Matthew25:31-3425:31."When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.
25:32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides hissheep from the goats.
25:33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.
25:34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, 'Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
On Jesus' second coming, He appears as King of kings and as the Great Shepherd to separate sheep from goats.
The sheep are on His right side but the goats are on His left side.
The base of the separation is
heavenly wisdom (not the size of the church building, not the riches, etc.).
Ecclesiastes10:210:2 A wise man's heart isat his right hand, But a fool's heart at his left.
The sheep are on the right hand because of having the heavenly wisdom, and they will enter the eternal Kingdom of Heaven.
The goats are on the left hand because of not having heavenly wisdom, such that they will enter the everlasting fire.
How can we have the heavenly wisdom?- Through fear of the Lord.
- Through meekness.
James3:13
3:13. Who iswise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct thathis works are donein the meekness of wisdom.
James1:211:21 Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
A meek heart is a heart purified from wicked sins, unclean sins, hatred, envy, etc., such that we can receive the hard teaching Word.
Heart is the center or the source of our spiritual life; it will determine our future, starting from now in the world, up to the eternal life.
Matthew13:4-913:4 And as he sowed, some seedfell by the wayside; and the birds came and devoured them.
13:5 Some fell on stony places, where they did not have much earth; and they immediately sprang up because they had no depth of earth.
13:6 But when the sun was up they were scorched, and because they had no root they withered away.
13:7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up and choked them.
13:8 But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
13:9 He who has ears to hear, let him hear!"
There are 4 kinds of heart grounds which will determine our life starting in the world up to the eternity as follows:
- Heart ground as the wayside, which denotes unquiet heart.
The practices are as follows:
- Not concentrating during listening the Word = the heart and mind are walking around, thinking about another things during listening the Word.
- Not being shepherded, wandering.
The consequence is the Word seed will be devoured by the bird (Satan) and will not spring. This means he does not understand the Word, does not believe the Word. He is not saved.
- Stony heart ground, which denotes hard heart.
The practice is listening to the Word with emotion, meaning being happy when the Word is in agreement with the flesh, but being angry when the Word conflicts the flesh.
The consequence is being spiritually withered, stumbling.
Matthew13:20-21
13:20 But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy;
13:21 yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles.
Stumbling = falling from the faith = not being saved.
- Thorns heart ground, which denotes doubtful and worried heart.
Matthew13:7,22
13:7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up and choked them.
13:22 Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.
The practices are as follows:
- Doubting the teaching Word, not holding fast to the right teaching, being tossed by another teaching.
- Making the temptation greater than the Word of God.
We must confirm in our heart, that the Word of God is greater than all our problems.
The consequence is being spiritually died, not receiving anything in the world until in the Heaven.
James1:6-7
1:6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
1:7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;
- Good heart ground, which denotes meek heart.
Matthew13:8
13:8 But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
The practices are as follows:
- Being able to listen to the World quietly, solemnly, not being sleepy.
- Being able to understand the Word.
- Being able to believe and sure to the Word = the Word is implanted in the heart.
The implanted and rooted Word in the heart will not be able to be pulled by anything. The more the sun blazes, the cooler that place.
- Being able to practice the Word, being obedient to the Word.
This will yield the hundredfold, sixty, and thirty crop.
Matthew13:23
13:23 But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it,who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty."
There are two meanings of thirty, sixty, and hundredfold fruits:
- Fruit with patience.
Luke8:15
8:15 But the ones thatfell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep itand bear fruit with patience.
Acts2:41-42
2:41Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.
2:42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.
The most important is the three kinds of patience, which denote the patience in three kinds of service:
- Golden Candlestick (the era of Moses) -->perseverance in the fellowship (the era of the beginning apostles) -->perseverance in the General Service (the end of the ages) -->bearing thirtyfold fruits.
- Table of Showbread -->perseverance in the apostles' doctrine and breaking of bread -->perseverance in the Bible Study and Holy Communion Service -->bearing sixtyfold fruits.
- Golden Altar of Incense -->perseverance in prayers -->perseverance in Worship Service -->bearing hundredfold fruits.
Worship is the peak of our ministry to God.
Genesis26:1,12
26:1. There was a famine in the land, besides the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went to Abimelech king of the Philistines, in Gerar.
26:12. Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the LORD blessed him.
Perseverance in the right shepherding is such that we do not fall into the famine, either physically or spiritually (spiritually withered, spiritually dead).
Genesis26:7,10
26:7 And the men of the place asked about his wife. And he said, "She ismy sister"; for he was afraid to say, "She ismy wife," because he thought,"lest the men of the place kill me for Rebekah, because she isbeautiful to behold."
26:10 And Abimelech said, "What isthis you have done to us? One of the people might soon have lain with your wife, and you would have brought guilt on us."
If there is a famine, especially spiritual famine, the marriage will be disturbed. It will easily fall into sins up to the peak of sins.
- Fruit of heavenly wisdom.
James3:13
3:13. Who iswise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct thathis works are donein the meekness of wisdom.
The usefulness of heavenly wisdom:
- Ensuring the success and beauty of our life.
Ecclesiastes10:10
10:10 If the ax is dull, And one does not sharpen the edge, Then he must use more strength; But wisdom brings success.
- Protecting us from the attack of antichrist who will reign for 3.5 years in the world.
Revelation13:18
13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is666.
- Making our face shine= changing our life.
Ecclesiastes8:1
8:1. Who islike a wise man? And who knows the interpretation of a thing? A man's wisdom makes his face shine, And the sternness of his face is changed.
If we have heavenly wisdom, our face will shine.
There are five senses in our face. Ear is for obeying the word, not hearing gossips. Mouth is for worshiping God. If ear and mouth are good, everything will be good, even perfect.
Mark 7:37
7:37 And they were astonished beyond measure, saying, "He has done all things well. He makes both the deaf to hear and the mute to speak."
Until on Jesus second coming, we will be renewed as glorious as Him.
God blesses us.
