Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
In the structure of Tabernacle, Revelation chapter 7 refers to the golden pot that had manna.
Hebrews 9:4
9:4 which had the golden censer and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which were the golden pot that had the manna, Aaron's rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant;
The golden pot is put in the ark of covenant in the Most Holy Place. It refers to the perfect or the permanent faith.
One who has the perfect faith is a perfect man.
Revelation chapter 7 is divided into two big parts as follows:
- [Revelation 7:1-8] One hundred and forty-four thousand who refer to the core of the Bride of God or the house of Israel.
Revelation 7:4
7:4 And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed.
- [Revelation 7:9-17] The Gentiles who complete the Bride of heaven.
Revelation 7:9
7:9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands.
The house of Israel and the Gentiles become one perfect body of Christ and the perfect Bride of heaven who is ready to welcome His second coming on the glorious clouds.
All men in the world are the clay pot which are fragile. It means easily being proud disappointed as well as doing the sins up to the peak and perishing forever.
If the clay pot is filled only by the physical things such as intelligence, riches, and position, it will become the alabaster pot which is more precious to man, but it makes him more hard-hearted, fragile, and broken until perishing forever.
Therefore, the clay pot must be filled with manna so that it turns to the golden one that had manna which cannot be destroyed by anyone. It means that we become the bride of heaven.
Psalms 78:23-2578:23 Yet He had commanded the clouds above, And opened the doors of heaven,
78:24 Had rained down manna on them to eat, And given them of the bread of heaven.
78:25 Men ate angels' food; He sent them food to the full.
The bread refers to the word of God.
The angel refers to the shepherd.
So, manna or bread of heaven refers to the shepherding word from heaven. It cannot be looked for anywhere except at Jesus' feet.
The shepherding word or the true teaching word is entrusted by God to a shepherd to be preached to the sheep or the congregation faithfully, regularly, continuously, and repetitively, so it becomes the food which grows the spirituality of the congregation to be as perfect as Jesus is.
There are three functions of manna as follows:
- Manna for preserving the daily life.
Exodus 16:16,22
16:16 "This is the thing which the LORD has commanded: 'Let every man gather it according to each one's need, one omer for each person, according to the number of persons; let every man take for those who are in his tent.'
16:22 And so it was, on the sixth day, that they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for each one. And all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses.
The rule is that the house of Israel must gather manna one omer a day in five days.
The number five refers to the five senses.
So, our need in daily life is the sanctification to our five senses by the shepherding word. It begins from the ears.
The ears are only to hear and obey the true teaching word, so our whole life is sanctified. We will be preserved physically by God abundantly, so we always give thanks to Him. We are also preserved by God spiritually until our face is cheerful or not gloomy and pale. We are preserved until the eternal life forever.
Exodus 16:19-20
16:19 And Moses said, "Let no one leave any of it till morning."
16:20 Notwithstanding they did not heed Moses. But some of them left part of it until morning, and it bred worms and stank. And Moses was angry with them.
Let us be watchful because there was manna which bred worms and stank. It refers to the unrighteous man who forces himself to dwell in the true shepherding pen. It happens because he keeps his sins and hears other voices. Consequently, his sins are cumulative until he breeds worms and stinks. As the example is Judas Iscariot.
- Manna for Sabbath.
Exodus 16:22-23
16:22 And so it was, on the sixth day, that they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for each one. And all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses.
16:23 Then he said to them, "This is what the LORD has said: 'Tomorrow is a Sabbath rest, a holy Sabbath to the LORD. Bake what you will bake today, and boil what you will boil; and lay up for yourselves all that remains, to be kept until morning.' "
The rule is that the house of Israel gathered manna two omers of manna for each one for two days.
One omer is for the preservation of the daily life that refers to the sanctification.
One omer is for Sabbath or the resting day.
On the last day or the sixth day, we must double our effort to gather manna or the shepherding word through the perseverance in the shepherding pen as follows:
- The Golden Candlestick refers to the perseverance in doing General Service.
- The Table of Showbread refers to the perseverance in doing Bible Study Service and Holy Communion.
- The Altar of Incense refers to the perseverance in doing Prayer Service.
Also, through inter-shepherding fellowship service.
Acts 2:42,46
2:42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers
2:46 So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart.
Our perseverance must be increased, so we can dwell in the temple of God everyday. It means that there is the revival of Holy Spirit on the later rain to unite the bride of heaven.
Why must we gather the manna doubly?
- To face the future famine until the age of Antichrist who rules over the world for three and a half years.
If the word of God is double, we will experience the double preservation to our physical and spiritual life.
- So that we experience the peace in the midst of shaking on the land, in the sea, and in the air.
We can be peaceful like Jesus who slept in the boat which was being hit by the waves. All things become easy and light.
- To double the sanctification for us to be perfect like Jesus is.
- Manna to be saved in the golden pot.
Exodus 16:32
16:32 Then Moses said, "This is the thing which the LORD has commanded: 'Fill an omer with it, to be kept for your generations, that they may see the bread with which I fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you out of the land of Egypt.
It means as follows:
- As a testimony that we live by the word of God, not from the world.
Exodus 16:36
16:36 Now an omer is one-tenth of an ephah.
The proof of living from God is returning the tithe which belongs to Him.
The tithe is our confession that we live from God or the shepherding word, not the world.
The tithe is our confession that our job, life, and ministry are His. Satan cannot disturb or touch the possessions that belong to God.
- The shepherding word has become the flesh and blood in us, so we experience its power as follows:
- The color of manna is white. It refers to the power of sanctification.
Exodus 16:31
16:31 And the house of Israel called its name Manna. And it was like white coriander seed, and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey.
We experience the sanctification to our sins up to the peak until we have the glistening garment.
- The shape is like coriander seed that is round, there is no end or base. It refers to the eternity power.
If a man only eats grass or rice, his life is like the grass which is easily withered and burnt, but if we eat manna, we will reach the eternal life forever.
- The taste was like wafers made with honey which is sweet. It refers to the power of renewal.
Revelation 10:10
10:10 Then I took the little book out of the angel's hand and ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth. But when I had eaten it, my stomach became bitter.
The bitter taste refers to the power of death and the sweet one refers to the power of resurrection.
We die to the old life and rise in the new one. Our life will be sweet with Jesus.
As the example is Joseph who refers to the church of the bride who is born on the last day.
Genesis 39:6
39:6 Thus he left all that he had in Joseph's hand, and he did not know what he had except for the bread which he ate. Now Joseph was handsome in form and appearance.
Joseph was handsome in form. It means that there is the renewal to the characteristic.
1 Peter 3:4-5
3:4 rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.
3:5 For in this manner, in former times, the holy women who trusted in God also adorned themselves, being submissive to their own husbands.
Being gentle refers to the ability to receive the solid food that cuts the great lust of the flesh and to forgive the others people.
Being silent means that we introspect ourselves and do not speak negative words. We introspect ourselves more by the sharpness of the sword of the word.
Being submissive means that we are obedient until the flesh does not speak anymore.
Joseph was handsome in appearance. It refers to the renewal to the behavior or the outward man.
Romans 12:17,19
12:17 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men.
12:19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord.
We only do the righteous and good things. We do not harm others or repaying evil with evil, but with God. We like to reconcile and finish the sins and do not judge others, but confess and forgive each other.
So, we will have the peaceful heart or the good conscience.
If one is handsome in form and appearance, he will face these two things as follows:
- The wife of Potiphar or the woman of Babylon that refers to the great power on the last day. If one cannot be seduced, he will be forced by the woman of Babylon until he faces the jail, namely the limitation or the impossibility.
Joseph became like the sheep for slaughter that only surrenders and cries to God.
- God Himself as the Bridegroom of heaven.
1 Peter 3:10-12
3:10 For "He who would love life And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips from speaking deceit.
3:11 Let him turn away from evil and do good; Let him seek peace and pursue it.
3:12 For the eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the LORD is against those who do evil."
God will stretch out His hand to help the people who are handsome in form and appearance. There is successful and beautiful future life. It means we are used in the edifying of the perfect body of Christ on the last rain. We are changed to be as perfect as Jesus and worthy to welcome His second coming on the glorious clouds.
God blesses you.
