Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 3:14-22 is about the church of the Laodiceans. It represents the church in the last days or all of us.
Revelation 3:16-173:16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. 3:17 Because you say, 'I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing'--and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked--The condition of the church of the Laodiceans or the church in the last days is being lukewarm. Physically they are rich and lack of nothing. But spiritually they are empty because they do not want to be filled with the true teaching Word. These kind of life will be commanded by Satan the trinity and enter the revival of the wild horse. The consequence is being vomited by God. They are abominable and unclean. They are thrown away and destroyed forever.
Revelation 3:183:18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, thatthe shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.God rebukes, counsels, and chastens the church of the Laodiceans or all of us so we buy the richness of the Heaven and become rich spiritually. We will not be vomited but will be eaten by God. We satiate and please His heart, and He will also please us.
There are three types of the Heavenly richness as follows.
- Gold refined in the fire.
- White garments to cover the nakedness.
- Oil to grease the eyes.
ad. 3. Oil to grease the eyes.
It means we must have the anointing oil of Holy Spirit so we have opened spiritual eyes to see God, meaning we can love Him more than everything. Opened spiritual eyes also to see the field of God.
John 4:354:35 Do you not say, 'There are still four months and thencomes the harvest'? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!1 Corinthians 3:93:9 For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, you areGod's building. The field of God equals to the building of God. It means that we must be active in the ministry of building the perfect body of Christ, that is the revival of Holy Spirit in the last rain or the revival of white horse.
The revival of building the body of Christ is started from within marriage, shepherding, inter-shepherding, up to the perfect body of Christ.
There are two types of the building or fellowship of the body of Christ as follows.
- The true fellowship.
John 15:1,5
15:1 "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.
15:5 "I am the vine, you arethe branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
The sign is having the true vine, that is Jesus or the true teaching Word.
Our life that is powerless (as a branch) must attach to Jesus, meaning being shepherded to the true teaching Word. A branch that abides in the vine has the relationships of faithfulness, holiness, and love to God and the others. If there are these relationships, the branch will bear much fruit up to the eternal one, that is being the perfect bride of God.
- The wrong fellowship.
John 15:6
15:6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw theminto the fire, and they are burned.
The wrong fellowship is fellowship without the true vine or Jesus or the true teaching Word. The signs are saying dry words, gossip, slander, and blasphemy to righteous people and even God.
John 4:36
4:36 And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.
There are two activities in the field of God as follows.
- Sowing, that is the revival of Holy Spirit in the first rain. It is the revival in the Gospel Word or Gospel of Salvation that preaches Jesus' first coming to save sinful men. It aims to add the quantity (amount) of the body of Christ.
- Reaping, that is the revival of Holy Spirit in the last rain. It is the revival in the true teaching Word or the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ that preaches Jesus' second coming in glory on the glorious clouds to sanctify and perfect saved lives. It aims to add the quality of the body of Christ.
The result is ripe wheat that is ready to be put in the barn, meaning the perfect bride of God who is ready to welcome Jesus' second coming on the glorious clouds.
Before the wheat enters the barn, it must experience two times of winnowing as follows.
- Winnowing by Satan.
Luke 22:31
22:31 And the Lord said, "Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift youas wheat.
Winnowing by Satan is shakings and crises that increase in all fields up to the appearance of antichrist. It aims to shake and fail the faith of the servants of God so they deny God and the true ministry.
Lukas 22:32
22:32 But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me,strengthen your brethren."
The attitude in facing the winnowing is Jesus always prays so our faith is not shaken and failed. We do not deny Jesus and the true teaching Word. We must also pray more so our faith is firm and we can testify to the others.
- Winnowing by Lord Jesus.
Matthew 3:11-12
3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
3:12 His winnowing fan isin His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire."
It is to separate wheat from straw and wheat from chaff.
Malachi 3:18
3:18 Then you shall again discern
Between the righteous and the wicked, Between one who serves God
And one who does not serve Him.
Malachi 4:1
4:1 "For behold, the day is coming,
Burning like an oven, And all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble.
And the day which is coming shall burn them up," Says the Lord of hosts,
"That will leave them neither root nor branch.
Straw refers to the servants or children of God who are unfaithful in the ministry to God, even leaving it. The consequence is being useless, burnt, and destroyed forever.
Wheat refers to the servants or children of God who are faithful in the ministry to God although there are many sacrifices and being considered as fools. In the parable of ten virgins, five wise virgins are considered as fools because they bring oil for supply. But at the end, the faithful will be joyful to welcome Jesus' second coming on the glorious clouds.
Malachi 4:2
4:2 But to you who fear My name
The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings; And you shall go out
And grow fat like stall-fed calves.
If one is faithful in the ministry, he will be faithful in the marriage and in everything.
Chaff refers to the servants or children of God who are satisfied only by physical matters but being unwilling to be filled with spiritual matters, especially through three main services as follows.
- Golden Candlestick refers to perseverance in General Service. We have fellowship with Holy Spirit God in His gifts. The sheep drink.
- Table of Showbread refers to perseverance in Bible Study Service with Holy Communion. We have fellowship with the Son of God in the true teaching Word and the sacrifice of Christ. The sheep eat.
- Golden Altar of Incense refers to perseverance in Prayer Service. We have fellowship with Father God in His love. The sheep breathe.
Through perseverance in three main services, our body, spirit, and soul are filled by God the Trinity through the Word, Holy Spirit, and His love.
Wheat refers to the servants or children of God who are willing to sacrifice physical matters to be filled with spiritual matters through the Word, Holy Spirit, and His love.
Matthew 3:11
3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
Our attitudes in facing winnowing from God are as follows.
- True water baptism that is according to the Holy Bible. We must be baptized as Jesus is baptized.
Roma 6:2,4
6:2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
6:4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
The requirement of the true water baptism is repentance, stopping sinning to return to God. We die to sins.
The execution of true water baptism is one who has died to sins must be buried in water together with Jesus, to be raised with Him to get new life or Heavenly life.
Matthew 3:16-17
3:16 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.
3:17 And suddenly a voice camefrom heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."
New life is living in righteousness and obedience.
- Holy Spirit baptism, that is being overflown with Holy Spirit so we experience sanctification by the fire of Holy Spirit. It is a special sanctification for the servants of God, so we keep being faithful and fervent in spirit in ministering God, according to the ministry entrusted by God, until the end line. The sanctification is especially started from the tongue.
Exodus 3:2-5
3:2 And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush wasnot consumed.
3:3 Then Moses said, "I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn."
3:4 So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, "Moses, Moses!" And he said, "Here I am."
3:5 Then He said, "Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand isholy ground."
Moses experiences sanctification by fire until he takes his sandals off his feet. It refers to the sanctification of the physical and spiritual life, so we can appear as a baby that only cries and hopes to God, only worships Him.
Acts 2:1-4
2:1 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
2:3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and onesat upon each of them.
2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
The tongues of fire of Holy Spirit sanctify the tongue of the apostles in the first rain so they can worship God. Peter who denied God can testify and worship Him. Peter is used by God.
1 Peter 4:12-14
4:12 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you;
4:13 but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ's sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.
4:14 If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you,for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified.
In the last days, we must experience the fiery trial or suffering of the flesh because of Jesus. It is so that the Spirit of glory, shekinah glory, is poured over us. We experience sanctification so we can testify and worship God.
The results are as follows.
- God is able to care our life physically in the middle of difficulties. He is also able to care our life spiritually so we experience peace. Everything becomes easy and light.
- God is able to sanctify our life continually until we are perfect as Him.
God blesses us.
