Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation 21:2-321:2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
21:3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.The new man refers to the bride who adorns herself for the husband, the eagle which is renewed, or the Tabernacle.
Formerly, Moses went up to Mount Sinai for receiving two things as follows:
- The clue for making the heavenly kingdom on earth, namely the Tabernacle.
- The two tablets of stone.
Exodus 26:15 26:15 " And for the tabernacle you shall make the boards of acacia wood, standing upright. The Tabernacle was built of boards of acacia wood.
The wood refers to the brittle fleshly man physically and spiritually.
The acacia wood is black. It refers to the sins.
Thus, the boards of acacia wood refer to the brittle and sinful fleshly men.
The requirements of the edification of the Tabernacle spiritually are as follows:
- The acacia wood must be formed as the boards whose shape and size are same.
Revelation 1:5-6
1:5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood,
1:6 and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
The board refers to men who have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus as follows:
- Being set free from sins up to the peak, namely the sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage. We can live in righteousness and holiness.
- Being appointed as the priests and kings whom God uses for serving and ministering to Him.
Thus, the boards or priests and kings refer to one who is righteous and holy, bearing the ministry and taking part in the ministry of reconciliation between God and other people as well as serving and ministering to God in faithfulness and righteousness according to the ministry which God has entrusted.
The boards form the Holy Place or the holy Church and the Most Holy Place or the perfect Church.
- The board must stand upright upon two sockets of silver.
Exodus 26:15,19
26:15" And for the tabernacle you shall make the boards of acacia wood, standing upright.
26:19 "You shall make forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards: two sockets under each of the boardsfor its two tenons.
The two sockets of silver mean as follows:
- The redemption by the blood of Jesus.
1 Peter 1:18-19
1:18 knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silveror gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers,
1:19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
We are redeemed from the heritage sin, tradition, and our own sin, so we keep on living in righteousness anywhere, anytime, and in any circumstances.
- The pure, true, perfect teaching Word.
Psalm 12:6
12:6 The words of the LORDare pure words, Like silvertried in a furnace of earth, Purified seven times.
It is written in the Bible and contains the power of victory over Satan, who is the source of temptations. All problems are solved by God.
The true teaching Word is spoken by Jesus or revealed through a verse that explains other verses in the Bible. There is power of sanctification from sins.
John15:3
15:3 "You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
Standing upright means that we hold fast and obey the true teaching Word. We are not doubtful because of gossips or false teachings. We are not oblique and do not fall. We do not add and take away the Word like Eve who lost the paradise, lost all things, and perished.
Haggai 2:18-19
2:18 Consider now from this day forward, from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, from the day that the foundation of the LORD'S temple was laid--consider it:
2:19 'Is the seed still in the barn? As yet the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate, and the olive tree have not yielded fruit. But from this day I will bless you.'"
The results are as follows:
- God pours out the blessings.
- We can endure in facing all things until Jesus comes a second time.
- The boards must be overlaid with gold.
Exodus 26:29a
26:29 "You shall overlay the boards with gold,....
The gold refers to the holiness of Holy Spirit.
The boards must be overlaid with gold until the wood cannot be seen anymore and the sound of wood is not heard.
Ephesians 4:30-32
4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
4:31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.
4:32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ forgave you.
It means that all characteristics of the flesh must be thrown away [verse 31], so we can receive the characteristics of Jesus [verse 32].
Romans 13:8
13:8 Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.
- There must be two tenons for binding each board to another.
Exodus 26:17
26:17 "Two tenons shall be in each board for binding one to another. Thus you shall make for all the boards of the tabernacle.
The tenon refers to the ability to unite and have the close fellowship. It starts from the marriage, shepherding, and so on.
Ephesians 4:3-6
4:3 endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4:4 There is one body(1) and one Spirit(2), just as you were called in one hope(3) of your calling;
4:5 one Lord(4), one faith(5), one baptism(6);
4:6 one God and Father of all(7), who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
There are many differences in the Church and marriage, but we must have the seven unities. It begins from the one body or the one Head.
John1:1,14,12-13
1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:
1:13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
The Head is the true teaching Word that was born as man.
The body of Christ is the men who are reborn by the true teaching Word.
One body means being born from one womb of the true teaching Word.
If there are the seven unities, we will be able to enter the oneness of the perfect body of Christ although there are many differences.
- There must be the five bars.
Exodus 26:26-28
26:26 " And you shall make bars of acacia wood: five for the boards on one side of the tabernacle,
26:27 "five bars for the boards on the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the side of the tabernacle, for the far side westward.
26:28 "The middle bar shall pass through the midst of the boards from end to end.
The number five refers to the five wounds of Jesus on the cross.
The middle bar shall pass through the midst of the boards from end to end. It refers to Jesus who is crucified, the eternal one.
The four other bars refer to the cross.
Thus, the five bars refer to Jesus who is crucified on the cross with the five main wounds.
There must be the five bars. It means that the priests and kings must bear the cross together with Jesus or willingly suffer in the flesh because of Jesus or without sin. There is glory behind the cross.
The functions of the cross are as follows:
- The cross is the place where we can lean to.
Exodus 14:16,21
14:16 "But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it. And the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.
14:21 Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided.
It is able to divide the Red Sea. It means protecting and preserving our life in the midst of the difficulties in the world or solving all impossible problems, giving the beautiful successful future life in time of need, and using our life in the revival of Holy Spirit at the latter rain.
- The cross is the source of our help.
Exodus 15:23-26
15:23 Now when they came to Marah, they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. Therefore the name of it was called Marah.
15:24 And the people complained against Moses, saying, "What shall we drink?"
15:25 So he cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a tree. When he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet. There He made a statute and an ordinance for them. And there He tested them,
15:26 and said, "If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you."
The cross changes the bitter things into the sweet ones. The sick can be healed. One who has no peace in life can be peaceful. The failure can be made successful and beautiful.
- The cross is the source of our strength.
Esther 4:16
4:16 "Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!"
Esther 5:1-2
5:1 Now it happened on the third day that Esther put on her royal robes and stood in the inner court of the king's palace, across from the king's house, while the king sat on his royal throne in the royal house, facing the entrance of the house.
5:2 So it was, when the king saw Queen Esther standing in the court, that she found favor in his sight, and the king held out to Esther the golden scepterthat was in his hand. Then Esther went near and touched the top of the scepter.
The cross becomes the golden scepter or the anointing of Holy Spirit.
The functions of the golden scepter are as follows:
- For facing the murder to the Jews or facing the Antichrist.
The church must face the threat and persecution that divide the body of Christ.
We must keep silent much more, do the introspection in our life, and confess our sin. We keep strong and of good courage as well as believe and hope to God only.
- For facing the king, namely the second coming of Jesus.
Holy Spirit changes us from the fear of the flesh to the fear of the Lord or being obedient until the flesh does not speak anymore.
It continues until we are changed to be perfect. There is the gold reed in the New Jerusalem.
Revelation 21:15
21:15 And he who talked with me had a gold reed to measure the city, its gates, and its wall.
God blesses you.
