Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 9:1-12
9:1 Then the fifth angel sounded: And I saw a star fallen from heaven to the earth. To him was given the key to the bottomless pit.
9:2 And he opened the bottomless pit, and smoke arose out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. So the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit.
9:3 Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth. And to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
9:4 They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.
9:5 And they were not given authority to kill them, but to torment them for five months. Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man.
9:6 In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die, and death will flee from them.
9:7 The shape of the locusts was like horses prepared for battle. On their heads were crowns of something like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men.
9:8 They had hair like women's hair, and their teeth were like lions' teeth.
9:9 And they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots with many horses running into battle.
9:10 They had tails like scorpions, and there were stings in their tails. Their power was to hurt men five months.
9:11 And they had as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon.
9:12 One woe is past. Behold, still two more woes are coming after these things. The fifth trumpet that is sounded or the fifth condemnation of the Son of God to the world is signified by a great star that falls to the earth.
Isaiah 14:12-1414:12 "How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations!
14:13 For you have said in your heart: 'I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregationOn the farthest sides of the north;
14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.'
14:15 Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit.Isaiah 14:12
14:12 "How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations. Why could Lucifer fall and become Satan?
- Because he was arrogant. He said "I will" five times; even "I will be like God."
It is the opposite to Jesus who is obedient until He died with five main wounds on the cross.
Philippians 2:8
2:8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
So, the arrogance of Lucifer is through saying I will five times. It means that he rejected the cross.
- Because he did not obey the word of God.
Actually, the arrogance and disobedience are the characteristics of Lucifer, but we must be watchful because they have already attacked the servant and the minister of God as well as the church at the early rain and the one at the later rain.
- Peter, the great servant of God, represents the church of God at the early rain.
John 13:36-38
13:36 Simon Peter said to Him, "Lord, where are You going?" Jesus answered him, "Where I am going you cannot follow Me now, but you shall follow Me afterward."
13:37 Peter said to Him, "Lord, why can I not follow You now? I will lay down my life for Your sake."
13:38 Jesus answered him, "Will you lay down your life for My sake? Most assuredly, I say to you, the rooster shall not crow till you have denied Me three times.
Peter was arrogant. He wanted to lay down his life before Jesus did it on the cross. It means that he wanted to precede the sacrifice of Christ or set aside and underestimate the cross.
In consequence, he denied Jesus three times. It means that his body, soul, and spirit denied the Trinity of God, so he was stamped by 666 or did not experience the life renewal. He only became the sinful fleshly man. It means that he could not follow Jesus to the heaven but should perish forever.
The facts found in the servant and the minister of God who deny Jesus are as follows:
- Denying God with words or lie.
- Denying God with the vile deeds.
Titus 1:16
1:16 They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.
Genesis 46:34
46:34 "that you shall say, 'Your servants' occupation has been with livestock from our youth even till now, both we and also our fathers,' that you may dwell in the land of Goshen; for every shepherd is an abomination to the Egyptians."
The vile deeds mean that one does not want to be shepherded.
Genesis 47:6
47:6 "The land of Egypt is before you. Have your father and brothers dwell in the best of the land; let them dwell in the land of Goshen. And if you know any competent men among them, then make them chief herdsmen over my livestock."
The shepherding pen is the best place in the world.
Matthew 2:6
2:6 'But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, Are not the least among the rulers of Judah; For out of you shall come a Ruler Who will shepherd My people Israel.'"
Being vile refers to the hatred.
- Rebellious deed. It means unfaithfulness until leaving the ministry. One does not serve and minister to God until he cannot do it sometimes.
Our duty in the heaven is serving and ministering to God. So, ones who do not serve and minister to God cannot enter the heaven because they do not know the way to the heaven.
- Not being to do a good thing, but harming and becoming a burden for others. It means not being the blessing for other people; even one repays evil for good and becomes the same as Satan.
Matthew 10:33
10:33 "But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.
If one denies God, God will also deny him. It means that there is no place for him in heaven or he perishes forever.
- The church of the Laodiceans represents the church at the later rain.
Revelation 3:14-17
3:14 "And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, 'These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God:
3:15 "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.
3:16 "So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.
3:17 "Because you say, 'I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing' --and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked.
The arrogance of the church of the Laodiceans or the Gentiles on the last days is serving and ministering to God only to look for, prioritize, and show the physical things. So, they ignore the spiritual things and become the enemies of the cross of Christ.
Philippians 3:18-19
3:18 For many walk, of whom I have told you often, andnow tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
3:19 whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame--who set their mind on earthly things.
In consequence, they forget God and other people.
Ezekiel 16:49
16:49 "Look, this was the iniquity of your sister Sodom: She and her daughter had pride, fullness of food, and abundance of idleness; neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.
After being blessed, they do not remember, give, and visit other people who are in need.
They are in five poor spiritual condition as follows:
- Being wretched or languishing. It means that their soul is always in difficulties.
- Being miserable or always being unlucky.
- Being poor and empty or without God, the Word, and the love of God.
Consequently, they are filled by Satan with the wicked and unclean spirits or the locusts and scorpions which torment them for five months.
Revelation 9:2-5
- Being blind or living in the darkness of sins up to the peak.
- Being naked or ashamed until they cannot be perfect like Jesus.
So, such life will be vomited out. It means being useless or living in uncleanness until perishing forever.
Matthew 16:24
16:24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.
The right attitude is following God until wherever He is, there we are. It means taking up the cross and suffering in flesh because of Jesus, righteousness, the service and ministry, fasting and doing all night-long prayer, sacrificing, being slandered, et cetera.
2 Corinthians 4:16-17
4:16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.
4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternalweight of glory.
The affliction because of Jesus is light and for a while, comparing to the eternal glory forever.
Why must we take up the cross? We must take up the cross to experience the renewal from the fleshly man to the spiritual one. It starts from the heart. The heart becomes strong, courageous, and steadfast.
We can be humble and obedient like Jesus as well as confess our sins to God and other people.
The new heart becomes the place of Holy Spirit.
The functions of Holy Spirit are as follows:
- Sanctifying and changing the Gentiles who are like the dog and swine, and burning the dog and swine until they produce sweet smelling offerings.
Romans 15:16
15:16 that I might be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
We are used to bring the fragrance of Christ through the Gospel and the true teaching word. We are used in the revival of Holy Spirit at the later rain like a donkey which is ridden by Jesus to Jerusalem.
Genesis 8:21-22
8:21 And the LORD smelled a soothing aroma. Then the LORD said in His heart, "I will never again curse the ground for man's sake, although the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; nor will I again destroy every living thing as I have done.
8:22 "While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease."
So, the steps of the donkey are the ones of blessing and miracle.
- The fire of Holy Spirit gives extra power to us who are weak. So, we are always faithful and fervent in spirit to serve and minister to God until the end line, namely until we pass away or when Jesus comes for the second time.
Romans 12:11
12:11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;.
- The fire of Holy Spirit like the horses and chariots of fire protects and preserves us in the midst of difficulties in the world until the age when Antichrist rules over the world for three and a half years.
2 Kings 6:14-17
6:14 Therefore he sent horses and chariots and a great army there, and they came by night and surrounded the city.
6:15 And when the servant of the man of God arose early and went out, there was an army, surrounding the city with horses and chariots. And his servant said to him, "Alas, my master! What shall we do?"
6:16 So he answered, "Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them."
6:17 And Elisha prayed, and said, "LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see." Then the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
We experience the victory over the impossible problems. Holy Spirit gives us peace, so all things are easy and light. We do not feel anything that the flesh feels anymore.
- The fire of Holy Spirit is able to exalt us to the glorious clouds. It means sanctifying and changing us as well as making all things successful, until we are perfect with Him forever.
2 Kings 2:11
2:11 Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.
God blesses you.
