Peace and grace in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Matthew 28 refers to shekinah glory or the light of glory.
There is resurrection after Jesus experiences suffering until He dies on the cross and is buried.
Matthew 28 consists of three things as follows.
- Matthew 28:1-10 is about the resurrection of Jesus.
It refers to shekinah glory shines the hard dark heart so there is renewal of life from carnal man to spiritual one as Jesus is.
- Matthew 28:11-15 is about the lying of the council.
It refers to the spread of the darkness or false news.
- Matthew 28:16-20 is about the commandment to preach the Gospel.
It refers to the spread of the light or shekinah glory.
We still discuss the first thing.
Shekinah glory shines the hard dark heart so there is renewal of life from carnal man to spiritual one as an angel or as Jesus is.
Matthew 28:3
28:3 His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. What must be renewed is the countenance or five senses to become as lightning, bright as the sun.
It means countenance that shines the perfect love of God.
We need the love of God to face at least two things as follows.
- Spiritual winter, especially during the completion of building the temple of God.
John 10:22
10:22 Now it was the Feast of Dedication in Jerusalem, and it was winter.
In the last days, winter without love attacks God’s servant and children, so there is hatred up to hatred without any reason. The situation without any love attacks marriage and ministry. For example, Cain kills Abel, the brothers of Joseph sell Joseph.
The trigger of hatred is envying the blessing of God received by the others, although actually all of us are blessed by God.
Hatred will increase up to hatred of antichrist to the church of God. Antichrist denotes Christian life who does not experience renewal of life because of hardening his heart. His heart freezes without the love of God.
- Cloud and rain, that denote problems and temptations in any field, even the impossible one.
If there is cloud and rain but we have the love as the sun, there will be rainbow from God.
Genesis 9:13-17
9:13 I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.
9:14 It shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the cloud;
9:15 and I will remember My covenant which isbetween Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh.
9:16 The rainbow shall be in the cloud, and I will look on it to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that ison the earth.”
9:17 And God said to Noah, “This isthe sign of the covenant which I have established between Me and all flesh that ison the earth.”
The rainbow is the covenant between God and every living creature in the earth.
Acts 2:16-18
2:16 But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
2:17 ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,
That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions,
Your old men shall dream dreams.
2:18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days;
And they shall prophesy.
This covenant is fulfilled in the New Testament in the manifestation of pouring the Holy Spirit to all man.
After receiving the pouring of Holy Spirit, we must always overflow in Holy Spirit, so the Holy Spirit becomes oil for supply in our life. We are never dry spiritually.
Leviticus 21:12
21:12 nor shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the consecration of the anointing oil of his God isupon him: I amthe Lord.
We must persevere in the shepherding pen to keep the anointing of Holy Spirit. We must persevere in three main services as follows.
- Golden Candlestick, that is perseverance in General Service.
- Table of Showbread, that is perseverance in Bible Study Service and Holy Communion.
- Golden Altar of Incense, that is perseverance in Prayer Service.
Only the shepherding Word (the stick of the Shepherd) that can lead the pastor (shepherd) and sheep to persevere in the shepherding pen. There is always a rainbow in the shepherding pen.
The usefulness of the rainbow is as follows:
- [Genesis 9:13-15] As a sign that there is no condemnation and perdition.
Romans 8:1-2,13
8:1 There istherefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
8:13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
The rainbow of Holy Spirit condemns sinful flesh and kills the works of the flesh, so we can live in righteousness and holiness, until we are perfect as Jesus is. Thus, we are not condemned by God.
Galatians 5:19-21
5:19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
5:20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
5:21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told youin time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
- Holy Spirit anoints our mind (the rainbow on the head).
Revelation 10:1
10:1 I saw still another mighty angel coming down from heaven, clothed with a cloud. And a rainbow wason his head, his face waslike the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire.
We must be careful so that our mind will not be manipulated by Satan.
- 2 Corinthians 11:2-4
11:2 For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you asa chaste virgin to Christ.
11:3 But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
11:4 For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or ifyou receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted—you may well put up with it!
Why must our mind be anointed by Holy Spirit?
- To face Satan that tries to deceive our true faithfulness to Christ in the matter of food. It refers to faithfulness to the true teaching Word.
1 Timothy 2:11-13
2:11 Let a woman learn in silence with all submission.
2:12 And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence.
2:13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve.
If there is Holy Spirit, we will be able to hold firmly to the true teaching Word and reject the false teaching whatever the risk. One of the false teaching is letting a woman teach and rule over a man.
- To face Satan that tries to deceive our true faithfulness to Christ in the matter of true ministry and true marriage.
Colossians 3:1-2
3:1 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.
3:2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
Satan tries to deceive us so that:
- We are unfaithful even leaving the true ministry to Christ.
- We are led to false ministry that is not according to the Holy Bible.
If our mind is anointed by Holy Spirit, we can be faithful and fervent in Spirit in the true ministry. We can struggle for the ministry more than everything in this world.
If our mind is anointed by Holy Spirit, we will struggle and preserve the true marriage. Ministry and marriage are two great secrets in the Holy Bible which cannot be separated.
1 Timothy 4:8-10
4:8 For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.
4:9 This isa faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance.
4:10 For to this endwe both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is theSavior of all men, especially of those who believe.
- The rainbow around the glorious throne of God.
Revelation 4:3
4:3 And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there wasa rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald.
Matthew 25:31
25:31 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.
Ezekiel 1:28
1:28 Like the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so wasthe appearance of the brightness all around it. This wasthe appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. So when I saw it,I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of One speaking.
How can we see the rainbow around the glorious throne of God?
- Through the sprinkling of blood.
1 Peter 4:12-14
4:12 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you;
4:13 but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.
4:14 If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you,for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified.
There is a rainbow of the Spirit of glory and of God behind the sprinkling of blood.
- Through falling down at Jesus’ feet when we face cloud and heavy rain.
John 11:3-5
11:3 Therefore the sisters sent to Him, saying, “Lord, behold, he whom You loveis sick.”
11:4 When Jesus heard that,He said, “This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.”
11:5 Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus.
God lets the one He loves experience dark cloud so we can see the rainbow of His glory.
John 11:31-32
11:31 Then the Jews who were with her in the house, and comforting her, when they saw that Mary rose up quickly and went out, followed her, saying, “She is going to the tomb to weep there.”
11:32 Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.”
If there is the Spirit of glory, we will be able to fall down at Jesus’ feet. It means we are able to confess all our sins and failures, confess that we are just as clay that is not worthy and powerless. We confess that we only depend on the mercy of God.
John 11:39
11:39 Jesus said, “Take away the stone.”Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been deadfour days.”
Without Holy Spirit, one will not be able to fall down at Jesus’ feet because he has hard heart and uses his own logic.
Falling down means believing and fully surrendering our life to God, although it is beyond our logic and ability. It means stretching out both our hands to God, and He will also stretch out both His hands to us, and there will be the rainbow of His glory.
The usefulness of the rainbow of God’s glory is as follows.
- Giving us extra power so we are unshaken and stay in the right way with God when facing cloud and heavy rain.
- Creating miracles to recover our life physically and spiritually, and erase all impossibilities. Also there is miracle to recover our marriage and children.
We are renewed from day to day until we are perfect as He is. We will be exalted on the glorious clouds and be in glory with Him forever.
God blesses us.
