CHILD SUBMISSION SERVICEMatthew 21:16 is entitled ‘Jesus Cleanses the Temple’.
Matthew 21:16
21:16 and said to Him, “Do You hear what these are saying?” And Jesus said to them, “Yes. Have you never read, ‘Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants
You have perfected praise’?”Baby represents life who experiences sanctification by the true teaching Word from inside the heart to the mouth.
The practices of sanctified mouth are as follows:
- Inside: the mouth of baby is used only to drink pure spiritual milk, that is the shepherding Word.
If we listen and obey the true teaching Word, we will experience sanctification and perseverance.
1 Peter 2:1-2
2:1 Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking,
2:2 as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby,
We experience sanctification starting from throwing away five main sins, and we can persevere in three main services within shepherding. Our life is as the branch abiding on the true vine. Thus, sooner or later we will bear sweet fruit in the middle of bitterness in this world.
- Outside: the mouth of baby is used only to praise God, to witness and worship God.
Psalm 8:3
8:3 Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants
You have ordained strength,
Because of Your enemies,
That You may silence the enemy and the avenger. If there are these two practices, there will be the merciful hands of God that embrace our lives, to care and help us miraculously. The hands of God will also purify us until we are as perfect as Him and together with Him forever.
GENERAL SERVICE
Peace and grace in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Matthew 27 refers to the sprinkling of blood.
The whole Matthew 28 refers to shekinah glory or the light of glory.
Thus, there is resurrection and glory behind the death or cross.
Matthew 28 is divided into three parts as follows.
- Verse 1-10, shekinah glory shines the hard dark heart so there is renewal.
- Verse 11-15, the lying of the council, meaning the spread of the darkness.
- Verse 16-20, the commandment to preach the Gospel, meaning the spread of the light or shekinah glory.
We are discussing the first part.
Matthew 28:1-2
28:1 Now after the Sabbath, as the first dayof the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb.
28:2 And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it.Shekinah glory shines the dark heart so there is renewal [verse 3-10] from carnal man to spiritual one as Jesus is.
What must be renewed is the countenance.
Matthew 28:3
28:3 His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow.A sad countenance must be renewed to become bright countenance as lightning or cheerful countenance.
The examples and meanings of sad countenance spiritually are as follows.
- Cain.
Genesis 4:5-7
4:5 but He did not respect Cain and his offering. And Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell.
4:6 So the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen?
4:7 If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire isfor you, but you should rule over it.”
A sad countenance means one’s ministry does not please God and it is ignored by Him.
1 John 3:11-12
3:11 For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another,
3:12 not as Cain whowas of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother’s righteous.
The ministry of Cain does not please God since he ministers without love. The practices are as follows.
- Murdering, meaning hating up to hatred without any reason.
- Being disobedient to the true teaching Word.
John 14:15
14:15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments.
Matthew 7:21-23
7:21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
7:22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’
7:23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
Ministry without obedience to the true teaching Word comes from the evil one, and therefore one practices lawlessness. The more he ministers God, the more he practices lawlessness, and he will be perished forever.
Shekinah glory makes us minister with love and obedience to the true teaching Word. Thus, we will have success in this world, up to the highest success that is the door of Heaven will be opened for us.
- Hannah.
1 Samuel 1:1-3,9-10,15-18
1:1 Now there was a certain man of Ramathaim Zophim, of the mountains of Ephraim, and his name wasElkanah the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephraimite.
1:2 And he had two wives: the name of one wasHannah, and the name of the other Peninnah. Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.
1:3 This man went up from his city yearly to worship and sacrifice to the Lord of hosts in Shiloh. Also the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the Lord, werethere.
1:9 So Hannah arose after they had finished eating and drinking in Shiloh. Now Eli the priest was sitting on the seat by the doorpost of the tabernacle of the Lord.
1:10 And she wasin bitterness of soul, and prayed to the Lord and wept in anguish.
1:15 But Hannah answered and said, “No, my lord, I ama woman of sorrowful spirit. I have drunk neither wine nor intoxicating drink, but have poured out my soul before the Lord.
1:16 “Do not consider your maidservant a wicked woman, for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief I have spoken until now.”
1:17 Then Eli answered and said, “Go in peace, and the God of Israel grant your petition which you have asked of Him.”
1:18 And she said, “Let your maidservant find favor in your sight.” So the woman went her way and ate, and her face was no longer sad.
Hannah has sad countenance because of marriage and children problem. Ministry and marriage cannot be separated since they are two big secrets in the Bible.
The way out to solve marriage and children problem is coming to the tabernacle of the Lord. It means being well shepherded and obedient to the shepherding Word.
The results are as follows.
- Hannah makes a vow, meaning living in holiness. This is the way out from the marriage and children problem. Doing sins will destroy the marriage.
- Hannah prays. Prayer in holiness will be answered by God. The merciful hands of God (shekinah glory) will be stretched out to take away the reproach within marriage, up to bringing our marriage to the marriage of the Lamb of God.
- Two disciples.
Luke 24:16-21
24:16 But their eyes were restrained, so that they did not know Him.
24:17 And He said to them, “What kind of conversation isthis that you have with one another as you walk and are sad?”
24:18 Then the one whose name was Cleopas answered and said to Him, “Are You the only stranger in Jerusalem, and have You not known the things which happened there in these days?”
24:19 And He said to them, “What things?”So they said to Him, “The things concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a Prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people,
24:20 and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered Him to be condemned to death, and crucified Him.
24:21 But we were hoping that it was He who was going to redeem Israel. Indeed, besides all this, today is the third day since these things happened.
Sad countenance happens since they cannot see God, because they exaggerate problem or temptation and think that it is impossible.
The practices of not being able to see God are as follows.
- Being desperate and disappointed, looking for way out that is not according to the Word.
- Not understanding the death and resurrection of God, so that his life is not renewed and keeps being carnal man with its character.
Luke 24:30-32
24:30 Now it came to pass, as He sat at the table with them, that He took bread, blessed and broke it,and gave it to them.
24:31 Then their eyes were opened and they knew Him; and He vanished from their sight.
24:32 And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?”
How can we see God?
- When our heart burns while we listen the true teaching Word, that is one verse explains another verse in the Bible.
- During the Holy Communion.
Jesus vanishes means He enters our life and becomes one flesh and blood with us, to renew our life.
- When we worship God.
John 9:37-38
9:37 And Jesus said to him, “You have both seen Him and it is He who is talking with you.”
9:38 Then he said, “Lord, I believe!” And he worshiped Him.
The results of seeing God are as follows.
- Repenting in dust and ashes, abhorring ourselves, and confessing our sins.
Job 42:3-6
42:3 You asked,‘Who isthis who hides counsel withoutknowledge?’
Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand, Things too wonderful for me, which I did not know.
42:4 Listen, please, and let me speak;
You said,‘I will question you, and you shall answer Me.’
42:5 “I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear,
But now my eye sees You.
42:6 Therefore I abhor myself,
And repent in dust and ashes.”
- Being satisfied spiritually and physically.
Psalm 17:15
17:15 As for me, I will see Your face in righteousness;
I shall be satisfied when I awake in Your likeness.
- Being strong and of good courage.
Psalm 16:8
16:8 I have set the Lord always before me;
Because He isat my right hand I shall not be moved.
That is holding on the true teaching Word, not being desperate and discouraged but keeping on fully hoping of God, believing and fully surrendering our life to Him.
1 Chronicles 28:20
28:20 And David said to his son Solomon, “Be strong and of good courage, and do it;do not fear nor be dismayed, for the Lord God—my God—will bewith you. He will not leave you nor forsake you, until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord.
If we are strong and of good courage, God pays attention and struggles with us, until all our problems are solved. Spiritually, it is until the building of the body of Christ is finished. We will be able to see Him face to face on the glorious clouds on His second coming.
God blesses us.
