The post-war stage.
Ad. 2.
The stage of war.
Revelation 12:7-9
12:7. And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought,
12:8. but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer.
12:9. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
War breaks out in heaven. Michael and his angels fight with the dragon and his angels.
The army of heaven wins, so Satan does not have a place in heaven any longer. He is cast to the earth and he reigns over the world for three and a half years in the form of Antichrist.
The great flesh and blood man with his intelligence, riches, position, power, and so on cannot fight against Satan, so we must fight with the power of the angel Michael, namely the power of Holy Spirit, and we will surely win.
Fighting against Satan is the same as fighting with the power of Holy Spirit, so we win.
How do we fight with the power of Holy Spirit?
- Learning from Jesus on the cross who is gentle and lowly in heart to face our labor and heavy burden in the world.
Matthew 11:28-30
11:28. "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
11:29. "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
11:30. "For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."
Jesus is lowly in heart until He confesses all of our sins on the cross. He does not sin but He confesses our sins.
Being lowly in heart is the ability to confess our sin to God and others even though we have to suffer in flesh. Do not sin anymore after being forgiven!
But, there are many arrogant people. They have sinned but they do not want to confess it, even they blame at others and God.
Being gentle is the ability to forgive others' sin.
If we are gentle and lowly in heart or we confess and forgive one another, the blood of Jesus will take away our sins. We experience the anointing of Holy Spirit. We will find rest or peace.
Being gentle is also the ability to receive the true teaching word even though we suffer in flesh and no matter how hard, sharp, and long it is to rebuke and purify us.
The facts found in it are hearing the word earnestly, understanding, and believing in it. We firmly hold fast the true teaching word and reject the false one. We do not doubt to the true teaching word.
If we doubt, we will surely not experience peace.
John 14:26-27
14:26. "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
14:27. "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
If we are gentle and lowly in heart, we will experience the anointing of Holy Spirit that gives us peace, so we are not troubled and all things become easy and light.
- Learning from Jesus on the cross who sleeps on boat, so we become silent and calm to face all wind and waves, and destruction in the world.
Isaiah 30:14-15
30:14. And He shall break it like the breaking of the potter's vessel, Which is broken in pieces; He shall not spare. So there shall not be found among its fragments A shard to take fire from the hearth, Or to take water from the cistern."
30:15. For thus says the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel: "In returning and rest you shall be saved; In quietness and confidence shall be your strength." But you would not,
Mark 4:39
4:39. Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace, be still!" And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.
Being silent means suffering in flesh to do introspection in our life until we repent, so all wind, waves, and destruction do not happen. We are saved.
Being silent means suffering in flesh not to defend ourselves when we are slandered, reproached, and tormented although we live in righteousness.
If we follow to gossip and slander, we will lose the righteousness, so the wind and waves happen.
1 Peter 4:7
4:7. But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.
Being calm means being serious as well as being shepherded. We do not hope others. We just totally trust and hope God, so we can pray.
Being silent and calm is the same as repenting and praying. We rely on the power of Holy Spirit.
Isaiah 30:15-17
30:15. For thus says the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel: "In returning and rest you shall be saved; In quietness and confidence shall be your strength." But you would not,
30:16. And you said, "No, for we will flee on horses" --Therefore you shall flee! And, "We will ride on swift horses" --Therefore those who pursue you shall be swift!
30:17. One thousand shall flee at the threat of one, At the threat of five you shall flee, Till you are left as a pole on top of a mountain And as a banner on a hill.
Be watchful! There are many servants of God who will not become silent and calm. They will not fight with the power of Holy Spirit, but the one of horse. It means that they use the power of the flesh or the shortcut that is not in line with the true teaching word. Consequently, Satan will be swift, so they will truly be destroyed. They will be left alone like the pillar of salt that will be trampled by Antichrist up to the perdition forever.
John 7:6
7:6. Then Jesus said to them, "My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready.
God's time has not yet come to help us, but our time is always ready to have patience and perseverance.
Being silent, calm, and patient, and persevering are the same as stretching out our hands to God, and He will stretch out the hands of Holy Spirit to us. Hoy Spirit fights for us. The wind and waves will become great calm. All problems are finished. The thing that has been destroyed can be good. The thing that has drowned will be lifted up. All decadences will be restored.
- Abba, Father. It means learning from Jesus in Gethsemane, namely being obedient to the point of death on the cross.
It is useful to face against the closed doors in the world and heaven.
Jesus becomes obedient to the point of death on the cross, so all doors up to the one of heaven are opened.
Matthew 27:50-51
27:50. And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit.
27:51. Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split,
The fact of learning from Jesus is that we must worship God a lot. We worship Him through private prayer, family prayer, the prayer service, the fasting prayer, and all night-long prayer. We experience the process to tear the flesh with all of its lusts, wills, and attitudes.
We experience the renewal of life, namely being obedient until the flesh does not speak anymore.
Romans 8:15
8:15. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."
As a result, God stretches out the hands of Holy Spirit to fight for us and open the closed doors.
Hebrews 10:19-21
10:19. Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus,
10:20. by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh,
10:21. and having a High Priest over the house of God,
The hand of Holy Spirit gives a new and living way to us.
It means that the hand of Holy Spirit is able to take care of our physical life miraculously up to abundance in the midst of the difficulties of the world and our weakness.
We always give thanks and become the blessing for others.
Holy Spirit also takes care of our spiritual life, so we keep living in righteousness and holiness.
All of impossible problems can be finished by Holy Spirit.
He gives beautiful and successful future in His time. We are appointed as the priest and king to be used in the building of the perfect body of Christ according to the ministry that Jesus gives to us.
Opening the door of heaven means experiencing the renewal of life from fleshly men to spiritual ones, namely being honest. We become the house of prayer.
It continues until Jesus comes a second time that we are changed to become as perfect as He is. We do not stumble in words. We just say: "Alleluia" to greet His coming on the glorious clouds. We enter into the throne of heavenly kingdom forever.
God blesses us.
