Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Matthew 28:20b
28:20 … and lo, I am with you always, evento the end of the age.” Amen. The accompaniment of God is to the end of the age. It means He is with us from now in the middle of difficult world so our life will be easy and light. Moreover, He is also with us during the days of antichrist so we will not be beheaded. He is also with us until we are lifted up to the glorious clouds on His second coming. At last, we will sit together with Him on the throne of Heaven forever.
The accompaniment of God is our main need and cannot be replaced by anything else in this world.
Revelation 3:21
3:21 To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.Who may get the accompaniment of God starting from now on until to sit together with Him on His throne? They are those who overcome together with Jesus.
Psalm 20:6a
20:6 Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; …The requirement to overcome together with Jesus is we must live in the anointing of Holy Spirit. Smartness and richness cannot defeat Satan. Only the power of Holy Spirit can make us win.
No matter how great a flesh man is, he is only described as a wood in the Bible. It cannot stand the heat and coldness in this world, because it will be fragile and broken. In the Bible, man is also described as clay that cannot stand bumps. Thus, flesh man must live in the anointing of Holy Spirit so he can overcome together with God.
From where do we get the anointing of Holy Spirit?
In the Old Testament, Exodus 30:22-30 is entitled “The Holy Anointing Oil”. The anointing oil is got from pure olive oil.
In the New Testament, in John 16:7, Jesus must go and die on the cross, but He is raised and lifted up to Heaven to pour the Holy Spirit started at the upper room in Jerusalem until now.
Thus, the anointing of Holy Spirit comes from the sacrifice of Christ on the cross.
John 19:31-34
19:31 Therefore, because it was the Preparation Day,that the bodies should not remain on the cross on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was a high day), the Jews asked Pilate that their legs might be broken, and thatthey might be taken away.
19:32 Then the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first and of the other who was crucified with Him.
19:33 But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs.
19:34 But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out.Jesus has died with four main wounds (two at hands, two at feet) to save the Israelites and anoint them. The fifth wound that is the greatest and deepest one (until blood and water come out from it) is to save and anoint the Gentiles.
Thus, the Gentiles get the anointing of Holy Spirit from the side of Jesus that is pierced and produces blood and water.
The process of the Gentiles to receive the anointing of Holy Spirit is they must receive the sign of blood and water from the side of Jesus that is pierced.
- The sign of blood in Tabernacle refers to the Altar of Burnt Offering.
It means believing Jesus and repenting. Our heart believes Jesus through listening the Word of God. Our lip confesses our sins to God and the others. If we are forgiven, we must not do sins anymore. It means being died from sins, or repenting.
1 Peter 2:1-2
2:1 Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking,
2:2 as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby,
Five sins are covered by blood from the fifth wound. Repentance is started from laying aside these five sins as follows.
- Malice (the lust of money that causes one to be stingy and greedy) and uncleanness (sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being given in marriage).
- Deceit, including lying.
- Hypocrisy, meaning pretending doing goods to cover sins.
- Envy, until hatred without any reason. It happens because one likes to judge the others or because of jealousy.
- Evil speaking.
- The sign of water refers to water baptism in Tabernacle.
Romans 6:4
6:4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
The true water baptism is the one as Jesus was baptized.
The true water baptism is one who has died to sin must be buried in water together with Jesus and come out of water to raise in new life, namely heavenly life.
1 Peter 2:2
2:2 as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby,
Heavenly life is as a newborn baby. It means as follows.
- Not doing sin, but living in righteousness.
- Only longing for pure and spiritual milk.
It means that the feeling is also right. The right feeling only longs for the true shepherding Word in the anointing of Holy Spirit. Without the anointing of Holy Spirit, the Word only becomes knowledge and has no spiritual value. As long as the feeling of baby is true, he will always long for the true shepherding Word.
1 Peter 2:4-5
2:4 Coming to Him as toa living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God andprecious,
2:5 you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
If we can enjoy the true and spiritual shepherding Word, we will grow to righteousness and become the instruments of righteousness. It means we become priests and kings who are used as living stones in the building of the spiritual house of God.
Being a living stone means living in the anointing of Holy Spirit and the mercy of God. There we get guarantee for present life in this world up to eternal life forever.
The signs of being fulfilled with Holy Spirit are as follows.
- Speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives us utterance. It is not taught by anyone.
Acts 2:4
2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
- Crying out “Abba, Father”, meaning we can be obedient and honest.
Romans 8:15
8:15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”
Saul lost the anointing when he was disobedient. He became dries spiritually. Ananias and Sapphira died physically (now it also refers to spiritual death) when they were dishonest.
Leviticus 21:12
21:12 nor shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the consecration of the anointing oil of his God isupon him: I amthe Lord.
The process to preserve the anointing of Holy Spirit is the priests must not go out of the Holy Place in Tabernacle. Now it means perseverance in the true sheepfold, or perseverance in three main services as follows.
- Golden Candlestick refers to perseverance in General Service. The sheep is drinking by doing it.
- Table of Showbread refers to perseverance in Bible Study Service and Holy Communion. The sheep is eating by doing it.
- Golden Altar of Incense refers to perseverance in Prayer Service. The sheep is breathing by doing it.
Within the sheepfold, sheep will grow spiritually up to spiritual maturity and perfection. Sheep will experience intensive sanctification starting from within the heart that is the store of sins.
Matthew 15:19
15:19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. The heart that is controlled by seven evil and unclean desires will be hard. The peak is being disobedient. One will not be able to say “yes”. It means disobedience. Moreover, he will be dishonest. The consequence is dying spiritually and going to perdition.
Isaiah 11:1-2
11:1 There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse,
And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.
11:2 The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him,
The Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
The Spirit of counsel and might,
The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.If the heart is sanctified from seven evil and unclean desires through shepherding, it will be filled with Holy Spirit with its seven manifestations.
- The Spirit of the Lord.
- The Spirit of wisdom.
If young people are willing to solemnly be sanctified, they will have no difficulties in their study.
- The Spirit of understanding.
- The Spirit of counsel.
- The Spirit of might.
- The Spirit of knowledge.
- The Spirit of the fear of the Lord, that is until we breathe with the fear of the Lord [Isaiah 11:3].
The fear of the Lord is the peak of anointing of Holy Spirit. It means we have the lamp with seven burning lamps. We live in righteousness starting from within our household.
- A husband radiates the light by loving his wife as loving himself.
- A wife radiates the light by submitting to her husband in all matters.
- Children radiate the light by being obedient to their parents.
The result is the darkness of the basket (sins concerning eating and drinking) and the bed (sins concerning marrying and being given in marriage) cannot enter the marriage.
But we must have the oil for supply, because the lamp can go out if we do not overflow in the anointing of Holy Spirit. The process to overflow in the anointing of Holy Spirit is we must experience the sprinkling of blood (the Most Holy Place).
1 Peter 4:12-14
4:12 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you;
4:13 but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.
4:14 If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you,for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified. The sprinkling of blood is the fiery trial or suffering without any sins. It can be in the form of fasting prayer, night prayer, suffering because of righteousness and ministering God.
When we are suffering because of sin, we must confess and stop doing it. When the sin is thrown away, the suffering is without sin with Jesus.
The result of the sprinkling of blood is the anointing oil is poured abundantly in the form of spirit of glory (shekinah glory). The greater the fiery trial is, the greater the spirit of glory that we receive is.
The proof of receiving the Spirit of glory is being happy in suffering, being strong and of good courage. The practices are as follows.
- Not being desperate or disappointed in facing everything. Not looking for our own way but keep believing and putting our hope in Jesus. We keep being happy, faithful and fervent in Spirit in ministering God.
- Keeping holding fast on the true teaching Word.
- Keeping living in righteousness and holiness. Keeping worshiping God.
When we are strong and of good courage, God struggles with us until we win.
The results are as follows.
- Together with Jesus, we overcome the world that is full of suffering and difficulties, so we keep living in peace and everything becomes easy and light.
John 16:33
16:33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
- Together with Jesus, we overcome the enemies, sins, et cetera, so we live in righteousness.
2 Samuel 10:12
10:12Be of good courage, and let us be strong for our people and for the cities of our God. And may the Lord do what isgood in His sight.”
The result is God makes everything good and beautiful in His time.
- Together with Jesus, we overcome the flesh that is worried and doubtful frequently, so we keep believing and fully surrender our life to God.
1 Chronicles 28:20
28:20 And David said to his son Solomon, “Be strong and of good courage, and do it;do not fear nor be dismayed, for the Lord God—my God—will bewith you. He will not leave you nor forsake you, until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord.
The result is God finishes everything. Spiritually, it is until we sit together with Him on His throne in the New Jerusalem forever.
Being strong and of good courage is as the lamp that keeps burning up to Jesus’ second coming.
God blesses us.
