Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 1:81:8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega, theBeginning and theEnd,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”This morning, we are learning about “I am the Almighty”.
It is related with three kinds of power as follows.
- The Almighty gives correction and chastening.
Job 5:17-18
5:17 “Behold, happy isthe man whom God corrects;
Therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty.
5:18 For He bruises, but He binds up;
He wounds, but His hands make whole.
Correction and chastening equal to the true teaching Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword. It refers to sanctification power.
If we experience sanctification by the true teaching Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword, it will hurt the flesh as we are bruised or wounded, but God will recover us spiritually, that is removing the sins and making us happy. God will also recover us physically.
2 Timothy 4:2
4:2 Preach the word! Be ready in season andout of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.
The content of the teaching Word or the sanctification process by the true teaching Word is as follows.
- Convincing the wrong thing, meaning convincing the sin up to the hidden one, so we can realize, regret, and confess it to God and the others. We are forgiven by His blood.
- Rebuking, so we repent. It means we stop sinning to return to God. We die to sins, so we can live in righteousness and holiness.
- Exhorting.
Psalm 73:24
73:24 You will guide me with Your counsel,
And afterward receive me toglory.
Advice is the guide of God’s loving hands to bring us entering the shepherding pen. In Tabernacle, it refers to the Holy Place, in which there are three kinds of equipment.
- Golden Candlestick refers to perseverance in General Service.
- Table of Showbread refers to perseverance in Bible Study Service with Holy Communion.
- Golden Altar of Incense refers to perseverance in Prayer Service.
The shepherding pen is the safest, most beautiful, and most promising place in this world.
The result is “I shall not want”, meaning as follows.
- We are firm in righteousness and holiness, and we continually experience sanctification up to perfection.
- We are cared abundantly by God, meaning we always give thanks to Him.
- We always have way out from every problem.
- The Almighty gives us the breath of life, that is the Holy Spirit.
Job 32:8
32:8 But there isa spirit in man,
And the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding.
It refers to protection power. Holy Spirit gives us understanding and wisdom from Heaven.
James 3:17
3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first (1)pure, then (2)peaceable, (3)gentle, (4)willing to yield, (5)full of mercy and good fruits, (6)without partiality and (7)without hypocrisy.
These seven things are the practice of wisdom from Heaven.
The usefulness and understanding of wisdom from Heaven is as follows.
- We are used in the building of the perfect body of Christ, according to the ministry from God.
Proverbs 9:1
9:1 Wisdom has built her house,
She has hewn out her seven pillars;
If God uses us in the ministry of building the body of Christ, he does not torture us, but He protects us from building the body of Babylon.
The building of the body of Christ is started from within household.
- A wife submits to her husband in every matter.
Submission refers to the neck, meaning we must worship more. Do not gossip. A wife must pray for her husband and children.
- A husband loves his wife as loving himself and is not bitter toward her. A husband also becomes the head of his wife and children. He decides everything according to the true teaching Word.
John 10:27-28
10:27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
10:28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.
It is continued with the building of the body of Christ in shepherding, between shepherding, until the perfect body of Christ. Thus, we will be protected from the power of Babylon.
- We are protected from antichrist with the number 666 who will reign in this earth for three years and a half.
Revelation 13:18
13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is666.
Revelation 12:14
12:14 But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.
Richness and smartness in this world cannot face antichrist. Only two wings of a great eagle are able to protect us from antichrist. These two wings of a great eagle will fly us into the wilderness far from the presence of the serpent. There, we will be cared by the Word and Holy Communion.
- The Almighty becomes the King and Heavenly bridegroom on His second coming.
Revelation 19:6-7
19:6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!
19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.”
It refers to renewal power.
Philippians 3:20-21
3:20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,
3:21 who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.
When He comes for a second time, He will renew us in a blink of an eye to become as glorious as Him and become the Heavenly bride who is ready to welcome Him on the glorious clouds.
Therefore, starting from now we must experience renewal power. The beginning of renewal is water baptism. If we have wrong water baptism, we will not be renewed when He comes.
Romans 6:2-4
6:2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
6:3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
6:4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
1 Peter 3:20-21
3:20 who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while theark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.
3:21 There is also an antitype which now saves us—baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
Water baptism equals to renewal of evil and unclean conscience to become a good one that has fear of God and is obedient.
Revelation 14:7
14:7 saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.”
Bad conscience produces deeds that make God, pastor, and parents grieve. But good conscience that has fear of God will glorify Him, and make parents and pastor happy. The result is the pastor will always be watchful.
Proverbs 3:9-10
3:9 Honor the Lord with your possessions,
And with the firstfruits of all your increase;
3:10 So your barns will be filled with plenty,
And your vats will overflow with new wine.
The practices of glorifying God are as follows.
- Glorifying God through our treasures, that is returning the tithe and special offering.
- Glorifying God with our body, spirit, and soul, that is hating sin and not doing it.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20
6:19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who isin you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
6:20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Proverbs 8:13
8:13 The fear of the Lord isto hate evil;
Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate.
We live in righteousness and become the instrument of righteousness, that is ministering Him with faithfulness and righteousness.
- Glorifying God with our lips.
Hebrews 13:15
13:15 Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of ourlips, giving thanks to His name.
We say good and right words. There is no lie. Let “yes” be “yes” and “no” be “no”.
If spiritual miracle happens, the physical one will also happen. God will create the thing that does not exist before. God will make possible the impossible one.
Revelation 14:7
14:7 saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.”
When Jesus comes for a second time, we will be renewed as glorious as Him and become the Heavenly bride.
God blesses us.
